At this point, I am tired.
I am excited to have just completed editing a documentary video that happens to be one of the longest projects I have ever worked on. The video explores the business ideas and practices of the Ndi Igbo community.
When I first received this project, I knew it would be quite challenging to deliver the exceptional quality that was expected of me. However, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to work on such an exciting and rewarding project.
In preparing for editing this documentary, I spent a considerable amount of time researching and gathering resources. Through this process, I learned so much about the Igbo apprenticeship system, which was both enlightening and eye-opening.
Despite the challenges that came with working on this project, I had a lot of fun, and I am grateful for the experience. Video editing is an exciting and adventurous field, and I look forward to the new opportunities that this project will bring.

One of the biggest challenges Video editors face in this part of the world is getting the right PC/Laptop for the job. If price no tear your shirt, spec go pour you potopoto.
I get foreign clients easily that want long-term contracts with my services, but the challenge here is, that their videos are always shot in a very high quality (4k resolution) which a low-grade PC can't even attempt to edit or else, it would crash the drive.
Imagine me getting a PC that has the specifications of doing my kind of job just like this one here, trust me, I will make so much money in one year. No, I'm not kidding. I mean every word of it.
Well, I believe in miracles because miracle no dey tire Jesus.

Last week was the most challenging week of my career as a video editor. Having my PC crash many times in between work that was urgently needed traumatized me.
I was advised to go to PC technicians and see if they could fix it. I did. They said I needed a new drive. That the formal is weak. How much is it, sir? They said they would recommend the one of 500 GB sold for ₦12k.
What about my files in the weak drive, I questioned. They said they would recover all through an external drive. They assured me of having my files back. That they are safe.
After all said and done, this man said, he couldn't see any file again in the drive. It took me a couple of seconds to process what the man was saying.
Eventually, I completely lost every single file that was in the system. Both finished works that were yet to be sent out to my clients and raw videos that were yet to be edited. Sadly, most of these raw videos aren't with the owners again because they have moved them to my storage space and cleared them off their devices so they could get another.
Well, this is me making an open apology to everyone who had sent me their videos for editing through the connection and trust from here.

I understand your grievances of having trusted me to deliver within the short time we agreed but so sorry that I couldn't help the situation despite every effort I made. I have had to refund some clients.
At this point, I am getting a new PC. I won't be receiving any work henceforth until I have bought a new PC with specifications that could carry the kind of work I do excellently.

Well, this is me telling you that you can comfortably do that using the CapCut on your mobile phone. I stayed awake at midnight teaching a student of mine residing at a location that is 6 houses behind Nigeria time.
I took my time teaching him with examples of how to professionally remove the background of a video to a background that you want and yet the video will look real without nobody noticing.

This man Maazi Ogbonnaya Okoro II will never stop to amaze me.
This young man filled with both wisdom of ancient and modern just translated the almighty Physics textbook into the Igbo language.
I mean, he just published a Physics textbook written in Igbo. If you're a follower of this man here, you would believe me he is one person who shares so much insight about living an ideal life in realistic terms.
I need to remind you that while I was in secondary school, most of the Igbo-approved novels then that we read in junior classes, were written by him. If you read Igbo novels, you should be familiar with the name, Maazi Ogbonnaya Okoro. I was so delighted the day I found him on Facebook. The man I read most of his Igbo novels as a child.
I celebrate the brilliance of this man and his zeal to help for a better understanding of Physics which is considered as one of the hardest science courses.

Earlier today, I shared a screenshot from Grammarly on their assessment of my writings the previous week with my Whatsapp audience.
After a couple of responses from a few who reached out to me, I decided to throw more light on better use of such software and the likes of it.
While there are many advantages to using editing software like Grammarly, there are also some potential drawbacks to consider. One is that excessive reliance on such tools can strip away your unique voice and the human touch from your content, making it feel robotic and emotionless.
Editing software may not be able to catch certain nuances and stylistic choices that you may have wanted to communicate through your writing. As a result, it's important to strike a balance between using editing software and trusting your own judgment and intuition as a writer. After all, the best writing is infused with emotions and personality, not just flawless grammar.

I stay awake every day between 11 pm to 2 am using the MTN Pulse Midnight bundle to research, write, organize, and schedule all my posts to the time I want them to appear on the pages.

Something very funny happened between a prospective client and myself the day before yesterday night.
Here is the gist.
She came requesting my graphics design services. She needed a flyer calling for the audition for her film production. This audition is slated to hold tomorrow Saturday, 2nd March.
She sent a sample of a design she saw on Instagram and wanted me to replicate that particular flyer for her. I was to design the graphics and deliver it this morning. Btw, this discussion was held around 9 pm last night so I was to stay awake to design it.
She asked for the price, I told her. I was very considerate of the charge since that could be the first time I would be working for her.
She said no, that the price is too much just for a graphic design.
She started to tell me how she is also a graphic designer and could design her flyers but she decided to reach me to do this one because she loves the design she saw somewhere which was done by me.
I now said okay oh. Thank you for loving my design. Let me remove 1k for you. You can pay a lesser fee. The madam said no, that she won't pay. That, it is the amount she told me that she would pay. I said I can't deal with such a budget.
Madam left oh. This afternoon, I received a message notification. It was Madam. With an attached picture she said, "I designed it myself"
And then went on to ask me, "How is the design? Shey it's okay baa?
Me with nothing to say🌝🌝 I was left with no choice but to say, "Yes Ma, it's okay. Well done" with an accompanying emoji👏🏽
I wonder if she expected me to say no? No be me she go set up.😂

It's been a celebration week for FWC church on its 30th anniversary. They have employed my services to execute some projects for them on so many occasions.
