Nigerian Lady Reveals How She Made The First Move When She Met Her Man

She said: “Chudi and I met at our friend's birthday on the 1st of June 2017.

I made the first move by accusing him of feeling "too fine" to talk to anyone. This was a ruse for me to open a line of communication with the most handsome 6ft 2 man I had set my eyes on.

Unfortunately, he was only in Lagos for a short period and he scooted back to Ireland to begin his Master's Degree five months later. We began spending every dav together up until he left with a plan to continue our relationship as a long-distance one.
We talked endlessly day and night via all modes of communication available to us and in June of 2018, I flew to Dublin to see him.

Unfortunately, I had contracted Cerebral Malaria before embarking on the trip and did not begin to display severe symptoms until I landed in Dublin. I was hospitalised for 7 weeks and spent 4 of those weeks in a coma.

During this time, Chudi was by my side and that was how he met my parents. They spent those 7 weeks together as they came in to visit each day - by the time I was well enough to comprehend where I was and what had happened, I was shocked to see that they had formed a bond and had inside jokes.

My Dad constantly "jokingly" reminded me that I was not permitted to bring another guy as my future husband. Fast forward to much happier and joyous times, we have remained together for the past 6 years encouraging each other in our careers, our personal growth and our walk with Christ.”

1- After the First Takbeer: Recite Surat Al-Fatiha.

1. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
2. Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen
3. Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
4. Maaliki Yawmid-Deen
5. Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een
6. Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem
7. Siraatal-lazeena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril- maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-daaalleen

2- After the Second Takbeer: Salat Al-Ibrahimiyya to the end, not Salat Fatih pls

Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa sallayta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed. Allaahumma baarik 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa baarakta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed.

3- After the Third Takbeer: Pray for the dead but according how its narrated from our Prophet (S.A.W). One of them is:

Allaahum-maghfir lihayyinaa, wa mayyitinaa, wa shaahidinaa, wa ghaa'ibinaa, wa sagheerinaa wa kabeerinaa, wa thakarinaa wa 'unthaanaa. Allaahumma man 'ahyaytahu minnaa fa'ahyihi 'alal-'Islaami, wa man tawaffaytahu minnaa fatawaffahu 'alal-'eemaani, Allaahumma laa tahrimnaa 'ajrahu wa laa tudhillanaa ba'dahu.

O Allaah forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk. O Allaah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Islam, and whomever you take way from us take him away in Faith. O Allaah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them.

4- Then lastly after the Fourth Takbeer: And you should pray for all Muslims.

5- And lastly end the prayer with one Salaam to the right (Just once).

Peppers are staple ingredients in the preparation of most Nigerian meals. See the most common peppers that are used in Nigeria.

1. Ata rodo (scotch bonnets)

This is the regular pepper we use in Nigeria. It also consists of yellow pepper. Most Scotch bonnets have a heat rating of 80,000–400,000 Scoville units.

2. Tatashe (red bell peppers)

Bell peppers are less pungent than ata rodo and are used to add colour to food. They come in red, yellow, orange and green. The green bell pepper is popularly known as green pepper.

3. Dry pepper (Piri piri/chili)
Piri piri is used to make the dry pepper that Nigerians grind. Most piri piri have a heat rating of 50,000–175,000 units.

4. Cayenne pepper

The Cayenne peppers are smaller chili peppers that are used to add some spice to the meal. They are rated 30,000 to 50,000

5. Cameroon pepper (Black pepper)
Cameroon pepper is a more African aromatic pepper that is usually dried and grounded. It is very spicy and pungent and usually used in small quantities.

*Same day Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was deposed as Emir of Kano, El-Rufai, Gov. of Kaduna State, appointed him as Vice-Chairman of an Investment Council for Kaduna State.* *48 hours later, he gave him another appointment as Chancellor of Kaduna State University.*

*Next, as a Federal High Court ordered the release of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi from Awe, in Nasarawa State where Ganduje banished him, guess who was the first to arrive there to es**rt him to Lagos? It was Gov. El-Rufai.*

*The questions are that:*
*- Who is that friend that can move or stand for your sake when you are at your lowest ebb and it feels like the whole world is against you?*
*- Who out of your friends can help you move the mountain out of your way, without religious or personal excuses?*
*- Who is that friend that can clothe you up when you're naked?*

*El-Rufai put his position and probably his political future on the line to stand by our own Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-Elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when the hawks rose to prominence against him.* *El-Rufal was the vocal voice in the wilderness.* *He stood firm, he did not waver.*

*He treasured his long friendship with Tinubu.* *He did not betray him, he reminded everyone of the pact between the North and South and would not allow selfish interests to damage the pact by betraying the trust.* *He was the last man standing.*
*El-Rufai fought for the presidency to move down South.*

*The question arises, amongst your friends, who can do that for you? Or do you just have a bunch of friends who only know you exist when things are good and normal?*

*Another question is, can you stand by a friend or Classmate, just as El-Rufai stood by Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, in a moment of uncertainty, failure or when the powers that be conspired against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect?*

*Can you put your resources, reputation and future on the line to stand by your friend or Classmate when there is a possibility of a backlash?*

*This is really food for thought.* *Do some friendship appraisal and evaluation, and see if there is any amongst your friends or Classmates who can be an El Rufai in your time of need and if you too, can be an El de-Rufai in a friend's life.*
