Your happiness is your own responsibility, no one else can provide it for you. While relationships and connections with others can enhance your happiness, the foundation must come from your own efforts and mindset.

You must find joy and contentment within yourself, relying on others for your happiness can bring disappointment and lead to dependency.

Focus on your passions, values and personal growth. Take time to understand what makes you happy and pursue those things actively.

By taking charge of your own happiness, you build a stronger, more independent sense of self. This doesn't mean you can't share joy with others but the foundation of your happiness should come from within.

When you are responsible for your own wellbeing and happy with life, you can better appreciate the relationships and enjoy the experiences in your life.

Think about what worked well and use those lessons in the future.

When you lose, don't get discouraged. Instead, see it as a chance to learn and improve. Figure out what went wrong and how you can do better next time.

Remember, setbacks are a normal part of life and can often lead to big breakthroughs.

Your attitude towards both winning and losing shapes your path. Stay humble when you win and gracious when you lose.

-you’re free from the constraints of others opinion and expectations ,
-your confidence and genuineness inspires others and your energy becomes contagious.

Don't give room for anyone to dictate your emotions even if they seemed to have walked in your shoes, faced your challenges and felt your pain.

They still can't fully understand the depth of your struggles, the weight of your burdens or the complexity of your emotions.

Their opinions, no matter how well intentioned are mere speculations from their own perspective, not yours.

We all experience and handle things differently no matter how similar the situation might be to someone else’s.

Your feelings are uniquely yours, shaped by your personal history, experiences and achievements.

It is not right for anyone to minimize, dismiss or control your emotions. Instead, they should listen actively, validate your feelings and support you without judgment.

Let them recognize that you’re the authority on your own emotions and can navigate your soul better than anyone else. Until they've lived your life, they can't truly grasp your perspective.

So, your individuality, emotions and humanity deserve respect, empathy and understanding.

Most of your life has been spent trying to shrink yourself.

Trying to become smaller.

Quieter.

Less sensitive.

Less opinionated.

Less needy.

Less you.

All because you didn't want to be a burden more less seen as one. You didn't want to be too much or push people away. You wanted people to like you. You wanted to be cared for and valued. You wanted to be wanted, to be needed.

So for years, you sacrificed yourself for the sake of making other people happy, for years you suffered and now you’re done!

You're tired of suffering and you're done shrinking.

It's not your job to change who you are, to become someone else's idea of a worthwhile human being.

You are worthwhile, not because other people think you are but because you are. You don’t have to earn it, it doesn’t have to be bought, you just are inherently, by default. God’s love and grace makes it so.

You exist and therefore you matter.

Your thoughts matter. Your feelings matter. Your voice matters and with or without anyone's permission or approval, you will continue to be who you are and speak your truth even if it makes people angry, even if it makes them uncomfortable, even if they choose to leave.

You refuse to shrink. You choose to take up space. You choose to honour your feelings. You choose to give yourself permission to get your needs met. You choose to make self care a priority.

You choose you.

I know you’ve read and heard this plenty of times but here’s another reminder for you just in case you forgot or ever forget:

God's plan will always be more beautiful than your disappointments.
Even when things seem dark and uncertain, trust that God is creating something beautiful.

He's taking all the difficult moments, the tears, the worries, the fears and using them to make something amazing.

It may take time but eventually you'll see the beauty of His plan. The struggles you're facing now are part of creating something incredible.

So hold on to hope and keep trusting God. He's making something beautiful out of your struggles and the sun will shine again.

In the meantime, be patient and always practice gratitude.

As promised, He shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory, he will give his angels full charge over me. Jehovah Jireh cares for me🥹🙏🏼
