I remember when I switched the channel to MTV back in the day and it was a P-Diddy music video. It was extremely difficult to enter a P-Diddy party or Allen Iverson party. Only the light skin, "half-cast" girls were hand picked at the club entrance....and the rest of us were flapping our fake eyelashes to avoid tears from running down our face.
But this one time, maybe by mistake, the bouncer allowed me and my best friend in 😱

You can't imagine how excited we were, not only because after so many rejected trials, we were finally let in but also you can imagine the self- confidence of me thinking
"well, if they allowed me in, then I must not be ugly again o"
Yes, each time we were rejected from entering a P-Diddy party, I felt downcast and reasoned that I was so ugly because only real beauties were allowed inside.

Did we blame God for making us dark skin? of course we did, did we blame God for not making us so lucky as one of those girls that "made it" in his music videos and parties etc? of course we did!
Anyway, back to the inside of Diddy's party. The room was so jammed packed that you could barely move, we saw celebrities at different levels and the stairs going down was where Diddy and other big names were located but no, we were not allowed to go down there. But that day, I was at least happy that I was "pretty" enough to finally enter a P-Diddy party.

We didn't stay long because the room was just too crowded, anytime Diddy came to town, the whole Houston Texas also came out to party with him.....he was truly given the world 🌎
So, eventually we left the party, hoping to get into the after-party at Hilton Hotel but again we heard it was even more difficult to enter into the after-party....so we gave up.

Through the years of my youthful exuberances, I had seen it all, from Dr. Dre party to the true lifestyles of top names in Nollywood, yet I remained blinded even in all my experiences until my eyes were opened by the Lord through the gift of salvation.

Today, I see that this young lady that graced so many covers of magazines and was part of P-Diddy's top girls is now an addict in the streets of New York. I'm heartbroken because of the latest revelations on P-Diddy and what he did to those girls.
I am reminded of all my anger toward God (back then) for not allowing me to "make it" and I now frequently ask for God's forgiveness and thank him for saving me from what the enemy had intended for my life.
In these last days, His word that says "there's nothing hidden that would not come to light" is being fulfilled daily.

I am not sharing this to shame Suzy Perez, I loved and admired her. I pray for God to rescue her. I am posting this to talk to you the reader, the young man and young woman who is currently angry at God because you want to be like a certain celebrity you see on social media, and everything seems to be "working against you" to prevent you from "making it."
However, if you compromise to "make it" the d*vil will give you the world 🌎, but your end will be no different than all you see of Diddy and the unfortunate model.
Beware of the mindset of "it won't happen to me."

Be content with food and a roof over your head!

I Pray for Suzy Perez recovery & deliverance in Jesus's name.
