The start date of Shaban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar immediately before Ramadan, has been announced in Saudi Arabia. In a declaration that the first day of Shaban will be Friday, January 31, officials said it was now "30 days until Ramadan."

The date could vary elsewhere due to differences in moon visibility. In the UK, attempts will be made to look for the crescent of the new moon on the evening of Thursday, January 30, which is the 29th day of the existing month of Rajab. If the moon is seen, Shaban will begin on January 31 and if not, it will begin a day later on Saturday, February 1.

Abu al-Aswad al-Dailani (RA) said: While we were present with Abu Dharr, he said: In the morning, alms are due for him, every fast is alms, every pilgrimage is alms, every utterance of "Glory to be Allah" is alms, every utterance of "Allah is most great" is alms, every utterance of "Praise be to Allah" is alms. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recounted all such good works. He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the Duha serve instead of that.

𝖶𝗁𝗂𝗅𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖠𝗋𝖺𝖻𝗂𝖼, 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗂𝗌 𝗄𝗇𝗈𝗐𝗇 𝖺𝗌 𝖠𝗅 𝖨𝗌𝗋𝖺’ 𝖶𝖺𝗅 𝖬𝗂’𝗋𝖺𝗃, 𝗂𝗇 𝖡𝖺𝗇𝗀𝗅𝖺, 𝖯𝖾𝗋𝗌𝗂𝖺𝗇, 𝖨𝗋𝖺𝗇𝗂𝖺𝗇, 𝖯𝖺𝗄𝗂𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗇𝗂 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖨𝗇𝖽𝗂𝖺𝗇 𝖽𝗂𝖺𝗅𝖾𝖼𝗍𝗌, 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖿𝖺𝗆𝗈𝗎𝗌 𝗃𝗈𝗎𝗋𝗇𝖾𝗒 𝗂𝗌 𝗌𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝗋𝖾𝖿𝖾𝗋𝗋𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈 𝖺𝗌 𝖲𝗁𝖺𝖻-𝖾-𝖬𝗂𝗋𝖺𝗃, 𝗈𝗋, 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖭𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝖬𝗂𝗋𝖺𝗃.

Ramadan Call typically refers to an invitation or announcement for the start of Ramadan, the holy month in Islam, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. This call can be in different forms depending on the context:

1. Adhan (Call to Prayer): The call to prayer is given five times a day by a muezzin from a mosque. During Ramadan, the adhan is especially important for marking the times for suhoor (pre-dawn meal) and iftar (breaking the fast). Sometimes the adhan is slightly different for Ramadan, often with extra emphasis, such as the phrase "As-salatu khayrun minan naum" (prayer is better than sleep) during the early morning call.

2. Ramadan Announcement (Ramadan Kareem): This can be a general announcement to the community, sometimes made by local mosques, media, or via public messages, informing everyone that Ramadan has started or is about to begin. It's common for communities to greet one another with "Ramadan Kareem" or "Ramadan Mubarak."

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) had seven children, and here is a detailed explanation to clarify:

1. Qasim ibn Muhammad: His first son, from whom the Prophet's kunya "Abu al-Qasim" was derived.

2. Zainab bint Muhammad: His eldest daughter.

3. Ruqayyah bint Muhammad: His second daughter.

4. Umm Kulthum bint Muhammad: His third daughter.

5. Fatimah bint Muhammad: His youngest daughter, who is well-known for her piety and as the mother of Hasan and Husayn.

6. Abdullah ibn Muhammad: Also called "Tayyib" or "Tahir," he was born after the Prophet's prophethood.

7. Ibrahim ibn Muhammad: His son from Maria al-Qibtiyya, who passed away in infancy.

All of the Prophet’s sons died in infancy, while his daughters lived longer, but only Fatimah (RA) survived him, passing away six months after his death.
