WHILE MEN SLEPT: CHURCH LEADERS REALITY CHECK

Almighty God, whose word is quick, powerful and sharper than two-edged sword. Grant us grace to receive thy truth in Faith and love through Christ Jesus. Amen

Christianity as default is gone and it shows that most denominations are not impacting this generation with the needed gospel in a significant way, which will trigger a massive reduction in the size of the church.

Church leaders round the world are faced with the fact that youth in their churches are increasingly addicted to technology, social Media, and the influence of media without morals. It has become harder to reach them and we can unarguably see the effects in our community, families, and in our weekly church attendance.

As we all know, youth are the leaders of tomorrow [Next Generation] but church leaders of today are the leaders of this present generation. Think about this, without the youth filling the pews, worshipping Jesus, who will be in those pews in some years to come?. In order to make a dramatic shift, it will demand that church leaders digest these.......

The mission of the church is to restore all people to unity with God and to each other in Christ Jesus the Lord (BCP).

Today, where's preaching to restore? Where's preaching to salvation? Where's preaching to revive? Where's that unity with each other and unity with God the Most High? But the preaching contents is highly categorised (Prosperity, politics, and others). The church pursue it's mission as it prays and worships, proclaims the Gospel, and promotes justice, peace and love.

Church leaders should let Christians know that the Christian hope is to live with confidence in newness and fullness of life and await the second coming of Christ in Glory and the completion of God's purpose for the world. Come to Jesus, be saved and inherit life eternal not come to Jesus and be prosperous alone. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God". Church leaders should take the church back to default - Redemption is the act of God which sets us free from the power of evil, sin, and death.

Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation...... Psalm 85 v 7
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven..... Psalm 85 v 11

LET THE MIGHTY MAN WAKE UP, REVIVE AND RESTORE THE CHURCH AS THE PERILOUS TIME IS HERE.
