*ABU School Of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS) admission 2021/2022*

Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Basic (IJMB) and Remedial programmes for 2021/2022 Session. Sale of School of Basic and Remedial Studies of Ahmadu Bello University, Funtua admission forms has commenced.
Basic (IJMB) Studies Programme
*i. Candidates for this programme must possess a minimum offive (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings with any of the following subject combinations:*
BS1: Biology, Chemistry, Physics;

BS2: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics;
BS3: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics;
*ii. Candidates admitted for the Basic Studies Programme are also expected to register for 2022 JAMB Direct Entry Admission.*
iii. The duration of the Basic Studies Programme is twelve (12) months only.

ABU Remedial Admission Requirements.

Remedial Studies Programme
*i. Candidates for this programme must possess at least three (3) credits in science subjects (in not more than one sitting) with any of the under listed subject combinations and any two passes at ‘O’ level in the other subjects offered in the school.*
RS1: Biology, Chemistry, Geography;

RS2: Biology, Chemistry, Physics;

RS3: Biology, Geography, Physics;

RS4: Chemistry, Geography, Physics.
ii. Candidates admitted for the Remedial Studies must register and pass at credit level the SSCE or NECO in the subjects they are deficient.
*iii. Candidates must also register for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the minimum pass mark approved by the Federal Government and must choose Ahmadu Bello University as first choice.*
iv. The duration of the Remedial Studies Programme is twelve (12) months only

*FACT CHECK ON ABU ZARIA 2021 POST UTME REGISTRATION*

There has been widespread rumour that Ahmadu Bello University Zaria has commenced sales of Post UTME form for the 2021/2022 session.

Verifiable information at the moment reveals that this is not true. Though the portal for Post UTME Registration is on, it is not for the 2021 UTME and DE Candidates.

The portal has been opened since October last year for 2020 applicants and has not been closed since then as the university plans to merge the two sets of applicants. However, the data of the 2021 candidates haven't been integrated into the system.

Candidates are therefore advised not to panic but await the official bulletin showing when the Post UTME Registration form for 2021 candidates would be on sale.

UN publishes 1st quarter Demography Report 2019

There are 7.8Billion people on planet . (earth).
The report shows:-

Women = 5.6Billion,
Men = 2.2Billion.

So, as advised, women are to be careful in showing attitudes to any man because out of the 2.2 Billion men:

• One billion are married already.
• 130 million are in prison.
• 70 million are mentally ill.

That means that we have just about 1 billion men available for marriage and out of the
1billion:

• 50% are jobless
• 3% are gay
• 5% are Catholic Priests
• 10% are your relatives
• 32% are above 66years.

So, ladies both the married and singles should handle men with respect
