A little advice ▶️🤝

Any relationship where you constantly have to fight for the affection and attention of your partner is destructive to your heart.

Flee!!! And never turn back

Someone who truly loves and care about you will not make you feel like you have to fight for attention.

Be with someone who creates time to be with you no matter what. Any relationship without communication is dead on arrival.

Today, know the difference between priority and option.

If he constantly communicates with you and all of a sudden changes and gives no tangible reason except excuses, you're not his/ her priority, but an option!

When love and care is not freely given but begged for, then there's no need to continue.

Managing conflict in relationships

Relationships are not always easy and you will sometimes meet conflict.

Difficult conversations may make us feel uncomfortable but the importance of being able to talk to friends, family and romantic partners about these things, it may even strengthen your relationship in the long run.

A good starting place is to let the other person know in advance that you want to talk. It helps if you both have time to prepare.

Once you both start talking if a comment upsets you, try and take a break, pause the conversation, and come back when you feel ready.

And remember, it is okay for you to put boundaries in place, to say ‘no’ when you’re not comfortable and to walk away if the relationship does not feel right to you.
