EARLY EARLY BORN IS AN EARLY BLESSING; if you look at it this way, I bet you won’t feel insecure or end up being a disappointment. Counselor Rash Ekome
Giving birth out of wedlock doesn’t mean you are born a failure or can’t fulfill your destiny. I know of many who gave birth at a young age but still made a better life.
There is a certain auntie 'A' in my neighborhood who I was told gave birth to her first child out of wedlock at the age of 15 (during form 3). Today, she is a vice principal in a prominent and remarkable government high school in KUMBA.
She didn’t let herself be made a victim of her own circumstances or care about what society would say or think of her. She realized her mistakes and was intentional about her life thereafter. If she had felt insecure about her early child, I believe she wouldn’t have made it in life. Depression would have killed her dreams.
Life is all about intentionality. Be intentional about your life. Do not let what others have to say define who you are or what you should be. The society that you are trying to impress wouldn’t even be there if you were barren. I mean, nobody would give you their child. 😁😆
Maybe you disappointed your parents by giving birth at an early age and out of wedlock, but that’s not the end of you. Dust yourself off, go straight to the mirror, and tell yourself; THEY SAID YOU ARE A FAILURE, BUT I SAY YOU ARE A SUCCESS, THEY SAID YOUR LIFE HAS ENDED, BUT I SAY YOU ARE ONLY STARTING.
When you proclaim positive things about your life and are willing to work towards those proclamations, I believe you will make progress and become even more successful than some of those friends who laughed at you because you had a child at an early age.
