Tragic Death of Ajegunle Youth Sparks Calls for Justice

Tragedy struck on April 19, 2024, at Sky Mall in Sango Tedo, Lekki, claiming the life of Patrick Chinemerem Anosikwa, a young talent from Ajegunle. A routine shopping trip turned fatal when an argument between Patrick and an on-duty mobile policeman escalated. Shockingly, the officer drew a dagger, fatally stabbing Patrick before fleeing.

The community is devastated by this inexplicable act. Patrick, a young man full of dreams, was taken from us in a manner that's hard to grasp. As we mourn, we demand justice for our lost brother, friend, and promising youth. The person responsible must face the consequences, and a thorough investigation is crucial.

This tragedy highlights the urgent need for accountability and reform within Nigeria's law enforcement agencies. No one should face such violence from those meant to protect them. Preventing such incidents in the future is essential.

Let's unite in seeking justice for Patrick Chinemerem Anosikwa. May his memory inspire positive change, and may we work towards a future free from such senseless violence.

Hon Lawrence Ewhus Sapele is a born Leader with the high sense of humility. He's very Organize and coordinated.
I met my good Ijaw brother in Sokoto state during our service year.
I and Hon Lawrence Ewhus Sapele were roommate in Goronyo Local Government, Sokoto state.
I never knew he was from Bayelsa State until we both started conversation and we introduced ourselves.
He's from my maternal LGA ( Sagbama LGA) and we lived together happily together as brothers in Sokoto state.

Sapele is a coordinated leader during our service year.
He was the first corp member that made us to sabi Goronyo LGA. He brings all corp members together both Christians and Muslims.

He pushed so hard to make sure we received our state allowee early and he was elected as the Chairman of Goronyo corpers association due to his sense of leadership.

He always make sure that we are all Ok and believe some much in the happiness of all o us. He was also elected as the Commander-in- Chief of the NYSC road safety, Goronyo chapter. He was the drama coordinator of the NCCF Goronyo chapter.

He is deeply a leader and if he can do all the above during our service year, I believe he will do more if giving the opportunity to serve the people of Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.

I want to call on the people of Sagbama to give this good Ijaw son to serve...

Don't Compare BBNaija To Unfair Financial Reward Of Best Graduating Students In Our Universities - Godday Odidi

We don't take proper research before we come on social media to criticize things. I was once in that shoe until I did some social media courses on how to analyze issues with proven facts recently.

BBNaija is a pure business show while the university is an academic environment that trains students to be educationally independent on their certificates.

You don't expect the best graduating student to get N90,000,000 as a cash prize from the University, it means the University will close down. University trains us on knowledge and how to use it to work independently. They reward the best students with awards, little cash and retains the student for lecturing if he or she wishes to teach. The university system can't change its methods of rewarding the best students. If you want students to get N90,000,000 for a cash prize, ready to pay high school fees. The university environment is for knowledge, not profit-making. Our government does not invest much in education like other advanced countries. Even private universities that collect high school fees from students cannot afford to give their best students such huge amounts of money as rewards.

Sometimes, you see the academic environment trying to convince the Alumni to support some of the building structures in the university. All to support academic growth.

In BBNaija, it is a business show that generates income every second, sponsors are bringing their money to support the show with their products. Investors are meant to make a profit.No investor wants to lose his or her money.

Have you asked why sponsors keep supporting BBNaija in millions? No businessman wants to lose money. They use BBNaija to create awareness for their businesses. They are selling products not knowledge.

Even as BBNaija is highly criticized as a show that promotes prostitution, investors and supporters are still queuing to support the show every year.

Every year, they get new sponsors, how many business people want to invest their money into the university community without returns? Some businesspeople support profitable shows that can make their products sell. One particular real estate company that sponsored BBNaija last year is now globally reputed. It has more clients now than ever before. Business minds know where to advertise their products for good sales.
