A man, Emmanuel Opoku, has been arrested by men of the Enugu state police command for allegedly pouring hot water on the breasts of his nursing wife.

The nursing mother with a three-month-old baby, was allegedly assaulted by Opoku after she asked him for money to purchase some food items.

The recent incident happened when she asked him for money to prepare food for the family, he blatantly refused and while she was making pap for the 3 months old baby, he proceeded to pour the hot water on her breast.

Mrs. K has been in excruciating pain, she stated that whenever she tries to breastfeed the baby her breast will start bleeding profusely.

Heart of Man deceitful and despicably wicked!
Somewhere in Anambra State the co**se of a Man who died of food poisoning after returning home from abroad after many years.

It was gathered that the Ambulance conveying the co**se reached the junction of his hometown and refused and the engine knocked. Native Doctors were invited pleading the dead man to go home and be buried in peace, at a point they used another car transferring the casket was transferred into it. After some 3minutes, the engine knocks again.

The youths had to bring down the casket and dragged the co**se out of the casket carried him home for proper burial.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has fixed August 4, 2020, as commencement for this year’s examination, according to Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, minister of state for education. The exercise is to run from 4th August to 5th September 2020.

At the presidential task force on COVID-19 briefing on Monday, Nwajiuba said the examination will end on September 5.

MAN STABS WIFE TO DEATH AND KILLED HIMSELF IN LAGOS.

This handsome man simply identified as Femi, stabbed his wife to death, and thereafter committed su***de in their home in Victory Park estate in Lagos state on Sunday, June 21.

According to residents of the estate, the couple moved into the estate three weeks ago with their two young children. Not much was known about the couple but just a day before the murder-su***de, they were spotted jogging together on Saturday night June 20.

However, on Sunday, the man who is said to have always questioned the paternity of their second child, stabbed his wife to death, and then took his own life.

A neighbor who spoke on condition of anonymity to LIB, said

On Sunday afternoon, neighbors close to the couple's apartment heard loud music emanating from their home and this lasted for many hours.

The neighbors went to the estate office to complain about the loud music and insisted the estate officials go there and caution the couple.

The estate authorities went to the couple's compound to appeal to them to turn down the volume of the music coming from their apartment.

They however met with the wife's sister who was downstairs with the couple's children. The sister immediately went upstairs so she can inform her sister and the husband about the complaint laid by the estate authorities. She knocked several times but got no response.

After waiting for so long, the sister and the estate officials decided to pull the door down. They were greeted by a horrific sight.

Apparently, the man had killed his wife. It is believed it was pre-meditated because when they got into the room, they saw different kinds of knives there. The woman's legs and hands were bound and her mouth shut with a cellotape. The husband used a clipper to shave her hair, stabbed her head, her eyes, stabbed her multiple times with different knives.

The scene was nothing short of a horror movie.

Spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana who confirmed the incident to LIB, said

It is true. Homicide detectives have sealed up the place. They have commenced investigation. The co**se of the man and the woman have been moved to the hospital for an autopsy.

Two kitchen knives were found there and two bottles of Sniper. The woman had injuries from stabbing while foams were coming out of the man's mouth who is suspected to have taken those Snipers.

Fathers Day To Forget At Ogbunike, Anambra State As Police Arrest Father Who Murdered His 2 Children, Injure His Own Father

On a day the world is celebrating father’s day, residents of Azu Ogbunike in Oyi LGA of Anambra State woke up to the horrifying news of the atrocious acts of a certain Mr. Ifeanyi Apusiobi, aged 34 years old who in the early morning of Sunday, 21st June 2020 allegedly ran amok in circumstances Anambra police say are “yet to be ascertained, and attacked two of his biological children namely; Chinecherem Apusiobi (female, 7 years old and Obinna Apusiobi, male, aged 5 years) with a wooden pistle on their heads while they were sleeping”.

In a bulletin issued early Sunday morning, SP Haruna Mohammed, Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Anambra State Police Command, said the “suspect equally used same object and injured his father, one Dominic Apusiobi aged 72 years old on the head”.

The police bulletin announced that Police operatives attached to Ogbunike Police Station arrested the suspect at about 1am this morning. “Police detectives visited the scene and rushed victims to the hospital for medical attention where the two children were certified dead by a medical doctor while the aged father is responding to treatment. Corpses deposited at Isienyi hospital morgue for autopsy. Exhibit recovered and case transferred to State CID Awka for discreet investigation”, SP Haruna said in the police bulletin.

The question everyone is asking is, what could have driven Ifeanyi Apusiobi to kill his biological children in such horrifying manner, and also attempt to murder his own father?

Hopefully, Anambra police command will unravel the mystery and ensure that justice is served, speedily too.

A young boy was left with re**al bleeding after he was allegedly battered by his father's wife-to-be with a log of wood in Anambra.

According to Uzoamaka Nwokolo who shared the story on Facebook, after battering the boy, the prospective stepmother dipped his hand in hot water, put pepper on the burnt hand and then locked him up in a room.

It was gathered that neighbours rescued the boy and rushed him to the hospital.

NEIGHBOUR RAPES 2 UNDERAGE SIBLINGS IN IMO STATE.

A 23-year-old man, Uchenna Mbahotu, has been arrested by the Imo State Police for allegedly defiling two underage sisters.
The suspect was living in the same compound with the 11 and 9-year-old sisters he allegedly abused, the Imo State Police spokesperson, Orlando Ikeokwu, said.
According to reports, he was trusted by the girls' parents, so, he abused that trust by allegedly abusing the girls sexually.

Ikeokwu, who said the suspect would be charged at the conclusion of investigation, stated that Mbahotu took advantage of his familiarity with the victims to defile them.

According to him, personnel of the Orji Police Divisional Headquarters arrested the suspect.
The PPRO stated, “On May 13, 2020, based on a report by the mother of the victims from Nkwo Orji, Owerri North Local Government Area of the state, operatives of the Divisional Police Headquarters, Orji, arrested one Uchenna Mbahotu, 23.

“The complainant reported that the said Uchenna Mbahotu defiled her two daughters, aged 11 and nine.
“She further stated that the suspect took advantage of the fact that her family allowed the kids to get close to him as a next door neighbour to perpetrate the evil act.

"However, medical examination conducted on both children revealed that only one was defiled.”

NEW CONFIRMED CASE OF COVID-19 IN ENUGU STATE

There is another newly confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in Enugu State.

This case is a nine year old child contact of the fourth case reported in Enugu who had positive travel history.

Thus the total number of cases ever reported in Enugu now rises to Nine (9) with seven (7) active cases.

The patient has been admitted into one of our Isolation and Treatment Centres, further contacts are being identified and line listed, and necessary samples will be taken for testing.

Also decontamination of the patients home has been promptly carried out.

People of Enugu State are reminded to stay at home, and only go out when absolutely necessary.

Further when going out, you are strongly advised to wear an appropriate cloth face mask, avoid touching the front of the mask, and to always remove the mask from both ears at once, wash and iron if possible once you get home.

Continue to practice physical/social distancing of at least 2m (or 6ft) apart from each other.

Practice proper respiratory hygiene (cough or sneeze into your elbow, use tissue if you must and discard immediately into a safe and secure bin).

Wash your hands as often as possible with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds (or the length of time it takes you to sing the happy birthday song twice) or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer when there is no facility to allow you to wash your hands.

Finally sanitize surfaces all round you as often as possible with a 1in6 mixture of bleach and water.

The versatile football administrator died Early hours of Tuesday morning after battling undisclosed sickness in Enugu.
Before his death, Mr Okenwa was the chairman of Nigeria National League, NNL and a board member of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

South East Fa have just lost one of our finest brains in football admin.
We have this morning hours lost the Enugu State FA Chairman , Mr. CHIDI OFOR OKENWA to the cold hands of death.

CORP MEMBER TEST POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS IN ONDO

The Ondo State Government has confirmed one case of coronavirus in the state.

Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Monday, confirmed twenty new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria.

NCDC said the cases were in Lagos, Kano, Edo, Ogun and Ondo State.

Confirming the development, Akeredolu on his Twitter handle, said the new case is a close contact of one of the State’s index cases.

The number of confirmed coronavirus patients in Ondo State has now risen to three.

He wrote, “The just confirmed another case of in Ondo State. The reported case is a close contact of the index case who was also put in isolation but was tested once they began to display symptoms.

“The new case brings the total number of confirmed cases in Ondo State to 3.”

Also, according to a statement issued by the information and Orientation commissioner Donald Ojogo on Monday the patient is a Medical doctor.

“The third positive case in Ondo State is a Medical Doctor; he is a Youth Corps member attached to the Army Clinic at the Barracks and had attended to the first index case while he was under observation.” Vanguard quoted the statement as saying.

A popular Enugu Pastor, Prince Ikuku Power has resumed activity as a "cleric" months after he was allegedly accused sodomizing a little boy.

In the video which has gone viral on social media, residents of the community where he was caught committing the said offence were heard shouting and saying that the "little boy's a**s was damaged by the act".

The Pastor's name "Ikuku" was also shouted continously in the video which was recorded in December 2019. The video was re-shared online after the Pastor became active on social media, months after being accused of being involved in the homosexual and pedophilic act.

KATSINA STATE HAS RECORDED ITS FIRST COVID-19 DEATH, THE STATE GOVERNOR MASARI ANNOUNCED.

Governor Masari said the deceased, the state’s first COVID-19 patient, was a private medical doctor named Aminu Yakubu who had just returned from Lagos.

According The Nation, the state governor, Aminu Bello Masari, announced the death of the state’s first COVID-19 patient on Tuesday, April 7.

The deceased is identified as Dr Aminu Yakubu, a private medical practitioner based in Daura. It was gathered that the late doctor recently returned from Lagos to Katsina state.

Meanwhile, the Lagos state government earlier announced that it has discharged another patient who has fully recovered from the coronavirus infection. Gvernor Aminu Bello Masari announced the death of the state’s first COVID-19 patient on Tuesday, April 7.

-19: ENUGU STATE GOVERNMENTS denies reports that Foreign Affairs Minister, PA are two 'positive cases' in state
The Enugu State Ministry of Health has debunked reports trending on social media that the two cases in the state that tested positive for Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Geoffrey Onyeama and his Personal Assistant.

In a statement by the Permanent Secretary, State Ministry of Health, Dr. Ifeanyi Agujiobi, the state government stated that the claims are untrue, fictitious and baseless as well as the handiwork of mischief makers who want to dent the image of the Minister.

Dr. Agujiobi maintained that the two postive cases of COVID-19 are returnees from United Kingdom (UK) and are currently on Isolation, doing very well.

According to Agujiobi, "Suffice it to say that Geoffrey Onyeama and his Personal Assistant are not the two cases of COVID-19, recently reported in Enugu.

"We hereby enjoin the general public to disregard any information on COVID-19 in Enugu State that does not emanate from the state government through the State Ministry of Health or Information. Let us be well guided".
