*Prof Jibril back as Kwara SSG, Prince Mahe now CoS as Kwara Gov inaugurates top officials*
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) on Friday inaugurated three top officials of the government, with Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril returning as the Secretary to the State Government.
The Governor swore in Prince AbdulKadir Aliyu Mahe, who was until Friday afternoon the SSG, as the new Chief of Staff (CoS).
The Governor similarly inaugurated Barrister Murtala Sambo as the Special Adviser on Legal Matters, the position he occupied until May 29, 2023 when the last dispensation wound down.
The Governor urged the new officials to be people-centric as they embarked on their official duties.
His words: "The tasks ahead are truly enormous. I urge you to be transparent, loyal, and be propelled only by public interest.
"We want to leave a legacy of improved well-being of our people, especially human capital development. Kwara is now a reference point in many positive areas. Our goal is to beat our own records positively.
"At this time of national belt tightening, I urge all of you to act in a way that reflects the current realities of our country.
"As senior government officials, you have a task to properly coordinate officials and the business of government and ensure harmonious relationships between the government and the people.
"I congratulate you and wish you God's guidance and protection in the service of our people."
Jibril, in his response to their inauguration, thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in them and prayed to God to guide him and make the administration succeed in all ramifications.
The swearing-in was attended by a few government officials, including House of Representatives member (Ilorin East/South) Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko.

Abdulganiy Abdulquawiy Olododo, the newly confirmed Honorable Commissioner to his Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
The Rt. Hon. Speaker made this known during screening and confirmation session of commissioner nominees at the kwara State House of Assembly in ilorin yesterday and he commended the good performance of Hon, Abdulquawiy Olododo as he perform excellent during his office as SA Agriculture and Ag. GM of KWASSIP.
However, Hon, Abdulquawiy Olododo said “I thanks to Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for finding me worthy by giving me this opportunity. I assure to retain and maintain cordial relationship with the KWHA. I promise to uphold the morals and discharge my duty diligently and responsibly” and he concluded his statements at house plenary by saying “ALHAMDULLILAHI”.

Joy overflow as Kwara State Government commences payment of arrears of gratuity for at least 1,025 local government pensioners, who retired from Service between 2009 and 2010 in the state.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has continued to make life bearable for all categories of citizens since he assumed office in 2019.
Speaking in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, at the flag-off ceremony of the exercise, AbdulRazaq said his administration, upon assumption of office, set up machinery to restore the lost glory of the system, most especially prompt payment of salaries, pension, and continuous release of funds for gratuity payments as a way of changing the narrative for better.
"Distinguished senior citizens, you are all aware of the pathetic situation the present administration met on ground most especially the local government administration where salaries, pension, and gratuity payments were not assured, and even when they were paid it’s usually amputated (Geri- Gedi)," the Governor said.
