THE SEPARATION

Ruth 1:14 At this they wept aloud again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her.
Ruth 1:15 "Look," said Naomi, "your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her."

I welcome you to a blessed week. Praying for you, God will be at your sides and you will be heal from every forms of internal or external diseases in Christ Jesus. Amen.

From previous Sunday's, we are looking at a story of Ruth from the book of Ruth. Today, the theme is: THE SEPARATION (Ruth 1:14-16)

Naomi had given both Orpah and Ruth a good option to leave for their homes and allowed her to bear this bitter lose of two sons and her husband alone. But in the course of their decisions, one woman was able to fulfil beyond her vows to her dead husband, because she understood vividly that after saying yes to a man for marriage, you'd also said yes to marry his family. So she opened herself a new chapter of her life, relation to God's plan for her and Naomi's answered prayers.

However, this is a question Naomi asked Orpah and Ruth which you will truly need to answer with sincerity heart. Ruth 1:11. Precisely, Jesus is asking you, 'Why will you go with me?' Why will you accept Him? Why will you follow Him? Why are you serving Him?

Brethren, what answers will be your replied to the aforementioned questions. (Use the comment box to share).

You know the truth? Any souls not yet consecrated with Christ cannot appropriately answer that question; because only a life that has separated from his/her old life will understand true definition of Follow Me and I will make you. Matthew 10:38, 16:24. Also, certain brethren will not be able to reply that because their convictions and motives were totally wrong in their true service to God.

Though God uses one or two incident to call you into His love but does it mean that you will always be pampered by God? The word says, He chastens the one He loved. Peter also asked Jesus why should I follow you? What then shall we receive? But see what Jesus Christ replied him in Matthew 19:27-30. You can not say following Christ, you will have a smoothly journey.

Obversely, some theists practised ethicists and moralists in their worship; believe that if certain principles are applied, they are following God and at the end, they will make heaven. Yes, we are all running a race to make heaven but can you say that my following Christ is because He is Just God. Or, my worship or going to church is not attached to what I need or want?

The essence why you go to church isn't because you believe that God will meet your needy and wanting. Today's worshipping God is perturbing. Rarely you see true worshiper and followers of Christ. Worst still, you accept Jesus Christ and since then, have you know Him? Are you just following Christ for one purpose 'To be called a Christian?'

Basically on the call of TOTAL SEPARATION. You ought to choose either to serve God or Man. Realize that being a member of a big cathedral church or a churchist does not depict that you are following or being with Christ. Stop covering up with vanity status; unprecentable life in God's present.

Suffering is part of the Game, if you truly are for God sides. Because as you make final decision today as Ruth waited on a spot looking her left and right side to think which one to follow either Orpah or Naomi? You also must think the best way thus favors you. Obviously, the moment God gave us power of choice, no one else can take it from you unless you sale it for them.

So dear, are you ready to follow the option He gives, Life (Deut. 30:19). The separation that happened to Ruth brought great testimony at her latter end. But before she separated from her old to a new beginning, Ruth 1:16. that is the experience you are in into now. You are thinking deeply in your heart to follow Christ head and ears but another spirit is telling you that 'No! will you abandon all of this and that? Will you then be poor again? Remember how you'd suffered before you got this affluence? Will you then say goodbye to all this houses, money, influences, fame and achievements accomplished? So you will leave and follow Christ?' Read Jesus reply in Matthew 19:27-30.
verse 29 says,
And anyone and everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for My name's sake will receive many [even a hundred] times more and will inherit eternal life.

Sir, even when you are tormented that if you leave you will go insanity, lose your family, business collapse or disaster aftermath, I beseech you in the name of Jesus, rebuke that voice with Jesus and run to Christ for divine security. Read the our monthly covenant verses Isaiah 45:2-6, 46:4.Psalm 109:31.

Again, you that covers yourself with churchism and hide under the umbrella of Christian to commit sin, repent. You need to do yourself a final surgery of separation from old life to new life. And coming to grow spiritually and physically in the new life (Death of Christ gave us) you need someone to teach, train, disciple you before you are able to Go (Mark 16:15).

Romans 6:1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?
Romans 6:2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
Romans 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
Romans 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin —
Romans 6:7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
Romans 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

Sequence, to follow Christ or following Him, you give no justification to sins. You must died to self and sin. And to other way round, question to answer is, if Jesus comes today, what will be your excuse? And if He tarries, does it mean I should continue sinning or a jackpot ticket to remain tit-for-tat and or living my old way life?

Confession Prayer: Holy Spirit of God, help me to choose life in all my decision. Cut everything that will not make me to live for you. Ruth 1:6-7
[6]Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in Moab how the Lord had visited His people in giving them food.
[7]So she left the place where she was, her two daughters-in-law with her, and they started on the way back to Judah.

THE PROGRAM OF GOD FOR YOU

Pls, actors and actresses, act perfectly with that God's scripts in your life.

Every one has a script to act upon but the challenging is that yours might be hectic than your colleagues in the drama stage of God- Earth.

The Earth is the stage for every one to perform even showcasing God's talents in them. God created us not for no purposes but given you and I a script to play on the drama stage of life. Which Naomi and Ruth story gives us certainty of God's programs upon us.

This is the third series of this message: The Journey Back To A Land Of Recovery (part 3). BR: Ruth 1-4.

Naomi was the valiant while Ruth is the screenplay. The two sons of Naomi are ghost manager. Orpah was just a guest in the drama. Every one in this story played exactly role given to them to give a better film productions which later introduced Boaz and other casts that participated in the post-production of given birth to Jesus Christ.

It is obvious that you can never understand early stage of your script while acting. Naomi experience at the beginning when God's programming upon her started showcasing. She never knew her situation is known and permitted by God for His own purposes to manifest. But her latter was blessed. Ruth 4:14-16.

Incitement, dear, when God wanted to use you for one particular testimony or assignment, He will not bother about your pain either how you will respond. Thus He never invited anyone for negotiations before He uses individuals for His glory.

Do you know the truth? That pain, bitterness, death or any severe experience you are encountering is for God's glory to be manifest through you. See, I'd a testimony to be shared first Sunday in September (kindly stay tuned with this page to read my current story about God using a man to preach about Himself live). Note here that when you are parsing a challenge beyond you, be joyful that you are given such a great script to act on by God. Though it is not easy to bear but the grace to soften such burdens are available for you when you trust in Him and have Faith in His word (The Bible). Ps. 23:4.

Are you reading this and you are going through a difficult seemingly to make you doubt God's existence, ruining your die hard sacrifice of your salvation, even you are about to turn from the Faith just to look out for solutions elsewhere. Sir/ma, beseeching, DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD. All the setbacks are major set-ups. All what you lost shall be recovered.

That trauma duration is just your latter permanent testimony for Abundance. If not, heretofore, Ruth and Naomi stories cannot be erasable. Maybe same story is what will end yours, do you believe?

Confession Prayer: My Father My Father, let my ending be written similitude as Job 42. If not in this Devo book, it will be in the previous book released. Because there is a statement made saying, you can anoint yourself but you cannot appoint yourself.

Whatever you are to become in life, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. Don't keep functioning under delegation. Delegation is different from Appointment. You can be a delegate. Even you can willfully delegate yourself to specific jobs but that is not an appointment.

You can put oil to your head and anoint yourself but don't keep up to that without Holy Spirit baptism. Selection or delegation of people you are hearing their names and seeing wonders done by them are just best nearest meaning of Appointment. Because, on the other hand, Delegation is a synopsis of Appointment.

Nonetheless, you need Holy Spirit's help. The job(assignment, ministry, or tasks) you are given as your daily routines or a span of responsibility is just a mere fact of Delegation. It is the Spirit of God that can make an appointment.

The word, touch not my anointed is not for a general statement either to all people. Though everyone has access to the grace of God but does not have the privilege to acquire God's generality forms. That is His fullness.

The premised reason Jesus Christ came to be killed and bring life to us is for everybody living on earth to be saved but the same Jesus put a different among people He comes to deliver.

He says, Poor and Rich you we have among you. Hence, people on earth are in tabular format. The Poor vs The Rich.

Yes, it is true that you desire to see good posterity of every one of your friends and family members, but also real that not everyone will be richer even among them you will see the privileged and unprivileged.

What will living look like if all human beings are rich?

That will squelch servants, perhaps acrimony shall rise beyond boundaries. So Jesus Christ came to die for all, then left us an option to choose Right or Wrong I.e life or death. Sigh.

Everyone in Christ is being anointed. But only those who listen to His second statement will be sent.

And the second statement is *COME.* Come to me and I will make you a fisher of Men, Jesus said.

He further said if you do my work you shall do exceeding and greater thing than this I left with you.

Then, those who come to Him for *MAKING* He commanded to *GO*. Read Matthew 10.

Any men that heard Him saying, GO, that is the appointment mark of such a man.

For example, Until an athlete hears Go before s/he starts his/her racing. Without God, no one will leave his/her spot. Similarly to what Jesus did to His twelve disciples in Matthew 10:5 beneath.

Matthew 10:5-8 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

That is an appointment with anointing way of Christ. God will not appoint you and unanoint you. Through delegation intertwined with Selection, you can be anointed by grace.

For instance, someone can call you and render you an offer either given you a task, get this, it is not an appointment but that scenario is delegation.

A delegation is an act of delegating. Whereby office held by delegated persons are temporary in tenure. Hence, their offices are short terms for duty. People of delegate have no job security. They can be replaced by the sole proprietor at nicety time.

Delegation posts are not secure. But Appointment offices are for the long term. By selection, age limit will crave out certain people but there is no age limitation to appointments. Because a 60 years old man will still be doing God's work after retirement but delegation man will go to start farming and society easily forget such persons. Examples of delegates are Nigeria House of Reps, The senate, and even some former ministers who were forgotten because they existed as delegated servants not an appointed man like Benson Idahosa, Ayodele Babalola, Kenneand unmentioned names that have blessed us till date.

Sequence, An appointment man has job security. Even when there is no one to help him, one sure guarantor is intact for him/her to recover, and this is the Holy Spirit doings to a man of appointed.

Holy Spirit is the one guarantor to all His servants. People He anointed and appointed, Holy Spirit is their security person and gatekeeper.

Thus you need this Holy Spirit, before your assignment. Delegated man will not necessarily need Holy Spirit, all that he/she needs to possess is the Spirit of Wisdom and Fear of God.

Perhaps, an appointed servant will not remain with the spirit of wisdom but hunger for the Spirit of God and the fullness of Him is what deprived him of sleeping and doing things according to men's ideology.

Do you know the truth? You will not see a man that heard the voice Go and remain to function under Spirit of wisdom only. But operating first among all other Spirit dwelling in Christ's Body which is THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

Isaiah 11:2 highlighted 7 Spirit in Christ's Body but the first of all is...
SPIRIT OF THE LORD...

Isaiah 11:2 And the *Spirit of the LORD* shall rest upon him..

_the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD_

That primitive Spirit is what Jesus says in Acts 1:8, talking about when you have Him and He empowered you, you are good to go. And to Break and Chain any and everything. So Jesus Christ told His disciple to wait for that Spirit to come and empower them before leaving for the tasks ahead.

Truly, in your delegation duration, grace for appointment can rest upon you. Noticing such grace in your life, seek and wait for Holy Spirit empowerment before the presentation occurs.

Acts 1:8 says
But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and _you shall be My witnesses_ in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Get this, Delegation is for a temporary tenure but an appointment is permanent. Why? Anyone that has an appointed mark has no age limit. But delegation has. Although retirement occurs to both but one, that is, an Appointment is till death while the other is for ending service.

A note for us, ministers: If truly you are appointed, don't serve as a delegation servant do and end there but seek for your duty post and you get it from Only Spirit of God- Holy Spirit.

Even to your old age and gray hairs He will sustain you. He will carry you; He will sustain you and He will rescue you. In Jesus Christ name.

A JOURNEY BACK TO A LAND OF RECOVERY part 2

Topic: RUTH INNER INSIGHT
Text: Ruth 1

The land of Moab is a cursed land to Naomi and her in-laws. What they had as gifts from God was taken away by the curse upon the land of Moab. But this is the chapter of Ruth which I want us to deliberately considered as today's topic.

The inner insight of Ruth. Naomi already knew that it is impossible for her to marry and give birth to another sons or daughters. She had no hope of who to select for both again as husband. Many different marriages exists during the time of Jesus and after His departure. This was the kind of perspective Naomi is trying to introduce saying she had no male child that could become either Ruth or Orpah's husband.

In some cultures, when a husband dies, the family will make the wife to marry one of their son even if he had married. This is called Ghost Marriage. But in the case of Naomi, no one is left for her to give Ruth or orpah as wife to, so she charged them to depart from her and look elsewhere for another husband to be. But Ruth declined her motion.

Ruth 1:15-17
[15]And Naomi said, See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.
[16]And Ruth said, Urge me not to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God my God.
[17]Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts me from you.

Beforehand, as Isaiah 25:10 buttressed how Moab land was on curse...
The hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain; but Moab will be trampled in their land as straw is trampled down in the manure.

The Moab land was a land of blessing returning to a cursed land. Even it is the grace of God that made Naomi to suggest to them that let us return from here to Judah. With it not, they might have died in Moab and writers of the Bible won't included Ruth as a chapter of the Old book.

However, Ruth spirited that if Noami should have a place of homeland, thereof, she will be able to help her as fulfilment vow to her husband that his family also will be her family. As she said to her dead husband also repeated to her husband's mother. Vs 15-17.

Beloved Brethren, adversity in marriage and family is inevitable. The creator of Marriage and family knew of this. Jesus affirmed this in John 16:33. The first marriage and family which started in the Eden Garden was challenged. So the adversity of your marriage or family should not make you to depart from your husband or wife. Should not break down your family either. Proverbs 24:10 says If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

In trying time, never concluded to option B either divorcing your vow to your spouse, family. That is the time you need to show them your strength and help others to stand firmly in Faith with you. Romans 5 vs 3 saying we glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation worketh patience.

Patience is one of the tool you mostly needed in trying time. Which Ruth was rewarded at the end of her life. Orpah didn't have such patience but Ruth sufferance was latter grace.

To have a perfect testimony at the end of every trials, you need an inner insight. Pray that God should heal your inner eyes to see thing beyond it's limitation. Ruth foresaw what Orpah can't so you also need that grace to see far like an eagle sees her preying from distance.

Confession Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for today's word. I pray that every place my blindness have declined my latter testimony, oh God of second chance have mercy upon me. Heal my physical and spiritual eye and help me to see the good-clear end of every tunnel (in my life, health challenge, ministry, family, marriage, business and include that adversity to this prayer) in Christ Jesus I pray. Isa. 42:6-7.

Amen.

A JOURNEY BACK TO A LAND OF RECOVERY

I pray for someone reading this now that every of your desert land, God will fertile it with Joy and Peace in Christ Jesus. And possibly you need to be chased out of that valley land you called home or whatever keeping you in a land, house or office taking away your property, destroying your wealth and vowing to make you empty before this quarter ends, God will arouse circumstance that will embarrass you to leave that community, state, house or office in Jesus Christ name I pray for you and I.

Welcoming you to another dedicated Sunday. A series message from the book of RUTH.
Part One: Naomi experience with God
Bible Text: Ruth 1

Naomi never knew that what God planned for her is different from her present experience. She said a lot to God.

Ruth 1 vs 20-21,..for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

The truth is? When God comes to you beyond your wishes be ready to follow His will.

The ways of God to man is unknowledgeable. God uses circumstances to change His people's testimony. God uses a storm to perform His might. God uses a sea to display His glory. Even nothing God cannot use to deliver a person and His people.

Besides, Naomi viewed Moab land has productive land but, until God wanted to bring out world testimony from her gens. Thereof, God allowed what Naomi called 'Very Bitterly' experience and 'Affliction'. The two word "Very" - mean to a great extent or exceedingly. "Bitterly" - mean acrid taste - corrosive. Let say Naomi referred her experience as a great acrid taste.

incitement, beloved brethren, the land you are residing, are you patient enough to discern the voice of the Lord from every experience you encounter? Do you know if God is communicating your breakthrough through that storm? Sir, Ma, not everything happens for just sake of life. There are encounters that replicate God's voice. And if God is trying to tell you leave and you remain in that streets, the harsh cane God will use to chase you out (if He wants to have mercy upon you) is through taking away one or something so precious to you either created a storm that will ashame you forcing you out to leave such environs.

It is true that if Naomi never suggested to Ruth for them to return to Bethlehem, Naomi and Ruth would had died with no Bible reference. Because God's plan is Yes and Amen, He ought to create an event that will establish His earthly project through causing Naomi to past through darkest valley because He, Yahweh is with Her.

Herein, no matter darkest valley is, be assured that if you are in His plan, God is with you. Psalm 23:4 says, Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. Amp. (Go to this page and read previous post, don't miss it).

God is with you, dear. Don't cause God either let lack of discernment suffer you more vicious. And to be safe, you must be in Christ and be His friends.

Also before you reside in a place, house or community, no matter how greenland the place is, ensure you take permits from God. Your entrance to that place let God approved it. Hence, Pray before doing anything. Do not assume that...

Again, that land of affliction, regret, pain, death and severe lost of wealth that you'd called your home address, work stations, location, God in His mercy will drive you out and return you back to your land of fulfilment, recovery, breakthrough and where a new covenant will be established with you, friends and family in Christ Jesus I pray. Amen.

Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

GOD IS THERE

What condition are you going through which has made you think God is not or unanswered God? Is there an illness that is making you reason Better to die than live since healing is not sure anymore? Are you just be sack and heretofore you have not been employed, and though you are serving God no testimony yet? What crisis, financial crisis, debt crisis, or business crisis you are into? Dear, beloved brethren, God is there with you.

The moment you renounced your old way and accepted Jesus Christ, you are living as one in Christ-like Father and Son is One. So you living in Christ, you are One also. And anything that is One can not be separated.

Rejoice in that circumstances. Praise God for permitting such latter rewarding experience. You knew not what is the end of the Valley Road your journey now. If God grants you grace to see the outcome of your life, truly, you will be praying for more encounters.

Jesus said my thought for you is Life, Peace, Abundant health, Freedom, and Prosperity with a good future. Jeremiah 29:11
[11]For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Saying also that if you dwell with me, He will abide with you. John 6:56. Do you then realize here that God is with you there?

You will not die, sickness will not kill you, you will not borrow but start to be a lender, you will not permanently be jobless, you will feed many generations, and you will once again see the glory of God. But be cautious to curse God through your challenging time.

If He doesn't have the power to serve you, He will not permit such into your life. Because I know God as a lovable father, not as a wicked man. Through Christ, He is sending invitation cards that we should come to Him, we that are laborers, and restore us rest. Matt 11:28

Thus, stay in Christ. Instead of grumbling, worship Him. This is not a time of regression or aborting blame. This is an hour for you to hold unto your Faith tightly and look upon Christ (He who'd paid for your debts on the cross) for your salvation and restoration. God is with you. Let's keep calling on God. Jer. 33:3.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for this word you shared with me today knowing that in everything I encounter in this journey, you are there with me to save and deliver me. Thank you for this sure assurance defense, so help me to see your presence around me and grace to strengthen my faith in you. In Christ Jesus I pray, Amen.

FIND REST WITH HIS WORD

With today's occurrence the only road to seek comfort and be at peace is meditating and proclaiming God's word.

The Word of God is fresh and life. Any day you open the word of God, with the Spirit of God reading through you, every contents will be fresh and surely you regain strength to rise above doubt and worries.
