MOUNT NED NWOKO: THE TOURIST HAVEN THAT PLACED DELTA ON THE INTERNATIONAL MAP!

There is a place in delta, sited at 1100 feet above sea level, it's breathtaking, awe-inspiring, heart-stirring and spine-tingling, yes it's one of the finest place you will ever visit on this side of the Atlantic!

Surely you must have either heard or read about the acient seven wonders of the world; the Pyramids of Giza, the hanging gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus, the temple of Artemis, Collosus of Rhodes, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and the light house of Alexandria!

You surely must have read or heard too about the seven new wonders of the world comprising the Taj Mahal, Great China Wall, Petra, Christ the Redeemer statue, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza and the Rome Colloseum.

Mount Ned Nwoko, built on a sprawling 30 hectares of lush vegetation, is truly nature at its finest with a blend of the best modern architectural design and with it modelled after the impeccable and flawless character of its founder Prince Ned Nwoko, we expected nothing other than a perfected master piece and that's exactly what we got!

Mount Ned Nwoko, located at the entrance of the peaceful Idumuje-Ugboko community in aniocha north local government area of delta state, at 1000 ft above sea level stands at the highest point in all of delta, i hear that opticians refer patients here, for if ever you want to test how far your eyes can see, the iconic Mount Ned Tower standing at 1100 ft above sea level provides the perfect opportunity!

Delta state, a product of the August 27th 1991 divorce of the Edo Delta union, popularly called BenDel, has remained one of the most talked about state in Nigeria, but since 2005 when Mount Ned was commissioned, delta majorly known for its richness in oil and gas, left the national stage, it became a point of global focus, the commissioning of Mount Ned Nwoko placed it on the international map!

Mount Ned Nwoko, a tourist haven and the eight wonder of the world offers a plethora of mesmerizing options, from the spectacularly hand carved villa of Eden, to the iconic Mount Ned tower, the lush green 18 hole golf course, the seven streams and seven tombs, everywhere on this peak is eye catching!

Mount Ned Nwoko, the 8th wonder of the world is divided into three sections, firstly the Museum like Mansion called the VILLA OF EDEN, oh a pleasure seeker delight, home to rare antiques and artefacts from around the world, with the water fountain providing the first cool reception at the Villa, tales has been told of it being the original fountain of youth!

Next up is the FRUIT FARM, from regular fruits like pawpaw, pineapples, oranges, mangoes, tangerines, avocados, grapes, apples, bananas and lemons, to palm, fig, cashew nuts, kola nuts, aloe vera, barbells (baubau) and olives, Mount Ned has all in abundance, all together there are over 10,000 trees in this paradise!

THE PARK/ANIMAL KINGDOM forms the third section of this wonderland, this area of the resort is an adventurers delight, take a walk around the park named LILLY, and you will see why Mount Ned Nwoko remains the destination of choice for international tourists!

The animal kingdom, home to antelopes, hawks, pigeons, crowns, porcupines, dove, birds, geese, ducks, goats, lambs, cows, crocodiles, peacocks, tortoises, ostriches, monkeys, emus, donkeys, horses, added to the over 100,000 cat fish (oh now i crave for barbeque) and hens, you will see truly that there is something for everyone, and with a man made lake coming soon, there is certainly more reason why you should tour the most visited site in delta!

What about the array of sporting activities the resort offers, the standard lawn tennis court, olympic sized swimming pool, dart board, pool table, ping pong table and standard football field, indeed at MOUNT NED NWOKO, the options are so many one becomes spoilt for choice!

Finally it's worth noting here that although this 8th wonder of the world is a fusion of many cultures, Prince Ned Nwoko a man with so much love for his roots ensured that his culture forms the bane of this masterpiece, simply put there is something for everyone at MOUNT NED NWOKO, the very reason it remains a tourist delight for over a decade now and by extension placed delta state on the international map, just Google delta from anywhere in the world, and MOUNT NED NWOKO, will be amongst the top search result!

Don't just take my words for it, the gates opened all year long, bars no one, Mount Ned Nwoko knows no race, religion or colour, why not go see things for yourself, alas one visit and you will have found a second home, should you get there by nightfall, unlike Joshua who prayed for the Sun to stand still, your prayer will be for night to tarry as the sight at dark is so magnificent and enthralling!

God bless Prince Ned Nwoko for turning such a huge vision into a reality, deltans are indeed grateful for this masterpiece, and like Alice, many destinies has been fulfilled on this wonderland!

Chairman of the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation Hon. Ned Nwoko and his wife, Regina Daniels, have reached out to orphaned children in Abuja as the lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic continues. They both visited three orphanages in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, where they donated foodstuff and cash. Items donated include bags of rice, gari, detergent, spaghetti, vegetable oil, noodles, beverages, napkins, toiletries among others.

The orphanages visited are Destined Children's Orphanage in Kado, Heritage Home Orphanage in Gwarinpa and Hope for Survival Orphanage in Maitama Extension.

While the first two orphanages were promised a monthly subvention of N500,000 by Prince Ned Nwoko, the third orphanage was given N1million on the spot as a result of more number of kids in the facility totalling 69.

This reality of the current lockdown is that many are going to bed hungry every night- but not these babies, not these kids.

“They will have something to eat tonight and beyond the lockdown,” Nwoko told journalists after donating the items.

Its also worthy to note that the Philanthropist is currently oversees a thriving non-governmental organisation named after him and one of the agenda is to eradicate malaria in Africa starting with Nigeria.

The law did what is right

Some individuals launched an offensive against some innocent indigens of Idumuje Ugboko community , this attack was characterized by the systematic and widespread perpetration of all classes of atrocities against some inocent members of the community, but particularly directed towards those considered to be against the decision to reverse the allotment of land for the purpose of establishing a university in the community by Prince Dr Ned Nwoko, the victims and inhabitants, experienced most intensive and concentrated period of torture, physical injuries, and violations of their personal rights by these individuals , the victims were dragged out of their homes , beaten injured and were dragged to the palace, some of them had their houses burnt down by the attackers, they took the abductees to the palace, young women and elderly people were subjected to severe beatings and injuries , a man lost his life as a result of the mayhem which was characterized by lawlessness and unbridled destructions to properties. It was ok that the families of the victims did not devise counteroffensive and retaliatory measures because that would have resulted to immeasurable consequences.
For any law abiding person, that was atrocious, particularly considering that someone was killed. If we must care for justice we must not ignore fairness
Justice is the state that exists when there is equity, balance, and harmony in relationships and in society. Injustice is the state that exists when unjust people do violence to peace and shalom and create inequity, imbalance, and dissonance
towards other people . It was sad that vast majority of atrocities occurred in Idumuje Ugboko community was not necessarily.
The attackers believed the victims should be punished for what they perceived to be their support for what is equitably right. The vast majority of atrocities were committed against their victims apparently random because they refused to join their myopic reasoning. The arbitrary nature of these attacks served to create an atmosphere of complete terror in Idumuje Ugboko community.
While it is easy to ascertain the reason for the perpetration of such dastardly attacks, the intention of those carrying out the attacks as well as their sponsors must not be overlooked either, that brings in the principle of vicarious liability. the actions were ordered by some selfish people who must be vicariously liable for the atrocities that occurred. The law is against this type of premeditated crime and must act. Victims and witnesses described the incident as widespread participation and very few members of the Izuani were involved. If the law does not agree that this is wrong I wonder what is, if any reasonable person can stand up in support of perpetration of these atrocities, then the person needs psychiatric evaluation .
Let's be clear without fear of contradictions , there were different crimes committed , police investigated the crimes and have the suspects apprehended, consequently the department of justice will have them prosecuted according to the law of our land.
If these people are guilty let them pay the price , if innocent they will be acquitted .
It is therefore unfair and biased for anyone to accuse an innocent person Prince Dr Ned Nwoko of being responsible for the arrest of these people by the law.
For those who are erroneously being judgemental, critique, as social change must leads to equity and requires informing the public of the fact
Fairness is man’s ability to rise above his prejudices.

Azuka Jebose’s Lies : A threat to Peace in Onicha-Ugbo, Idumuje-Ugboko
By admin - April 6, 2020057

By Dr. Michael Nwoko

I have been reading with heavy heart and unbelief the endless lies peddled by one Azuka Jebose reportedly based in Maryland, United States. The crude manner Azuka Jebose has dabbled into the affairs of Idumuje-Ugboko kingdom by telling all sorts of lies against renowned philantropist, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko and other notable members of the Nwoko Royal family is an indication that he is either hired by mischief makers or seeking for recognition to feed from the wicked deception he is creating on social media

Amongst the numerous lies told by Azuka Jebose in his serial propaganda is that Prince Martin Nwoko is among the defendants in Abuja. It is on record that Prince Martin Nwoko was never a defendant in the matter in Abuja neither was he part of the crisis in Idumuje-Ugboko.
His only role was when He exercised his powers as the oldest in the Nwoko Royal family and summoned a meeting of the Umu-Omorhusi Nwoko family upon the directive of his Royal Highness Ogbogidi Obi Albert O. Nwoko III. MON JP on the 8th of November, 2015.

Prince Martin Nwoko made invaluable contributions in the peace meeting which attracted members of the family both home and abroad. Another notable role played by Prince Martin Nwoko was his sound contribution in the meeting summoned by the Assistant Inspector General of police in his office in Benin City on the 1st of June, 2017 where he confirmed that His Royal Highness Ogbogidi Obi Albert O. Nwoko III. MON JP approved 90 hectares of Land for STARS University project but that some persons within the palace were opposed to the approval.

It is important for Azuka Jebose and his sponsors to note that Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko is not a complainant in any of the matters in court and so linking him with the matters clearly shows desperation and unprovoked aggression to attack his personality.

I can go on and on to mention the numerous lies told by Azuka Jebose and his cohorts in an attempt to malign the person of Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko but let me stop at this juncture but to challenge Azuka Jebose a bit. If truly you are a son of Onicha-ugbo in diaspora, you should be more interested in making peace rather than threatening social harmony and progress in your neighbouring community, Idumuje-Ugboko. If truly you are a son of Onicha-ugbo who have benefited from University education, you would gladly embrace and support the STARS University project which is on the treshold of opening up Communities Anioma area and contribute immensely to the socioeconomic status of the people.

Suffice to say that If you, Azuka Jebose or your Children don’t need University Education or Employment in the STARS University, there are numerous youths and adults in Onicha-ugbo, Idumuje-Ugboko, Anioma and indeed beyond that earnestly need them.

It is my advice to you Azuka Jebose and your cohorts to stop dabbling into the affairs of Idumuje-Ugboko as you are not knowledgeable to speak or write in that regards. It is also my candid advise that you and your sponsors stop peddling lies against STARS University land issues and Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko as the people are far better enlightened and informed to accept the gibberish you post on social media.

It is instructive to note that after the unfortunate crises that rocked Idumuje-Ugboko for over 5 years, a peace process has been instituted by a Committee of Traditional Rulers ably led by our revered royal father, His Royal Majesty, Obi Emmanuel Efeizomor II, the Obi of Owa Kingdom with the full support of other Kings in Anioma.

I have the firm belief that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, the actions of everyone at this critical time should be guided accordingly in order not to jeopardize the peace process as we cannot afford to go back to the trenches.

Azuka Jebose. You are supposed to be a journalist. Journalism is an honourable profession. You must learn to write with honour,to dignify not destroy.

Let me end this piece with a popular Chinese proverb “the person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it”

Enough Azuka Jebose.

Long live Idumuje-Ugboko!
Long live Delta State!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Nigerian most notorious big fraudster and drugs peddler base in USA.

He's Azuka Jebose;

Azuka Jebose hails from Onicha Ugbo in Aniocha North LG of Delta State. He's a very notorious crook and a drug courier.
He was once a reporter with punch newspapers. He was sacked for fraudulent charges, when he stole some money paid to him for an advertisement by one of fela’s promoters. Thereafter, he became very desperate to leave Nigeria as he was jobless, he didn’t have any other career. He paid someone who smuggled his name among the entourage for sunny okosun tour to America pretending to be a singer. Of course once he got to America he absconded into thin air. He never sang in his life. He worked variously as a cab driver and as a security until he met a Colombian who told him that he could make some money if he can bring some drugs from colombia. Azuka always wanted an easy money. He fell for it and found himself in Colombia. He was arrested at the airport with co***ne with $500,000 and sentenced to 7 years in prison. He was deported back to America after serving 4 years in prison. He is known to be anti Buhari and he wrote many articles attacking the president. He also wrote attacking the publisher of thisday and kachikwu Ibe the former minister of state for petroleum. Our inquiries about this crook of a man continues. Azuka Jebose.

Ned Nwoko Achievements

Ned Nwoko has achieved laudable achievements both nationally and internationally worth mentioning.

He has since set up a Law firm in the U.K. as a practitioner and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

On his return to Nigeria, Ned was elected a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives between 1999 and 2003 under the Obasanjo regime representing Anochia North South and Oshimili Constituency of Delta State.

Again, he is said to have what many described as ‘Wonder Home’ on a large area of land in his Idumuje Ugboko in Aniocha in Delta State. The fascinating edifice, popularly referred to as “Castle in the Air” by many, has the attributes of both Western and Arabian architectural designs, laden with a Royal traditional touch.

The mansion is not only beautiful but has become the much talked about structure that has tourist attractions.

The home has a Zoo with different animals ranging from Monkeys, Crocodiles, Rabbits, Horses, Sea Eagles and other species. In addition, the other portion of the land has a fish pond with over 50,000 Catfish and other species of fish.

The wonder home of Ned Nwoko also has a poultry numbering over 5000 Chickens and another area of land having palm trees. Other features include a Swimming Pool, a Standard Lawn Tennis and Table Tennis Courts and others, situated above 1000 feet above sea level. The beauty and the architectural designs have given it that uniqueness among several others as a standout structure in Delta State of Nigeria.

Through his foundation, Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation, he has contributed to the empowerment and education of youths of his constituency, senatorial district and state.

In 2019, he donated $273,000 (N100M) for the rehabilitation of failed portions of the road linking the South Eastern Nigeria to the nation’s capital, Abuja.

In 2019, he pledged the sum of $200,000 (about N71.6m) to UNESCO to support the development of sports in West Africa
