Contrary to popular assumption, Rita Edochie is not Yul Edochie's biological mother, nor is she the sister of his father. She became a member of the Edochie family through marriage to Yul Edochie's uncle, Tony Edochie, a situation analogous to the marriages of May Edochie and Juddy Austin. Although Rita's emotional investment in the situation, due to her co-marital relationship with May Edochie, is comprehensible, it is essential to acknowledge that the woman at the center of the controversy has expressed her desire to end the marriage.
Family conflicts are addressed through internal discussions, rather than public forums. Rita's decision to share family conflicts on social media is not a constructive approach. Notably, Yul's mother has maintained her silence regarding her youngest son's marital situation.
I recall Pete Edochie, Yul's father, being interviewed on a podcast about his son's marital issues. He tactfully responded by stating that the matter is in court and he cannot comment, potentially citing contempt of court. The interviewer respected his stance and moved on to another topic. Notably, May, who is at the center of the controversy, has remained silent. Instead, she has been utilizing the situation to her advantage, enriching and bettering herself. Conversely, Rita Edochie appears to be attempting to maintain the status quo, seemingly to entertain her followers. It is worth questioning why Rita Edochie feels compelled to speak when Yul's mother has remained silent.
Furthermore, it can be perceived as disrespectful to the entire Edochie family for a woman married into the family to publicly criticize the family on social media, rather than addressing internally as family
