CAF awards 3-0 win to Nigeria, fines Libya $50k over airport incident

The Nigerian national team were stranded at the airport in Libya for over 16 hours, where they were to play their African counterparts in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Super Eagles have reportedly decided to boycott their upcoming AFCON qualifier against Libya, citing inhumane treatment by the Libyan authorities.
