“Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win. He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.”

“As my brother, I wish him well and even pray for him. I told him during his courtesy call that my prayer is that himself or Prof Umeadi of APGA would win, why not? That is from my heart, but I also told him that my head and facts on the ground led me to know that it’s probability is next to zero (what I cannot say before you, I won’t say behind you). So I already told him my opinion. Indeed, there is no credible pathway for him near the first two positions, and if care is not taken, he won’t even near the third position.

2023: Change May Not Come If You Don't Vote – Pastor Enenche Tells Nigerians

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC has stated that Nigerians interested in change may not get it if they do not come out to vote.

The man of God urged Nigerians to ensure that they obtain their Permanent Voters Card, PVC ahead of the 2023 elections.

The man of God who spoke in a video making the rounds on social media said Nigeria is at a great junction of the possibility of a complete change.

The clergy, however, said the agitation and prayers offered to God for change may not yield the desired result if eligible voters fail to get their PVCs and participate in the election.

He said, “We are praying, believing and trusting God for change, we are speaking and shouting out for Change, we are walking and marching doing all the things for change but all those mean nothing, they are insignificant and irrelevant when action is not taken when action is needed.

“On this note, I call on the people of our dear nation to go and ensure that you get your PVC, do everything it takes, you are registered, you are eligible, get your PVC so that when the action is needed, the right action can be taken and the right outcome will be expected.”

2023 Presidency Between Peter Obi, Atiku, God’ll Decide Our President – Primate Ayodele

The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has sent a message to presidential candidates ahead of the 2023 election.

According to Ayodele, the 2023 presidential election is between the Labour Party, LP, candidate, Peter Obi, and his counterpart from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

This was as Primate Ayodele declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was out of the struggle for the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking with DAILY POST, Ayodele noted that God would decide who becomes the next president of Nigeria.

He stressed that God would not look at any religion or zone in deciding Nigeria’s next president.

According to Ayodele: “2023 is between Peter Obi and Atiku; they are the ones struggling for it. I don’t see Tinubu getting anywhere. These are the two people seriously struggling for the 2023 election.

“Nigerians must be careful with the 2023 elections because anything can happen; the election may cause problems or chaos, and it’s more sensitive than what we have seen before.

“God is not looking at religion or any zone, and he does not want a Muslim-Muslim ticket. God will pick between these two candidates that are struggling; it’s a big struggle. The struggle as it is now is between Obi and Atiku.

“Nigeria is going to be better but not total; Nigeria is damaged, and they will only get to put it back. The next government would be better than the previous one.

“People will come out en mass to vote BVAS will be a major problem and INEC must work on it, INEC doesn’t want to do rig. It’s going to be a very credible election, but there may be some fighting, however, the election will not be a usual election.”

I did not call Peter Obi saboteur in Ghana - Ihedioha

Former Imo Governor Emeka Ihedioha has denied calling the presidential candidate of the Labour Party Peter Obi or anybody supporting him a saboteur.

Ihedioha said this in a statement by his media aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu on Wednesday.

Ihedioha, while in Accra, Ghana to celebrate this year's Iri Ji festival with the Mbaise community was quoted to have derided anybody who votes for Obi instead of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar as a saboteur.

The statement attributed to the Mbutu Mbaise-born former Deputy Speaker drew the ire of Imo residents.
However, Ihedioha denied ever referring to Obi as a saboteur, saying Obi was his long-time friend with whom he shared close political affinity.

The statement reads: "Few days ago, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, on the invitation of his kinsmen, was in Accra, Ghana to celebrate this year's Iri Ji festival with the Mbaise community in that country.

"As a founding member and one of the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, he seized the opportunity of that visit to address PDP issues nationally but particularly in Imo State and assuage the anxiety of the members of his party who have been apprehensive of the developments within the party.

"In doing so, he decried what at best is the insouciant attitude and worse, the outright sabotage of some acclaimed party leaders who are engaging in acts that are inimical to the success of the PDP, especially in the Southeast by working in cahoots with the other parties. He was only talking about members of his own political party.

"For clarity purposes, His Excellency, neither referred to members of any other political party, especially the Labour Party as saboteurs. He only spoke in the context of the PDP and the emphasis was on the need for members of his party to remain consistent and committed."

Nigerians Marching For Peter Obi Are Hungry People Paid N1k – Dino Melaye

PDP Presidential Campaign Committee spokesperson, Dino Melaye has rubbished the nationwide rallies organised in support of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The former lawmaker said the so-called Obi supporters were just hungry Nigerians paid N1,000 to N,2000 and assembled to stand and say that they are ObiDients.

Melaye made the comment on Arise TV’s The Morning Show while reacting to the ObiDient rally that held over the weekend in Abuja.

According to him, the forthcoming presidential election is between the PDP candidate and the other flagbearers.

He added that the former Anambra governor’s presence at the recently concluded governorship election in Osun State is proof that all his ‘support’ cannot translate to votes.

He said; “Just like if you go to court they’ll say Federal Government vs Dino Melaye and others and this particular case you have Atiku Abubakar and others including the APC, Labour Party, SDP, NNPP all of them are others in this regard.

“And I want to tell you that to assemble crowd is just to bring out money. Mobilization is very very cheap in this country.

“People are hungry. If you go to Nyanya, Mararaba people were being loaded in buses from Lugbe and every part of the country to stand and say they’re supporting…let them to the election.

“I think Peter Obi was in Osun. He spoke in Osun, and we saw the result of the Labour Party in Osun – 2700 votes – while PDP was counting four hundred and something thousand votes…so it’s not about the commercial mobilization of the people.

“Nigerians are hungry definitely if you go to Mararaba today to say you need 5000 people with the blow of a whistle, they’ll assemble and collect their N1000 or N2000. It is not the match on the streets that will determine the votes.

“We’re talking of proper votes and Nigerians know that Atiku is speaking to the issues. We’re not on hype movements.”
