TRUE HISTORY OF CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM SOCIETY

Well meaning members made concerted effort to settle the rift between Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel and Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase to no avail.
The rift climax into turmoil when Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel was pulled down from the "Go-Cart" (the vehicle that conveyed both leaders during one of the procession in November, 1929).
The case was draged to court and the court decided that Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel and her supporters should retain the original name Cherubim and Seraphim Society (Egbe Mimo Kerubu ati Serafu) while Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase later called his new group Egbe It's Balogun Praying Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Society.
When the news of the Lagos rebellion got to the hither land where Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel had evangelised they dissociated themselves from the rebellion and formed the Western Conference of C & S (Ilu Meje ti ko si ninu ote Eko) the Seven town that are not involved in the rebellion, they are later known as Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, the church of the Supreme Head His Eminence Prophet Dr. S. A. Alao JP (the Supreme Head of C & S Unification)
The Ita Balogun Praying Band also break into two factions a year later in (1930) and the other part that broke out was named Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim. Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase was the leader of this group, he later died in 1933 at the age of 53years.
Thus the churches continue to break in fragments but the C & S Society of Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel had remained stable.
It must be noted that the crisis that rocked and splitted the Church had the gender of Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel's leadership as the nucleus but to the glory of God the Unification of Cherubim and Seraphim Churches ( which includes almost all the splitter groups) came together and decided in 1986 to ordained Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel the Olori, (Supreme Head) of C & S.

This should be an eye opener that young Abiodun Emanuel was never sick whereby Pa Moses Orimolade Tunolase will have to heal her as written by some writers.

At the end of the trance episode Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel and Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase teamed up to accomplish the great task of evangelism for Christ who has brought them together and this was the basis for the formation of Cherubim and Seraphim Society, which was the translation of the Yoruba ( Egbe Mimo Kerubu ati Serafu).
In the union St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase played the role of a leader (being the elder close to fifty years) healer and prayerist, while Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel played the role of Visioner, healer, prayerist and preacher.
Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel's spiritual gift was so powerful that when there was any spiritual assignment, Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase was fond of this saying " Omo away kini won ni ki a se" "(Our child, what is the spiritual direction on this)".
Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel was know to have led evangelical missions from Lagos to many towns in the then Western Region of Nigeria like Age, Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode, Ile-Ife, Ilesha, Ondo and Ijaw areas in the Eastern parts of Nigeria.
It was her Spiritual poweress in healing the afflicted that later earned her the title of "Doctor" while the dexterity in her evangelism earned her the title "Captain", a team leader.
The Organization was formally named Seraphim Society through the grace said by Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel on September 9, 1925 and sometimes in March 1926, Cherubim was added through a dream by a foundation member and the name became Cherubim and Seraphim Society because Cherubim and Seraphim are twin angels in heaven.
Early in 1929, some disgruntled members of the Organization started a mutiny that set the two leaders against each other.
This was the beginning of the division.

TRUE HISTORY OF CHERUBIM & SERAPHIM SOCIETY
The chronological arrangement of the activities of any organization or group forms the history of such organization.
The church C & S Society was founded by divine Providence on June 18th 1925 by Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel (Nee Akinsowon) and Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase in Lagos Nigeria.
Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel was born on 25th December 1907 into the Family of Akinsowon. Her Father Pa Benjamin Akindele Akinsowon hailed from Abeokuta while the mother Mrs. Elizabeth Zingbe Akinsowon was from Port Novo in the present Republic of Benin.
Young Abiodun Emanuel was born into the Methodist church. At the age of seventeen and half years in June 18th 1925, She was caught in trance while watching the procession of the Catholic Church celebrating "Corpus Christi" she rushed back to her Saba Court residence where she was living with her aunt Mrs. Comfort Hunnu-Moiett, wife of Elder Williams Hunnu-Moiett who later became the first superintendent Apostle General of the C & S Society.
The result of the trance which was occasioned by a glance at the chalice carried by the Catholic Archbishop was completely a strange occurrence at that period as it was first of it's kind. So to find respite, Abiodun spoke audible in Yoruba language on the 21st day of her journey, her message was for her guidance to send for Moses Orimolade Tunolase, a popular prayerist and evangelist to seek spiritual explanation, St. Moses Orimolade Tunolase did not respond to this call until the third attempt because it was raining, but when Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel sent message saying he should not mind the rain that can only beat the flesh and not the soul. Miraculously, St. Moses Orimolade got to Saba Court during the rain without his clothes getting wet. The trance lasted for 21 days during which, according to Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel, she was led by her guardian angel "Holy Michael" throughout that period.

I know and believe that some us have come to realize the truth about the establishment of Cherubim and Seraphim church in 1925.
My question, what can we do as children of St. Christiana Abiodun Emanuel in bringing other off shoots of the church under one umbrella, not the Babas' but we the young ones.
We must start to build a solid relationships that will live beyond our own generation.
Let's leave aside whatever offenses anybody must have committed against Mama Abiodun, they have all gone and one day we will be joining them. But the legacy we laid will live outlive us.

We gathered on Monday 23rd December 2019 to celebrate your life after death, yes you have gone back to your creator, but your work lives after you.
A woman born with the bone and spirit of seven men, if not for your submission as a humble servant whom was taken on trance the Church Cherubim and Seraphim would have been established in another country, but through the will of God Almighty you were picked amongst all other virgins that excited during your time at the age of 17 and half years.
All C & S churches and other new generation churches including Celestial Church got their baptism through the establishment of Cherubim and Seraphim Society ( Egbe Kerubu ati Serafu ) which you were the founder. I salute your courage, your doggedness. When men who are up to the age of your father wants to bring you down and erased your existence in the great oder in 1929 after the establishment of the Church in 1925, you stood your ground, while the original name of the church was relinquished to you as the original founder.
I identify with the Lord and the great church, we celebrate you and continued where you left us in 1994.
Great was the work given to you, with the baptism and revival of Fire upon the church greater shall the work be and power of hell will not prevail over the Lord's church. Amen

There are fact that are hidden concerning the establishment of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Organisation.
Authors that wrote about books on Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase had affected the history of the Church negatively, they had sold lies to the public and the baits had been swallowed by our children which has affected their sense of judgement, they too are selling falsehood and this will also affects our unborn generation.
FACTS:- Do you know that the establishment took place in Lagos and not Ikare On do State.
Do you know that Christiana Abiodun a young lady then was not taken to Pa Moses Orimolade Tunolase for pray, it was Pa Moses Orimolade Tunolase that went to Saba Court were young Christiana Abiodun was on trance for 21 days in 1925. That was the foundation laid by God Almighty for the establishment of Cherubim and Seraphim.
Do you know that it was young Christiana Abiodun that planted most of the early Seraphs in some certain regions in Nigeria. She was given the title Captain by Pa Orimolade for her efforts in the propagations of the gospel.
Do you know that she was pulled down from the chart that carries the two icons during a possession by an envious male member.
Do you know that her persecutions by the male counterparts was because she was a woman, whose voice command's respects. Nothing is achieved spiritually without her presence, her was the mirror that Pa Orimolade sees with then.
Do you know that it was for this reason(s) that the church was divided in 1929.
Do you know that young Christiana Abiodun bears the original of the church after court intervention in the matter in 1929, while Pa Orimolade was told to sort out for his church's name and Praying Band of Cherubim and Seraphim was sorted for, there after within the same year conflict rose up again in Praying Band, Pa Orimolade pulled out to form Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim. And since then others started breaking up.

THE ARK OF COVENANT:- What you need to know. The Ark in Cherubim and Seraphim Society is the first, genuine and original amongst every other boxes you find everywhere being called ARK. This was the gift God promised Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel and Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase that five years after the establishment He God shall honour them with a gift which no one in their time has ever been given, is there anything impossible for our God to do? But unfortunately they did not survived five years before the catastrophes divided the organisation in 1925. Later on in 1930 the gift promised was given to Saint Christiana Abiodun Emanuel a young lady of 22 years which is the ARK in C & S Society as at today, out of envy other splinted groups tried to copy her by having theirs, a replica turning it into idolatry worship killing cows, rams, doves etc just to apiece it (an Idol).
But this was not how the original ARK given to Saint Abiodun a woman of substance is celebrated.
When next you need to see and feel the awesomeness of God and His power that resided in the ARK OF COVENANT come straight to Cherubim and Seraphim Society where the authentic dwells, General Headquarters 88/90, Okesuna Street Lafiaji, Lagos Nigeria.
The anniversary called RAMA is celebrated once a year November/December period with the Levites that bears the Ark of God, this anniversary is celebrated for two and half weeks with fun and pageantry. The great Icon died in November 1994 but her legacies remains and her Spirits still lives on.
What a great monument we have received let's guide it jealously, the image of this great Church must not be tarnished, let's live to uphold it.
