Beloved Saint,
I rejoice greatly because hell is for the devil and his agents, but Heaven is for us who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints in newness of life. I pray that nothing will make us miss Heaven. The Kingdom of God is within us. God is living in us, hence, the Kingdom of God is Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit. The Power to live a holy and righteous life is in us. The Holy Spirit is our Helper. Enjoy God's Kingdom now and always.

*LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE: Toward Remodelling Nigeria (3)*

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” - Psalm 119:105

Our light will shine in the thick darkness engulfing our nation, and the damned darkness can not overcome it. Interestingly, for us to make any meaningful impact on Nigeria, we must first believe that the LIGHT of lights is with us and He is willing to help us, but we must do the work. We must also belief in ourselves and our God-given abilities (inner light). This positive mindset is pivotal to navigating challenging situations, and focusing on solutions rather than problems. Let’s also avoid the blame game (blaming everyone else but ourselves) and excusities (making excuses for our failure to bring about the needed change); instead, let’s own the responsibility of the state of our nation. The mess we find ourselves in is the consequences of the recklessness of both the leaders and the lead.

This is a time for rebirth; a time to bounce back and make significant progress. We have all it takes from natural to human resources. We know that we may be lacking in capital resources such as machineries and industries; but this is our wake-up call. Nothing can limit or stop us except us. We have made a mess of our country but like the prodigal son, we can turn a new leaf. We can imbibe the spirit of oneness and cooperation to propel forward. Remember that mistakes and failures are not fatal or final but springboards to success when lessons are well learned. "After rain comes sunshine; After darkness comes the glorious dawn. There is no sorrow without its alloy of joy; there is no joy without its admixture of sorrow. Behind the ugly terrible mask of misfortune lies the beautiful soothing countenance of prosperity. So, tear the mask!" Obafemi Awolowo insists.

We must immediately begin to retrain our minds and bodies for the task at hand. We must committed to self-improvement in our personal and professional lives. Many of us have not successfully read a book since they graduated from the University; yet “education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today,” Nnamdi Azikiwe inspires.

How long will you shout out and clamor for ALREADY-MADE leaders while you are the ETHICAL LEADER we have all been searching for. The truth is that God has chosen for Himself a leader who is a type of saviour to pilot the affairs of this nation; but will he work alone? Will he not choose the RIGHTEOUS to lead with him? Moreover, we have a lot of elective positions in our political system. Will only one man lead Nigeria? Will the president not need men and women of integrity to deliver his God-given mandate? It’s time for personal and professional development rooted in accountability and justice. Let’s begin to read the Scripture and inspirational books, listen to audio and video teaching, attend seminars, training programs and conferences to expand our minds and discipline our senses. NEVER FORGET: MUST BE DOERS OF THE WORD NOT HEARERS AND READERS ONLY.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” says Nelson Mandela. Fantastic!!! Here, we have just a nation, which is not up to a fraction of the whole world. Change is POSSIBLE!!! My beloved brother, my sweet sister and all saints. GO!!! Don’t wait. Go into the world and teach all that THE MASTER HAS THOUGHT US.

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE: Toward Remodelling Nigeria (2)

“The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.” Luke 11: 34-35

It is evident to everyone of us NOW that we all have a part to play in Remodelling of our nation Nigeria. No one is too big or too small to participate in this divine directive. We only need to recognize that WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. If we can illuminate the world; then it is a small task to LIGHT UP Nigeria.

I have given serious thoughts and prayers to this; my conviction is that it is possible to Remodel Nigeria starting from here and NOW. How? You may ask. By making serious commitment and taking proactive approaches. We must accept the responsibility of the FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN. Our own reality might have been bleak; but we can change the trajectory of the reality of our descendants. Many of our forebears fought for our independence and freedom from foreign oppression. It is time to love our OWN by committing to remodelling Nigeria and setting at liberty the destinies of our children.

Wow!!! I hope you are not asking us to fight the government. Absolutely NO! We do not wrestle against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I believe that our solution lies within everyone of us. We must draw strength from within and we must start with ourselves, then our families before we move into communities, states and the nation as a whole. Look at it this way: God is the God of little beginnings and each family represents a little part of Nigeria. If every man commits to ethical self-leadership and extends his or her influence to his or her family, Nigeria will produce the ethical or righteous leaders we all are craving for.

Each one of us is the eye of our body (Nigeria); when the eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when the eye is bad, the body also is full of darkness. The darkness hovering over our nation was the consequence of our individual neglects and lack of true virtue. We have secretly compromised our integrity and uprightness, we have failed to leave a legacy of ethical leadership and we expect something from nothing. “Whatsoever a man sows, he will reap.” We are reaping what we sowed. The good news is that God is a GOD OF SECOND CHANCE. NIGERIA will be great again and will succour many other countries if !we grab the opportunity called GOD’S SECOND CHANCE.

I apologize to the righteous ones amongst us; while appealing to others to ensure that the light, which is in them is not darkness. If our individual selves and our families are full of light, having no part dark, the whole body (Nigeria) will be full of light that will illuminate the world making us THE GIANT OF AFRICA INDEED.

Consider the recurrent use of the word - COMMITMENT - do something about it right NOW. “The difference between interest and commitment is that when you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it is convenient, but when you're committed to something, you accept no excuses - only results,” Kenneth Blanchard insists. Our success in Remodelling Nigeria will not be left to chance. We will intentionally take proactive steps in order to obtain the desired result... (Remember, GOD is with us)

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE: Toward Remodelling Nigeria (1)

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” Matthew 5: 14-15

Your light represents your God-given abilities, your unique strengths, your innate genius and values that can positively impact the world. The “light within” represents unique qualities, talents, passions, and values inherent in each individual. Everyone has this inner light: unique talents, skills, and virtues. If you look inward you will discover your own divine strengths, genius and talent or gift.

We all value time and I guess most of us would prefer to travel long distances by air than through by sea. Thanks to the Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur Wright, who let their light shine through their determination, innovation, and perseverance. These two brothers had a vision that men could travel by well controlled and sustainable aircraft. They worked tirelessly on their vision and ignored the mockery of others, who insisted that men could not fly. They also remained committed to their dream, despite numerous setbacks and failures. Rather, they continuously refined their designs and methods. Through meticulous and expensive testing and experiments, they developed the principles of aerodynamics that laid the groundwork for modern aviation.

The Wright Brothers embraced failure as a stepping stone by learning from their numerous mistakes. They saw failure as opportunities to learn and improve their designs rather than as reasons to give up. Each setback served as a stepping stone toward their ultimate success, as they continuously refined their aircraft. Finally, on December 17, 1903, they successfully achieved the first powered, controlled flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, marking a monumental moment in history.

We all know great Nigerians who are creating jobs through their enterprises and talents. Don’t excuse yourself on the ground of lack of university education. Most men and women who have left their indelible marks on Nigeria and the world didn’t have university education. I like education: formal and informal. However, I believe that when you can’t afford a formal education, you can self-educate yourself with numerous facilities available now.

Master Jesus Christ is saying to you now: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”. What can you do to glorify God and make this world a better place? More importantly, what can you do to help in remodelling Nigeria? We have prayed; we have fasted; NOW is the time for action. Everyone of us has something meaningful to contribute. Please don’t be that WICKED SERVANT who buried his talent. Trade with your talent; Refine your talent or Multiply your talent. Whatever is in your heart to do, DO it now!!! Tomorrow men are LAME. Nigeria needs progress. The change you seek is trapped in you, my beloved.

THE LORD IS YOUR DEFENSE

We are spiritual beings living in fleshly
bodies and we are citizens of heaven
dwelling on earth. Our identity is in
Christ; our treasures are in heaven. While we
reside here on earth we still take part in the
affairs of the world but not like other dwellers;
but like those who have hope of another dwelling
place, which is far better than our present place.

The world hates us because we do not belong to it.
The devil ensures that we have tribulations and
trials of all kinds. However, we are of good cheer
because Jesus has overcome the world. In Him we
have peace as opposed to the troubles we have in
the world. We are more than conquerors in Christ
who had already won the battle on the cross of
Calvary.

The battle is not ours. It is God's and He
has already won it. Having handed us the authority
and the keys to life and death, He expects us to
exercise this authority not by physical combat or
by the use of war weapons but by the use of His
words.

Hear the Lord speak:
"I am a covenant keeping God.
I made a covenant with Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob,
at the right time I fulfilled it.
Today, I want to establish my covenant with you,
because I want to bless you.
I can only bless my people I will never curse them.
This covenant is sealed with the blood of My Son.
If you abide in My Son,
Jesus and obey His commandments,
I will make you greater than your peers.
I will establish every word of your mouth
and make you great indeed.
I will distinguish you and honour you."
