As we slowly slide into 2024, a lot of our minds are wondering what the year holds for us, would it be productive or filled with bills and a terrible hybrid of 2023?

Well, it is ok to be scared of what the future holds, however, being scared and being prepared are 2 different things, and I hope to prepare you for what lies ahead.

In the next couple of days, weeks and months to come, I will be sharing some of the businesses you can venture into come 2024 and beyond.

Please take note, I said business not “quick richness”. I know you will agree, there’s no problem in getting the rich - after-all that’s the hope of every business. However, the problem is trying to get rich quick, experience as shown that a lot of times you get broke quick, because at the end of the day, to be rich and successful you’ll need to solve a problem or give luxury. You can’t be rich just because you feel like it.

Wealth is give and take, I give something and receive money for giving it.

For example, If I’m a Realtor, I give good properties (sell) and I receive money for giving or providing it

Another example; I’m a comedian, I give laughter and receive money for relieving people’s stress

I’m a baby sitter, I give my time to help take care of someone’s child, I receive money doing it…

I am sure you get the drift, so next time you see a get rich quick money scheme, ask yourself: what am I giving, and what I’m I receiving?

Anyway, this post is meant to help you understand, thinking to solve people’s problems is the best way to a profitable business.

For example, people are looking to travel abroad for study and work, when you help them with their visa or flight or maybe with their travel accommodation, you have helped someone (give) and you will receive.

I want you to understand this concept because you will be needing it as I drop different businesses you can venture into.

These businesses will be businesses I have some level of experience with so feel free to ask for more information or direction when you see a business that may interest you.

Are you ready when opportunity comes knocking?

A lot of us are not ready and end up losing out on amazing opportunities when it comes our way, many of us are "opportunity-blind"
Take for example "Zoom" the video conferencing app.

Many of us did not know or hear about Zoom before Co-vid, but do you know Zoom has been operational since 2011?

In around Dec 2019 to 2020 when the covid lockdown was initiated in most countries, was when Zoom started gaining grounds.

In space of 2 years Zoom was able to achieve what they've not be able to achieve for the past 9 years. They grew so big that we don't even hear about Skype-which was the giant of video conference.

My point is, it took Zoom 9 years to get their business from 0 to 100.
Imagine if Zoom was not created in 2011 and Covid comes, do you think they would have been able to take advantage of the Covid situation which generated them over $4.6 billion.
You see, they were ready...

Another example is O3 supplies (My food supply business)
Before Covid, we were doing just ok, but when the covid opportunity came...our sales and clientele (locally and internationally) grew, which also increased our revenue significantly.
You see..We were ready...

I have a flight booking business at the moment. I'm doing ok. However, I am waiting and looking for the opportunity to come to explode the business and one day, Otastravels will be a very big brand.

Do you see my point? It is better to do something and grow at it than to do nothing and hope for some miracle.

For those of you who have a business (products or service) dont give up. Remembe, it took Zoom 9 years to start seeing amazing result. It might take you shorter.

Also remeber that Linda Ikeji was blogging for about 8 years without making money from it, but see her now, one of the richest young African women.

Only those who stay in a business long enough will be able to spot an opportunity when it comes.
Only those who stay in a fight can even think of winning it.
So my dear, adjust your thinking. When people see problem, you should see opportunity.
When they see rubbish, you should see treasures.
Get your house/business in order, so when your "helper" comes, you are ready.
But the big question is, how do you or your business stay ready?

The Country is Hard!!!

Is there a time that Nigeria has not been hard? Ask our parents who were paid to go to school and had employment waiting for them (Nigeria was hard).
Ask those who experienced dollar at 50 naira (Nigeria was still hard)
Ask those who experienced when bag of rice was N9,000 (The country was still very hard)
My point is...regardless of when we fine ourselves the country will always be hard.
But the thing is...admist this hardship, some are still buying new tear rubber cars.
Country is hard but some are building and buying new houses.
Country is hard people still use N1.5 million to buy a smart phone.
Country hard and the clubs and lounges are fill up with men and women ready to spend the dough.
Country hard and people are still poping drinks worth millions of naira in a sitting
Country hard and women still buy human hair worth N500k.
My point is, country hard for YOU, no mean say e hard for everyone.
The same country people de Japa, na the same country others they travel for 1 week holiday and come back.
The thing is, life will always be hard for some and soft for others, the big question is which of these categories of people are you?
Are you one of those who complain about hardship and beef any successful person you see.
Are you one of those who look at every rich person as one who must have done something bad, illegal or shady?
Or are you one of those who look at the bright side of things.
Are you one of those who are very thankful and grateful of what they have - no matter how little?
Are you one of those who will get up and say "my side go green while others say e de red"
Are you one of those who will stop complaining and do what is profitable enough to make you money?
Are you one of those who see opportunities instead of obstacles.
Do you know that some who have Japa still complain of hardship?
Doesn't this tell you that some levels of hardship is psychological?
The truth is, If you say Country hard, it will always remain hard for you.
Speak some positivity into your life, hustle and business and stop complaining.
If you see wetin de bring money and it is legit, my dear, shook head inside.
Do what it takes to join the winning team.
Network, learn, unlearn, relearn, get mentored, get off your comfort zone, be relentless, be determined, be focused, have and stick to a routine and dont be a quitter.
For those of you who still think it isnt easy.. remember, nothing good comes easy but we cut through the pain because we await and are sure of the reward.
Think of it....the pain of child birth is excruciating but then alot of women still want to get pregnant. This is because the buddle of Joy after the pain cant be measured.
Believe in what you are doing, it will always get better at the end.
And before I forget, learn to Give and share the little you have, dont be stingy all because " The country hard". If you give, you will receive,plus, you be "Happier" if you are a giver even to those "who dont deserve it".

Learn how fb ad works and you will be able to sell anything to anyone, anywhere.

NOTE: you need to sell what people want and when they want it. Don't go sell something irrelevant and feel because you run Facebook ads,you will bag millions.

There's a strategy in knowing if what you about to sell will make you profit.

This is what you need to learn about selling digitally, it's no magic, it's a skill that you need to learn and master.

1) if you have the time and you are committed, go online do your research, study and practice; although practicing with fb ads means you will loose money initially because you will make mistakes, but when you eventually understand how it works,you'll start making back all the lost funds.
And yes,it takes TIME & 100% COMMITMENT.
This route isn't easy but it's the best👍🏾

2) You pay someone to teach you, this way you learn and avoid making mistakes.
However,This isnt the best option, because you might pay someone who think she/he's good at FB ads but isnt,you end up learning rubbish.
Or you meet someone who is quite good but wont want to show you everything,so you keep coming back for more and pay more.
This way of learning will work 100% for you if you have someone who is GOOD and has your interest.

Choose your way of learning, depending on your time,learning ability,financial strength and how quickly you want to stand on your feet.
Regardless of which route you take, sha learn and don't stop learning (it's called self investment/development)
