I once lived in a compound in Lagos with this couple that fights almost everyday.
It became so bad that neighbors no longer seperate them whenever they start because they have tried advising , counseling and separating them all efforts was fruitile.
The man h$ts this woman with anything he can find around at the time while the woman keeps screaming , using her teeth , fingers to design his body in retaliation.
There was a day their physical combats got so bad, he was beating her as usually but this time she pulled his balls so hard .. and flat he goes on the floor yarning for help ...only God saved this man that day because he almost joined his ancestors .😩
It was after this last fight they finally got seperated for months. By the time they were reconciled the fight automatically ended , peace was restored in the entire compound .
The major root cause of their differences was
1. Insecurity and competition
2. Lack of trust
3. Misunderstanding
4. Anger
5. Impatience .
Dear unmaried , marriage is not easy as it may appear on social media .
It takes a lot of hard work
You must be sure and intentional to make it work.
You must be sure to be mentally and emotionally ready for it .
This man , survived that attack on his balls, what if either of them kpaied in their routine kungfu combats?
What lesson are they teaching their children who always withness the show ?
You see, you must be ready and fully understand that decision you are about to take .
In Marriage;
Love is not enough
Feelings are not enough
Money is never enough
It takes two prepared individuals, mentally and emotionally intentional to pulled through else you regret ever saying yes to marriage.
My question is how prepared and ready are you ??
Don't rush in else you will rush out !
