Family Series: "My identity as an individual in the family" Topic: You a masterpiece
Ephesians 2:10 - “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
To achieve a glorious destiny in your family, you have to believe and accept you are a masterpiece. The meaning of MASTERPIECE is a work done with extraordinary skill; especially: a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement.
A work of outstanding creativity, or workmanship.
Yes! God took time to create and mold you to His taste. He used His extraordinary skill and supreme intellect to design and make you into the image you are today. Your height is not a mistake, your shape is not a mistake, and your colour is not a mistake. The shape of your eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and even your beauty is not a mistake. No wonder, the psalmist said in Psalm 139:14 "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Brethren, if we are God's masterpiece and are wonderfully made, why do people including Christians go out of their way to change their looks? Why do they have to change their colour? They were made beautifully black, but they want to become white! They were molded and given beautiful shapes, yet they prefer to do surgery to redesign their looks! So many have died today in the process of gender-affirming surgery, which is a surgical procedure, or series of procedures, that alters a person's physical appearance and sexual characteristics to resemble those associated with their identified gender.
The most commonly performed cosmetic procedures include breast augmentation/lifts, liposuction (the removal of body fat), facelifts, eyelid lifts, buttock and other body lifts, leg vein treatments, botox/fat injections, and nose and face reshaping.
Approximately two million people subject themselves to these kinds of procedures each year, shelling out money and sacr

Topic: You are treasured
Deuteronomy 14:2 - “You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure.”
To identify who you are in the family, you have to believe you are a special treasure. Special treasure means to take great care of something because you love it or consider it very valuable: to regard or treat it as precious; cherish, esteem, value
and very important.
You are so precious to Him that He has to use the blood of His son to secure your life and destiny! He used the blood of Jesus to preserve your life. He used the blood of Jesus to sustain your glory. He used the blood of Jesus to wipe off your sins and grant you direct access to His throne.
Brethren, in the Old Testament, during Moses's time, when sin was committed, the blood of animals was used to cleanse them from their errors. However, the blood of animals was not effective enough as it cleansed outwardly and not inwardly. The blood of animals was not cleansing their heart, and they sinned more and more! Hebrews 10:4,11-12
"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Yes! You are so important and precious to Him for Him to have offered the blood of His son as a living sacrifice to wipe off your sins and make you closer to Him. There is no greater sacrifice than someone laying down his life for you.
1 John 3:16, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”
Today, you can hardly see a parent dying for their children or children dying for their parents. No family member can ever die for

Galatians 4:7 KJV
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
One of the best things our Lord Jesus has given His children is this sense of freedom we experience immediately you give your life to Him. Someone who is free is not restricted, controlled, or limited by customs or slave mentality. When you are free, you are not limited by your past or previous failures.
Galatians 5:1 KJV
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
The will of the enemy is to keep you in perpetual bondage of slavery mentality. As a child of God, you should be able to identify what it is that is enslaving and stopping you from getting that freedom – however we define that – in our lives?
What is it that is preventing you from doing and becoming what you are capable of?
Brethren, do you know the devil uses the following to enslaved people's minds and keep them in bondage for life: One can be enslaved by belief system, traditional customs, sinful life style, past experiences, and fear of the unknown. So many people died today without achieving their full potential as a result of fear. Fear did not allow them to explore and maximize their potential in life, and they went away with it.
In Numbers 13, ten out of the twelve people who went to spy the promised land came back with fearful reports that brought death to the congregation. They allowed fear of what they saw to cripple their faith, and all those generations could not enter promised land except their children.
Numbers 13:32-33 KJV
And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitantsp thereof; and all the people that we s

Year of lifting up!
Ephesians 2:10 KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. You are His master piece
When God was creating you, He created you with a purpose in mind. He knew what He wanted from you from the beginning. You are not a guesswork but a master piece with a purpose. You were chosen to do good works and bear forth fruits to the glory of God.
Brethren, the good works are simply the things we do as believers in the ordinary run of our lives. Having been made alive in Christ, having been made holy, the good works God has prepared for us to walk in are simply the things we do as believers. Our whole lives are to be lived to the glory of God, and the good works we are to walk are the ordinary, everyday things of being a believer living one’s life.
According to the Scriptures, good works are not simply the rare, special, extraordinary, or super-spiritual things we do. Rather, they are anything we do in faith. When are you expected to carry out good works? I will say every day as the Lord grants you grace. Any available opportunity given should be used to do good works.
Good works include encouraging a friend, listening to your neighbor's burden, and taking care of your spouse, children, and family. Interceding for your family and friends, evangelizing and praying for others. Good work is helping people in need: Proverbs 3:27-28 "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, Come back tomorrow, and I’ll give it to you”-when you already have it with you.
The following are the benefits of doing good works: Do what’s right and all will go well with you…Deuteronomy 6:18.
Do what’s right, and you have joy…Psalm 106:3.
Do what’s right, and you please God

Genesis 6:9 KJV
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Part of your identity as an individual is embedded in the spirit of perfection. The meaning of perfection in the Bible relates to a state of completeness or absolute wholeness. Biblical perfection involves freedom from fault, defect, or shortcoming. In the New Testament, a Greek term for “perfection” can also mean “maturity.” The Bible expresses perfection in at least three different contexts: the perfection of God, the perfection of Christ, and the perfection of humans.
When the Lord decided to destroy the first world, having noticed how wicked men had become and how every imagination of their thought was only evil, he spared Noah and his immediate family. Noah was not destroyed because God found him to be perfect. Meaning he was found blameless. He walked with God with a perfect, clean heart. His thought was not polluted with evil seed.
Jesus spent thirty-three years on earth, and there was no record of him being imperfect in any form. He demonstrated what a spirit of perfection is and expects us to also be perfect.
Brethren, When you strive for perfection, you will become an instrument in the hands of God, and you will become a useful tool to be used by God. When you strive for perfection, you will walk with God and receive the benefits of fellowship with God. You will experience grace, which will affect your life positively.
How do you become perfect? Work on your thought, guide your heart from every evil dart from the devil. Always think positively and reject negative thoughts. Let your thoughts be filled with words of God, and let your thoughts be filled with gratitude and appreciation to God all the time. Let your heart be filled with thanksgiving and love of Christ, and that spirit of perfe

Deuteronomy 32:1 KJV
Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Your identity in the family is not complete until they identify your voice anytime you speak out. As a child of purpose, you have to learn to speak out! Your voice must be heard in the family.
There comes a time when speaking to heaven, and the earth becomes imperative for some things to give way. Heaven and earth have ears, and they can hear.
In Genesis 1, when God wanted to create the world, he permitted His Spirit to move upon the face of the waters, but creation did not take place until God spoke, and then creation started taking place. After God created all the things he wanted to create, including man, God gave man authority to continue the creation, and until Adam spoke, everything God created was nameless.
In the book of Deuteronomy 33, when Moses was about to depart from this world, he spoke to heaven and the earth to bear witness of his last speech to the children of Israelites reminding them about the good things the Lord has done for them, God faithfulness in delivering and saving them from their enemies. This means that heaven has ears to hear, and the earth can also listen.
Brethren, God has given us His children authority over every of His creation. You can speak to heaven concerning that issue, challenge, storm, and heaven. They will hear your voice. Heaven listens and records all your utterances. As a dedicated child of God, your voice can easily be recognized in heaven when you speak. Heaven pays attention to your words and brings forth answers as of when due.
From the first day Daniel spoke, heaven heard his voice, and Angel Gabriel was sent to him immediately. God wants you to speak to that situation right now. Do not fold your hands and allow the devil to mess around your life. Command h

Numbers 14:24, 38
But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it. But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still
Your Identity as an individual in the family is not complete until you wear the garment of right attitude. What is right attitude? Having the right attitude refers to having a positive and constructive mindset that enables one to approach life with optimism, resilience, and a willingness to learn and grow. It involves adopting a positive outlook towards challenges and setbacks, and being open to new ideas and perspectives.
Having the right attitude can have a significant impact on various aspects of life, including personal relationships, career success, and overall happiness. Individuals with a positive attitude tend to be more motivated, creative, and productive, which can lead to greater success and fulfillment
In the book of Exodus, the children of Israel saw the wonders of God in Egypt, they witnessed miracles unimaginable, they saw great signs that were never heard of before. They saw the glory of God and experienced his everlasting love, they saw and witnessed raw power of God, God manifested Himself in His holiness on the mountain and yet they continued to doubt God and murmured at any slight discomfort.
They were about to enter their promised land but wrong attitude stopped them from entering. The spirit of wrong attitude came heavenly upon them and stole their inheritance. Having experienced the great signs and wonders the Lord used to delivered them from bondage of Egyptians, one will think their minds would be fully connected to God and believe in Him without any reservation. However, Caleb and Joshua had another kind of spirit and never doubted God to handover
