The Taraba State University (TSU) chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its industrial action, effective immediately.

Members are directed to resume academic duties forthwith.

ASUU-TSU Strikes Amidst Exams, Students' Fate Hangs in Balance | Wande Hype Media

Taraba Youths Hail Governor Kefas Over New Minimum Wage Payment | Wande Hype Media

Taraba State Governor, His Excellency, Agbu Kefas, has received accolades from the Taraba Youths Round Table Initiative for fulfilling his promise to pay the new minimum wage to civil servants in the state.

The youths, comprising members from various local government areas, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Governor Kefas for his commitment to improving the lives of ordinary citizens in Taraba State.

According to the convener of the initiative, Hon. Disebe S Bala Donga, "By paying the new minimum wage, Governor Kefas has shown that he is dedicated to ensuring that civil servants receive a fair and decent income."

The governor's gesture is particularly significant given the current economic challenges faced by the country, marked by rising food and transportation costs.

The Taraba Youths Round Table Initiative has urged Governor Kefas to continue his good work and explore innovative solutions to alleviate the suffering of Tarabans.
