THE HEADIES AWARD IS MORE VALUABLE THAN THE GRAMMY.

The Grammy award plaque is worth $15 and it offers no value to the African artist.

The HEADIES AWARD has been rewarding next rated artists with very good cars and the winners go home with cash most times.

The award plaque is plated with 21 carat gold.

Afrobeats has taken over the world but do you know that 85% of the revenue generated by this genre doesn't come back to Africa?

The Afrobeats artists and key players are getting crumbs from the cake because we do not have the systems for managing and promoting our own effectively.

Politicians are quick to congratulate and claim recognition when our artists are making us proud globally, yet they will refuse to provide the basic things needed for the creative industry to flourish.

All hands are needed on deck to grow our own, we the Creatives have built the foundation on our own, let other sectors wake up.

Happy birthday and congratulations to my boss, mentor and leader.

I didn't just learn studio engineering from you, I learnt how to manage people, manage a band and a business, schedule events bookings. I also saw how you loved your wife and supported her business and ministry. Yes you are a great leader, yet so open minded and open hearted, you are contented and believe so much im organic growth and progress, you lead from behind with so much humility and passion.

I had the privilege of working with you in the studio and with the band, and i must say your work ethics is amiable, your commitment to rehearsals, scoring and songwriting is impeccable, your dedication and desire to do your best in every project is worth learning.

I appreciate you for giving me your time, your heart and the skills.

Thank you for believing in me and encouraging me to learn studio engineering three decades ago.

I remember how you told me not to worry and assured me it was easy to learn, and seeing that i was been marginalized back then at the studio, you took me to Rev. Nosa Edeh, then you were just installing the new Faith Duet studios, it was the first time I ever saw a four input multi-track tape recorder.

This is how my journey started as a studio engineer, you gave me the push without knowing me neither did you know anything about me, I was just a young kid you took interest in without expecting nothing in return, even when I was not given the chance at the studio you were working then, you made another alternative for me to learn by taking me to uncle Nosa.

Thank you master.

Happy birthday and congratulations to a multi talented and creative leader and elder. Your work ethics, calmness, accommodating spirit and lover of people is worth emulating.
