📌 I don't know who needs to hear this but you can't pray enough, submit enough, or fake respect for him enough to change his heart. Yes, God does work miracles, but we have to CHOOSE to yield our hearts in order for that kind of transformation to happen.

God won't force someone to heal, change, stop cheating, or stop abusing. If a pastor, a counselor, or anyone else is telling you that if you'll just be a better wife, that God will heal your marriage, they are LYING to you. God is not some cruel manipulator, waiting for you to be "good enough" to deserve not to be abused. You don't deserve to be abused and you can't change him.

Side note: it's very upsetting, but yes this is advice that is commonly given by pastors, and even Christian counselors.

Actually, once you buy a second hand car that had many previous owners who misused it, you will have to accept that you will not be the only driver who will will be driving throughout its life time. Mechanics will drive it most of the time and it will spend most nights at workshops. It will also drain you financially and emotionally.
The worst thing is that, old owners may still cúm to borrow it anytime they may need it.
Again, at times, you will see other drivers flashing lights at you when you are with it because they recognise the car.

The Oriental Brothers International Band was the first Nigerian highlife group formed after the devastating three-year civil war that left the East, where they came from, in ruins. Their name, “Oriental,” reflects their roots in the East. The band started as an in-house band at Easy Going Hotels in Owerri, owned by Chief James “Ewele” Azubuike. They became famous, lasting decades in the Igbo Highlife music scene, touring Africa and beyond.

The band originally had five members:

- Godwin Kabaka Opara
- Ferdinand Dansatch Emeka Opara
- Livinus Akwilla Alaribe
- Fred Ahumaraeze
- Chris Ezebuiro Obinna, popularly known as Dr. Sir Warrior

In 1977, the band experienced its first split when founding member and leader Godwin Opara left to start his own band. Livinus and Fred followed, leaving Dansatch and Sir Warrior to continue. They recruited freelance musicians from Owerri and migrants from Ghana, leading to a string of hits.

After their 1980 hit album “Obi Nwanne,” a disagreement between Dansatch and Sir Warrior caused them to part ways. Sir Warrior kept the core of the band’s musicians and renamed the band “Dr. Sir Warrior & His Oriental Brothers International Band,” while Dansatch continued as “Oriental Brothers International Band” led by Ferdinand Emeka Opara. Though they had distinct sounds, both bands shared a love for blending Eastern Africa’s Congolese guitar rhythms with traditional Igbo percussion.

The Oriental Brothers played a significant role in uplifting the spirits of the Igbo people after the war, becoming a source of pride. Warrior, one of the most influential musicians from the East, introduced the “Oyorima” concept, an Igbo word that means a refined feeling of rhythmic movement and balance.

Some of their hits include “Kelechi,” “Ibezim Akor,” “Amaghim Onye wu Onye,” “Nwanyi Di Ya wu Eze,” “Onye Si Nani Ya Biri,” “Nwa Ada Di Mma,” “Obi Nwanne,” “Ozo wu Iwe m,” “Anam Ele Chi,” “Ochichi Nigeria,” “Ofe Owerri,” and many others.

This Car. Hmmm!
I may not fall for the aesthetical quality of the dashboard but generally, it's a good ride for me!

There is a way some of us regard this Car which others may not even know.

SPIDER as it's locally addressed, is one Car that would not go out of ‘fashion’ even in the next 10 years. Don't be surprised that in 2034, the Spider would still be in its own way a classic ride. Spider would still be there when her mates are out of the Class.

Spider won't be necessarily there for the competition, because I believe ‘ the beautiful ones are not yet born’ but she would be there at least for reliability sake.

This 011 model the way I see it, might outshine the 014-016 models in the near future.

Aesthetics in Cars is not just about deciding to create sleek things in the image and likeness of frogs, but knowing where and how to make unforgettable signatures.

Not everyone likes their Cars small and ugly. I like them beautiful and powerful. This is why the large sized Camry (spider) would always stand out, speaking volumes in a meeting of some yesteryear Cars.

AVALON may only come close to the SPIDER with the newer models.

The TOYOTA Camry remains to be the choice of sedans to many because logically, she's the empress of all Toyota Sedans.

It's not about being addicted to anything that bears the TOYOTA logo; anyone who makes the Spider his first choice of Car is still not in the wrong.

No matter how terrible your maintainance culture could be, the Spider still spares you some chance to turn a new leaf.

My love for Camry however, started and ended with the SPIDER, not that other Camrys are bad but because many other Cars out there have also stolen my heart. It can be said that I'm Car polygamous. I can't love only one brand as some of my readers here portray themselves to be doing, and are even willing to go to jail for it.

Rudeboy failed to realize that, as kids, we didn't pay attention to the lyrics or vocals to know who was singing. We were captivated by the dance moves and entertainment.

I've watched clips where Rudeboy would ask fans who they loved more, and in interviews, he'd take all the credit. Meanwhile, Mr. P never sought to take the spotlight.

My love for Mr. P grew as I realized he wrote some of Psquare's most trending songs, like "Bizzy Body", "Personally", "Alingo", and "Gimme Dat".

Rudeboy never acknowledged Mr. P's unique value - his captivating dance moves, handsome looks, and cool demeanor.

The question remains: is Rudeboy or Mr. P bigger than Psquare? The answer is no, because Psquare was never just Rudeboy or Mr. P, but the combination of both.

Woman Slumps & Dies While Preparing Breakfast For Her Family In Port Harcourt (Photo)

A Port Harcourt based Businesswoman, Amarachi Okpala, has slumped and died in the kitchen while preparing breakfast for her family.

According To Media Personality, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, the incident happened on Saturday Morning, August 3, 2024.

Her husband found her unconscious and rushed her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

“Just like that. We have a slumping epidemic in our country people and this is becoming worrying at this stage. I don’t know if it is the water we drink or the food we consume that is the trigger of this slumping epidemic but it is worrying. May her soul rest in peace,” he added.

Meanwhile, Friends And Acquaintances have taken to social media to mourn her.

“Rest in peace is hard for me to type Amarachi Okpala. Who did you leave your little kids for. My beloved friend, how can you slump and kpai in your kitchen,” one Rose wrote.

Omade Enyi: “It’s quite painful and disheartening to lose young people in their prime.. I am not insinuating that the cause of this lady’s death is cardiac related, but most likely it is cardiac related as most sudden deaths are cardiac related. Stop ignoring those chest pains you are having and seek for medical advice. The earlier the better as cardiac problems can also be hereditary. Ignore chest pains and palpitations at your own peril.”
