The Kogi State Government House in Lokoja which has had only a Mosque since the creation of the State will now have a CHAPEL for Christian worshipers courtesy of the Yahaya Bello administration.
The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted by the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN),Reverend Supo Ayokunle and Governor Yahaya Bello in the premises of the Lugard House today.
The Governor disclosed that the CHAPEL which will be commissioned in December this year was in fulfillment of the promise he made to God. This is personal to him but to many it is another expression of the Governor's stance to evolve a Kogi State of oneness with all religious, age and tribal differences discouraged.
