LOS ANGELES INFERNO

The city of Los Angeles is engulfed in raging flames.
Towns are wrapped in the Inferno’s Embrace.
Our hearts go out to those in areas affected.
Our fervent prayers to the Creator have ascended.
*
Amidst the city’s palaces and palm-fringed streets,
Where the sun and the picturesque coastline meet.
There started an enormous blaze of red and gold,
A firestorm began fanned by Santa Ana’s winds untold.
*
The Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst suffered tremendous damage.
The fiery wrath showed no mercy during the carnage.
The raging flames devoured hillsides, vegetation, and pine,
The fire’s hunger was insatiable and its fury unconfined.
*
Homes and memories crumbled and turned to ash.
Families fled with heavy hearts in a daring dash.
Some wept for their lost homes but thanked the Almighty.
They escaped with their lives from the fire oh so scary!
*
Firefighters and valiant men battled against the fury.
With scorched boots and eyes stung by smoke’s cruelty.
From Canada and Mexico, allies arrived from the borders,
To quell the flames and ease the danger.
*
Amidst the burning questions, a community stands strong,
They support one another, singing heavenly songs.
When faced with tragedy love knows no boundaries.
God always answers the prayers of those who seek Him diligently.

Michael Jackson's Legacy

"I wanna make it clear that Michael Jackson was never into lîttle kids and he never changed his color, he just had Vitiligo. All the negatîve stûff y'all saw about Michael Jackson was made up." Akon

"Michael Jackson was a very good friend of mine and we used to have regular casual conversations just like friends will do. Michael Jackson was human just like us too, he liked everything we liked. He wasn't into thick womęn, he liked womęn who were super models. Michael Jackson was never into little kids. They monitored him all the time so they could get something to use agaînst him and when they discovered that he was clean and they had nothing on him, they brought up that story because they used to see him with kids. And I also wanna make it clear that Michael Jackson never changed his color too, like I mean he had Vitiligo. Vitiligo is a condition where the pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing whitish patches and sometimes leads to complete lõss of milanin, often with no clear cause. It can happen to me, it can happen to you. So they figured that Africans didn't know much about Vitiligo at the time and then they brought up the story that he hatęd who he was just so blacks could hâte him.

I am saying this because Michael Jackson's legacy has to be protectęd. The times that he used to speak like kids was genuine because alot of kids looked up to him and he wanted them to grow to be the best they could be. Each and every one of us has to take it as a responsibility to protęct Michael Jackson's legacy because we're never gonna get another Michael Jackson again."

It's a shame....can't these guys take a cue from the music industry?

Basketmouth takes swipe at Nollywood Producers

Nigerian comedian and filmmaker, Basketmouth has accused Nollywood producers of mismanaging funds allocated by global streaming platforms, claiming that their actions have negatively impacted the quality of Nigerian films.

Speaking in a recent interview on Arise TV, the entertainer alleged that many producers misuse substantial portions of the budgets provided for movie production, diverting the funds for personal gain.

According to him, only a small fraction of the funds is utilized for actual filmmaking.

“When the streaming platforms came in, they gave money to these producers, and I’ll tell you point blank: these producers would take the money—$1.5 million or whatever they give them—and use about 10% of that money to make the movie,” he said.

Basketmouth further claimed that streaming platforms, upon discovering these alleged malpractices, decided to pay actors directly to ensure transparency.

However, producers reportedly devised a way to continue the fraudulent activity by coercing actors into returning part of their pay.

“Even to the point where the streaming platforms stepped in and said, ‘You know what? We are going to be paying the actors directly,’ these guys would still go behind and tell the actors to pay half of that money back to them. You can verify the information anywhere,” he added.

The filmmaker argued that the mismanagement of funds has significantly affected the quality of Nollywood films, with some epic productions appearing substandard.

“So, when you do that and expect your movie to be 100%, it can’t. It’s impossible. But these guys? They’ll cut, buy houses, buy cars. And that’s why when you see our movies, some of our epic movies look like stage plays,” Basketmouth lamented.

Mad In Your Love
Me born to sing a love song of beauty
To fill void of my heart, with you sweetie.
The heaven is not so far away from me
When wings of love, are there for us, you see.

Ready to surrender to your superiority
To enjoy a defeat, glorious than victory.
When I talk about your love, dear
I retain power to hold the universe, so clear.

Gently passionate kiss of my thirsty lips
Definitely evokes wild dream inside you.
Indeed, I need some body like you
To create a meaning of life, I due.

Let me listen melody of your heart beats
To harmonise rhythms of my heart with you.
So sweet and lovely, you seem to me
When weight of your body lies above me.

Allow me,to drink your beauty with my eyes
Thinking of those days, I enjoy pain of cries.
A mad feels glorious to be called
An Architector, for shape body he mesured

A Federal High Court in Lagos has dismissed a fundamental rights suit filed by Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky had sought N200 million from the EFCC for “psychotic trauma” and demanded N1 billion from the National Assembly for the “violation of his right to a fair hearing.”

He also urged the court to restrain the EFCC and the National Assembly from “harassing, detaining, or declaring him wanted.”

Bobrisky has been embroiled in controversy after social media influencer Martins Otse leaked an audio recording alleging that he paid the EFCC N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.

Delivering judgement on the case, Justice Alexander Owoeye ruled on November 28, that Bobrisky’s claims of rights violations lacked merit and were unsupported by credible evidence.

The EFCC’s spokesman, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

“Having evaluated the evidence placed before this Court by the Applicant, it is evident that the Applicant has failed to provide credible evidence to justify the award of the declaratory and injunctive reliefs sought by him,” the judge ruled.

“I hold that the claims of violation of fundamental rights against the 1st and 2nd Respondents were not made out of the affidavit evidence placed before this Court.

"The Applicant’s claims against the 1st and 2nd Respondents lack merit and are accordingly dismissed.”

Justice Owoeye also refused to award damages against the EFCC.

A lesson from the world's biggest giant:
In 2018, when the whole world thought Tesla was going bankrupt:
- Mercedes predicted: "It will go bankrupt by summer"
- BMW said: "They will never mass produce"
- Wall Street affirmed: "Production nightmare"
Then Elon Musk decided to move into the factory, bringing his determination and his pillow.

What happened next surprised every CEO.

Tesla not only survived, but also exploded strongly from the abyss
The change was really drastic:

- Musk personally inspected each production station.

- Rewrote software code when necessary.

- Fired managers who did not share his vision immediately.

Called suppliers at 3am to get parts.

One night, workers even found him covered in oil while repairing a Model 3 that other engineers had "given up".

- Elon told the engineers: "Either we fix it or we die."
The laughter in the auto industry began to stop when the numbers came in:
- First week: 202 Model 3s.
- Third month: 5,000 per week.
- End of year: First profitable quarter.

Tesla went from being ridiculed to a real threat, transforming itself into a real threat that began to make the entire industry wary.

"It was a very painful time. I don't know, but I was probably a little crazy," Elon shared.
Traditional automakers had:
- Over 100 years of experience.
- Billions of dollars in cash reserves.
- Strong global supply chains.
- Deep political connections.

Today?
Tesla is worth more than Toyota, GM, Ford, and BMW combined.
In just a few years, Elon Musk has turned a mocked company into an automotive giant, proving that perseverance and vision can change an entire industry.💎

Show him some love 💕💕💕💕💕.

How much of an impact can you make by touching a life?

In the 1990s, Denzel Washington paid the tuition fees of a poor but very talented boy who had no money to attend Oxford's summer drama program
This boy's name was Chadwick Boseman.
Twenty years later, Chadwick publicly and personally thanked Denzel at the 2019 AFI Life Achievement Awards ceremony, after telling his story in full.
The audience, therefore, paid tribute to the famous actor with several minutes of applause.

What is the dark truth of life that many people are not ready to discover?

In 1986, Maradona wore a T-shirt that said "No Drugs" and Platini "No Corruption"...
Years later, Maradona died of an overdose and Platini was arrested for corruption.
And Pele?
Well, Pelé didn't wear a T-shirt with a message, but at the end of his professional career, he said that the world should take better care of children...
A few years later, he did not recognize his legitimate daughter.
Moral of the story:
Humans are hypocrites by nature, so stop idolizing the wrong people.
A football star is just a football star!
That is all

DID YOU KNOW WHY FELA KUTI MARRIED 27 WOMEN ON THE SAME DAY IN 1978?
Get the gist.....
In 1978, the pioneer of Afrobeats, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, married 27 women in one day. This should not be strange to those who know the life and style of the Nigerian music legend nicknamed Abami Eda (strange creature).
Many of Fela’s band members became homeless after the devastating soldier attack on Fela’s commune (Kalakuta Republic) in 1977. In order to keep them together, Fela decided to do the unusual.
He gave a piece of paper to his female band members requesting the names of those that would like to marry him; the entire twenty-seven female band members put down their names.
After getting their consent, Fela Kuti married the 27 women on the 20th of February, 1978, at the Parisona Hotel in Anthony, Lagos, with the blessings of twelve Ifa priests. It was alleged that some parents of the ladies objected the marriage.
Fela married the women to protect and keep them together. The marriage ceremony was attended by Fela’s families, friends and other band members.
During the marriage ceremony, Fela rendered a short speech, pressed naira notes on his new wives’ foreheads and gave them marriage certificates. Fela embraced a rotation system of 12 wives at a time. After the marriage, Fela took his 27 wives to Ghana for honeymoon.
However, in 1986, shortly after his release from prison, Fela Kuti divorced his 27 wives on the claim that marriage brings jealousy. It should be noted that they were not forced to leave his house after the divorce; some lived with him till his death in 1997.
