𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐛 📛
You get a lot of reviews in your message box, "You are doing well", "I see your endeavors here on Facebook, they are awesome". On and on it goes, thrilling you and almost knocking you off the bar. But, have you had a second thought on this or do you take it in as mere congratulatory messages? Whatever be your answer, you should not forget that SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE.
Just as this phrase was coined; Tortoise and the Hare being friends got into a race to prove which animal was the fastest of the both. The Hare went about telling all who cared to listen it sure would win the race. As the days rolled by, the anticipated day for the race reached and the both animals were set to take off.
Even as the competition was about to start, discouragements were still rolling in to make the Tortoise have a change of mind. Some animals even shoved his flaw to his face (being a slow animal) ranting all their tantrums. Not taking heed, it persisted in running the race.
Midway, the Hare looked back to see the Tortoise at a far distance behind, it choose to take rest calculating that by the time the Tortoise must have crawled to his position, it would have regained enough strength to finish the race. The Tortoise being a tricky animal, reached the Hare's position and sauntered past quietly. Thus, it continued till it won the race.

📚 Dear Writer, you might have received numerous words of discouragement, tantrums or even encouragement, congratulatory messages and what have you!? In this state it is either you keep striving or you become so full of yourself and your achievements, allowing pride steal your success.
📚 Most writers have been caught in this web of flattering, that all they seem to assert now is that they have done enough and should take rest. Behaving like the Hare, who thought that of a surety the win is its. Taking rests where they are required to put in more efforts.
📚 You receiving these tons of message is to encourage you to do more and not a criteria for you to think that you have arrived. We learn every day and upgrade our knowledge, so, taking a rest can mar all the efforts you have struggled to build.
📚 Don't be like the Hare, stopping when you should be moving but take up the Tortoise personality that strived and assured itself that notwithstanding being a slow animal there is still a chance for it to win.
📚 Keep being consistent, always show up but don't quench your fire by overdoing it.
