Popular Ibadan Politician, Adegoke Adelabu, is often mentioned in Yorùbá and Nigerian history as the author of the expression: "penkelemesi", a Yorubanisation of the phrase, "peculiar mess" which Adelabu, known for his deep knowledge of English, had used on an occasion to describe the opposition in the Western Region House of Assembly.
On 25 March 1958, Adelabu died in a car accident, It was on a straight stretch of road between Ode-Remo and Iperu.

He was returning from Lagos along with his Lebanese businessman, Albert Younan, when their car hit an oncoming vehicle. His death sparked riots across Ìbàdàn as he was rumored to have been killed by the opposition party.

Actor Itele humbled as Nigerians react to Jagun Jagun
Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele has being humbled by Nigerians with their reactions to Femi Adebayo’s epic movie, Jagun Jagun, which premiered on Netflix yesterday.

Itele shared photos from his role as Gbotija in the movie, which a grateful message to critics who acknowledged his excellent skill.

Sharing the photos on his verified Instagram page, Itele pledged to continue to please his fans, stating he is grateful for the accolades.

The actor also notified his fans about his movie, KESARI the King coming to the cinemas
