The attempt by some retired and current serving officers of the Sierra leone army to seize power forcefully met a strong resistance by forces loyal to the government of the day.

This is more of military fighting among themselves in other to capture or protect constitutional order. Many top officers who plotted this move along their subordinate have been arrest, investigation has commenced as more are on the run.

13 government loyal soldier as well as civilians lost their lives in the process, the president has promised to get to the end of the world to bring all culprit to book.
