Kogi, the bridge, and November 11

“Olayinka Braimoh is Okun but presents himself as a Kogi state candidate. He is not running on an ethnic flag. He is not a tribal champion. He is the unifier. A candidate that all three senatorial districts should rally around.

“At 46, he is vibrant, dynamic and relates very well to both the young and the old. He is a man familiar with the use of technology to solve contemporary problems.”

Discussing Affordable Housing Development with SDP Presidential Candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo

Housing is one of the most prized tangible possessions on the planet. The Federal Republic of Nigeria's 1999 Constitution mandates that the State direct its policy toward ensuring that suitable and adequate shelters are provided for all Nigerians.

There are almost 180 million people living in Nigeria, and there is a severe housing shortage nationwide. According to statistics, Nigeria has a housing shortage of over 17 million homes and an occupancy rate of more than six people per home.

Many Nigerians endure horrific living conditions in shanty towns, slums, and unfinished structures unfit for human occupancy. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy is required to address the housing challenge in Nigeria.

SDP administration would conduct an audit to ascertain the extent of housing need, review housing policies to make the process more efficient and result-oriented, and overhaul the National Housing Scheme and Federal Mortgage Bank to improve their performance.

The government will also start, promote, and drive a housing revolution by constructing the first 1,000,000 housing units, which will be finished within 6 years. It will also make public-private partnerships (PPP) more efficient and effective.

The National Housing Fund (NHF), housing fundraising efforts through donors and aid organizations, and loans from national and international institutions will all be used to finance the housing project.

The expected advantages of this housing revolution include the stimulation of national economic growth, strengthening of confidence, and improvement of quality of life (lower incidence of diseases, better health).

It will also raise the average life span, boost national pride, and enhance security for citizens.

The goal of Prince Adewole Adebayo is to create a housing sector that offers Nigerians safe, secure, respectable, and environmentally friendly homes in a fresh, trustworthy, and stable political system.

By successfully carrying out its Housing Revolution, the government of Prince Adewole Adebayo will have a significant impact in this direction.

State of the Nation: Reshaping Nigeria’s Foreign policy with SDP Presidential candidate Prince Adewole Adebayo

Similar to other countries, Nigeria's foreign policy aims to advance the stated objectives and interests of the Nigerian state for the good of the country and its citizens. Many intelligent Nigerians believe that this expectation has not yet been fully met.

The transition of Nigeria's status and Nigerians' lives from where they are to where they should be, among other things, has not been accomplished through Nigeria's foreign policy.

In reshaping and remaking our foreign policy, the government of Prince Adewole Adebayo will put the interests and safety of Nigerians first irrespective of where they are.

A sector-specific collaboration and exchange model, which fundamentally focuses on the Nigerian economy and the Nigerian people, would replace Nigeria's foreign policy's current emphasis on bilateral agreements with nations and international organizations.

The country's reputation and respect must also be protected and will be increased. This can only happen if all obligations to the international organizations to which Nigeria belongs are satisfied while working to reposition Nigeria's foreign policy focus.

Moreso, the government of Prince Adewole Adebayo will restore the prestige and respect of Nigeria by restoring Nigeria's influence over the ECOWAS region and regaining Nigeria’s regional dominance within the ECOWAS bloc.

Respect and prestige are attracted by regional domination. Every signed agreement that no longer serves the nation's interests should be annulled and there will be increased foreign investments.

State of The Nation with SDP Presidential candidate .
Focus : Nigerian security

As the 2021 Global Peace Index released by the Institute for Economics & Peace ranks Nigeria 146 out of 163 independent nations and territories according to its level of peacefulness, Nigeria has seen an uptick in the global terrorism indexes over the years.

The basic source of insecurity in Nigeria has continued to be issues with terrible governance. Every government's main duty is to provide its people with the fundamental infrastructure and social services they need. Ironically, Nigeria and its people lack these necessities.

It is completely unacceptable for a government to ask for assistance in combating and eliminating the Boko-Haram threat while simultaneously giving the Fulani herders unrestricted license to slaughter and maim Nigerians.

The herdsmen threat appears to have overpowered the current administration. This administration has not made any significant efforts to protect Nigerians of various federated states from this deadly threat.

My government will address the nation's security from all angles, because to ensure the security of our nation is to protect the lives and safety of Nigerians, maintain the sovereignty of Nigeria, its values, institutions, territory and provide for the prosperity of the nation.

The Nigerian economy is in comatose, requiring immediate and urgent intervention towards sustainable, inclusive growth and development.

Poor policy choices contributed hugely to the snag experienced in the Nigerian economy.
