In a small village rich with customs and values in the Eastern part of Nigeria in West Africa... Ebonyi state.

A polygamous home headed by a popular palm wine tapper in the early 1960s.
Ofia is a well-known palm wine tapper in a small village called Ndi Agu.
Ofia is a successful palm wine tapper who was richly blessed with wisdom and riches.

Ofia had just a wife named Ujunwa who happens to be the only daughter of Chief Uneke who was the king of Ndi Agu village.
Ujunwa was known as a woman filled with pride just because her father was the king.

After five years of her fruitless in marriage, Ofia was forced to get second wife who will give him a child. It was believed that Ujunwa wickedness caused her barrenness but she never take heed.
Ofia had no choice than to succumb to the pressure of the family.

Nworie ( second wife ) came into the family barely one year and gave birth to a male child. Ujunwa ( first wife ) cried and offered some sacrifices to her chi to allow her to conceive and few months later she conceived and gave birth to a male son.

Now Ujunwa expected her husband Ofia to celebrate her son naming ceremony more than the way he celebrated Nworie's son but such never happened. This act fueled the wickedness and anger in Ujunwa's heart. In the evening of that day of the naming ceremony, Ofia in the company of his friends talked happily under the influence of palm wine in his system, he told his friends that Nworie's son is going to be his heir because of Ujunwa's wickedness and the fear of transferring the act to her son too.
Unknowing to Ofia, Ujunwa was hiding at the back of the hut, hearing their discussion of her husband.

Ever since then, the home of Ofia became the house 🏠 on fire 🔥. The two wivies on each others loggerhead, fighting on silly things all because Ofia named his heir while still alive. These misunderstanding and fighting happens occasionally and Ofia does nothing to stop the fight between the two women......
