THE VANITY SIDE OF LIFE
I remember 1999 vividly, I remember Eagle Square and what happened there on the 29th of May, 1999. 20 years after, so many things have happened.

From Eagle Square where power changed hands in 1999, I have seen many who were present on that day but today, have been forgotten in idle permanent homes of their graves.

I remember how Nelson Mandela walked into the venue and the ovation that followed and with my same eyes I saw him in a casket.

In my eyes Stella Obasanjo rose to affluence and influence and with my eyes I saw her being driven out of power in a casket.

In my eyes Desire Kabilla who was also at Eagle Square fell to the bullets of his bodyguard in DR Congo. A former minister of Health, Prof Ransome Kuti was buried.

In my eyes Chuba Okadigbo rose, fell and died. Abubakar Rimi and Alex Ekwueme who contested a Presidential primaries with incumbent Obasanjo in 2003 at the same Eagle Square had their funerals organized.

In my eyes, "almighty" Tony Aneni laid in-state helplessly in Benin. Prof Dora Akunyili, the strong woman who was everywhere, fell on a street of India.

In my eyes, "Evil Genius" begin to wear canvass on an agbada on a wheelchair in Minna as he watches life without his once powerful wife, Maryam.

In my eyes Edwin Ume Ezeoke was buried, Gen. Victor Malu's obituary was in the news.

In my eyes, a Sultan fell from the sky, the remains of the owner of Bolingo Hotel was seen at Lisa village.

In my eyes Bola Ige fell, Suntai crashed and died, once landlords of Plateau and Taraba, Dariye and Nyame walked into prisons.

In my eyes, almighty Olabode George went and came out of prisons. Justice Salami heard the news of the death of Justice Katsina Alu.

In my eyes, a Landlord fell in Kwara and a strongman won election in Kogi but never lived to hear his victory announcement.

In my eyes, Azazi reigned and fell, Yakowa never lived to tell a story. Oronto Douglas who was once a powerful man behind the throne was buried.

In my eyes, Yar'adua came and fizzled out of power like two of his ministers.

In my eyes, Solomon Lar that sat that day as PDP Chairman, a symbol of power and affluence was buried on a plateau.

In my eyes, I saw strong men rise and fall very cheaply. If this writeup should teach us anything, let it be known that power is transient. God gives who he wants to give. He says "I will have mercy on who I want to have mercy on".

To those of you today in power, where would you be in the next twenty years?

In 2039 when names like Buhari, Atiku, Amaechi, Wike, Saraki, Ekweremadu, Tambuwal, Mark, Dave, Onu are mentioned what would that child write about them then?

As we approach life, have it in mind that POLITICAL POWER IS NOT PERMANENT. THIS SAME POWER HAS CONSUMED MEN, DESTROYED MARRIAGES, CUT SHORT DREAMS, ENDED RELATIONSHIPS, BETRAYED TRUSTS AND KILLED FELLOW HUMANS... Is it worth dying for?

WHO KNOWS TOMORROW??
In 1985, Dasuki arrested Buhari.
In 2016, Buhari arrested Dasuki.
In 1995, Al Mustapha arrested Obasanjo on the order of General Abacha.
In 1999, Obasanjo arrested Al Mustapha and he was jailed for 8 years.
In 2010, Prof Osibajo was answerable to Gov Fashola as one of his commissioner.
In 2017, Fashola became answerable to Acting President Osibanjo as one of his minister.

Look AT YOUR MATES!!! Please don’t let anybody rush you in life. We all Have our time. To some, it comes too soon, and to some, it comes late, but the ultimate thing is, it will eventually happen.

Many people will try to downplay your effort by comparing your life with others, they will make you feel lazy, useless, unserious and irresponsible whereas, you have been working and fighting so hard to achieve your heart desires, but it has just not come to past yet. Because you are failing doesn’t mean you are losing, Naaaa!!! Failure is only an instrument God uses to redirect us in life. He Re-routes our paths and orders our steps. So never confuse other person’s journey with your Destination. Just stay on track, keep moving, keep believing. Abuja doesn't know that PR or Roger exist, how would they now ban Ogun marketers from participating? we are not concerned with Ogun neither do we operate under their forum, but we owe it a duty of care to fight this injustice to a stop and stop unleashing terror and hardship on your members because of your own greed. what is good for the goose is also good for the gander. We payed the same amount of levy for the approval of filling station and also bulk purchase agreement, why would you now subject them to a second class marketers? this tyranny must stop! we say NO to this oppression. i believe the new zonal executives of IMB coming in will do justice and call this unit excos to order. REMEMBER you will leave your post one day, if that position had been permanent, would you have gotten there?What legacy will you leave behind? We are all Family men! the head of our children that has been subjected to hardship because of your greed will ask you! the creator of those you unleash hunger on because of your ban ban policy will judge you. Your boss from Abuja only wants to know how you generate money and has no such intention as stopping PR. But the fact remains that you wont open up so that he would not know your corrupt practices. We have obtain his number and will update him any moment from now because your PR is taken priority over our statutory allocation. This rubbish must stop and stop enriching yourself. You want to scatter us the way you scatter ORE marketers whom are unable to load till date. Everybody knows in the depot environment that YOU! BAKARE and ODINAKA are extremely wicked and heartless. You both have no conscience, I wonder why the IMB Excos are shielding you and why its members cannot stand against you? Shey na JUJU ni? because Ejigbo Marketers are known for their vibrancy and will stand against any act of oppression. IMB Chairman! You are playing your members according to BAKARE's rules and instructions. We know both of you attended the same school and was instrumental in your coming back as chairman. Please put all that aside and lead us well. Stop feeding us direct information so as to cover up BAKARE's s**t and stealling. A word is enough for the wise.

THE GOOD! THE BAD!! AND THE UGLY!!!

Following the waves of event in the depot as things unfold, the political saga, the fuel scarcity and every Opportunity and Technic people embrace to face this critical challenge. we cannot pretend and cannot continue to play dumb before things go astray. The point of discussion today is the SCARCITY and role the GLADIATORS among us are playing to enrich themselves.
MARKETERS!!! please wake up to challenge, in an environment where we have elites and people of all standards been played like this by two minor players, its a big shame. The GREED being exhibited by the two representatives of the sales department is of the highest order. Both have turned the allocation of the marketers to a self enrichment tool and while marketers are going home with peanuts, their agents will smile to the banks to deposit their harvest. Let me give you all an eye opener, the present approach been used by them and the executives of the Union was/is never in the best interest of the marketer. Every quota of the system, e.g The Safety department, The DPR, The Account that were eligible for a slot in their PR program have all been deprived of and instead they award the PR on their behalf and send the money to them. This is a callous and wicked approach to monopolize the distribution of PR to themselves. They have series of companies in which they use for this their greedy and selfish operation. We have gathered several evidences both oral and documented to back up any PETITION that may come up any moment from now straight to the National Assembly and relevant authorities will be copied such as the NNPC tower, the DPR, ASOROCK, State house Alausa, the DSS, the EFCC, the PPMC etc. Let those reading this peace of article relate this message to BAKARE and ODINAKA, It is not a threat! and if it is, we shall make it real! it cost little or nothing to petition both of them and they will loose their work within 24 hrs no matter which or what backup they have at NNPC Tower that has decided to abandon them here in Ejigbo without promotion or transfer. Let them distribute the PR to the appropriate quota, like this it will go round the marketers instead of their useless and greedy means of grouping. We are committed to the progress of our members and will not allow some minority to sabotage the effort of every member to progress.
MEMBERS! this is a typical illustration of what is happening in the depot regarding their so called grouping policy, OUT of lets say 40 PR released, they will group members with just 5 PR. The remaining 35 belongs to the Omegas that are above grouping. This is just an illustration and we all know how many program they release every week. If this grouping system is done with genuine intention and with all fair treatment to humanity, there should be not more than 4 people to a group so that the money derive from it can sustain and at least cater for a whole family.
Where are all the freedom fighters of the union? Where are all the activist of IMB? where are the Agbekoyas of Ejigbo? this oppression from Bakare and Odinaka must be stopped at all cost. We all know what you both are doing through your agents and by special grace of God, they will be there to testify against you at your point of arrest because, we will surely point them out too. Please remember! people are standing against the government of the day, people are standing against the military carrying guns, so who are you both that thinks we cant report you to your employers? Surfice to say that we are just observing as things unfold after the IMB unit election especially this crucial time that the depot have resumed work. watchout for frequent updates as from now because lot has to be discoursed. Season greetings to you all! may God protect all of us and grant us devine mercy to witness more years on earth, May God force all our enemies to surrender and subject themselves to us like it is in the story of Alhaji Ige Tijani AKA OLOYO! by special grace.
