Overtime I have remained silent over the upcoming DSPG NATIONAL ALUMNI election slated to hold few days from now. It is evidence that we have two principal Candidates who have served the school in various capacities but only one will emerge as president after the poll.

Knowing both principals from thesame department (MCM) in School, I can tell you both have leadership qualities bestowed on them but if you will ask me who will emerge victorious. Read further..

Having served along side Comr. Akpofure Godstime, I can vouch that he is the right man for the job owing to the fact that he is more of a lead-servant than a leader. His qualities encompasses what can be imagined, he is down to earth and never believes in impossibilities, he is charismatic and enthusiastic about what he does. He will always say "Chris, give me one reason why you can't make it happen" when ever I feel like I can't go farther... He is such a pivotal key player in maintaining the peace and order n the 2016/2017 SUG/NADESSTU election and in other areas in the the school that puts his name on the list.

He has all it takes to lead DSPG ALUMNI to the greatest height..

DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND ASSURES DELTANS OF THEIR SAFETY AND SECURITY

The attention of the Command has been drawn to a recent publication making rounds purportedly published by the fulani’s of Usman dan fodio leadership tagged “FULANI JIHADIST WARNINGS” and pasted in various locations round Asaba and Agbor to be precise.

The command under the watch of CP Ari Muhammed Ali, FCIA, psc+ who is ever committed in its responsibility of providing security for all Deltans, is assuring members of the public to ignore the said publication which must have been pasted by miscreants with the aim of creating panic in the state.


All modalities have been put in place to forestall any of such occurrence, all residents are advice to go about their lawful businesses without fear or panic.

Undercover police operatives have been deployed across the state for the purpose of g*thering intelligence. Other proactive measures have been put in place by the command. Members of the public are also urged to continue to partner with the police, by providing useful information that will help in policing the state.
