"My Husband's Pride".
Episode 2: Secrets and Suspicions
As the days passed, Lyra found herself growing more and more comfortable in her new role as Kael's wife. The villagers, who had initially been wary of the stranger, had begun to warm up to him, and Lyra's family had welcomed him with open arms.
But despite the surface-level harmony, Lyra couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Kael was still distant and guarded, and Lyra had yet to see him truly smile. She began to wonder if he was hiding something from her, something that could threaten their fragile new marriage.

Kael set his fork down, his movements deliberate. "What makes you think that?" he asked, his voice measured. Lyra hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But something about Kael's demeanor put her on edge.
"I don't know," Lyra admitted. "It's just a feeling I have. You seem... distant. Preoccupied." Kael's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze intense. For a moment, Lyra felt like he was staring right through her.
Then, his expression softened, and he looked away. "I'm sorry, Lyra," he said, his voice low. "I've just had a lot on my mind lately. It's nothing for you to worry about." Lyra wasn't convinced, but she let the matter drop. For now
