Anambra been attack by Gunman

Today Friday
said the hoodlums stormed the area in presence of the security operatives and opened fire on them.

The source said the gunmen were said to be angered by the idea of a security post stationed in the area.

“The hoodlums stormed the area, shooting nonstop, while residents scampered to safety. One policeman was killed in the process,” he said.

However, the state police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the attack took place but denied reports that a policeman was killed.

Anambra police deploy intelligence team to foil rumoured gunmen attack

According to him, the incident did not happen in Soludo’s community but along the expressway.

He added that three policemen were wounded during the attack.

“A vehicle was recovered with bloodstains showing that the hoodlums suffered causality too,” he said.

YOUR SPIRITUAL ARMOUR
Read: 2 Corinthians 10:1-6
2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
MEMORISE: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
EXPOSITION
In June 1944, after a 24-hour weather delay, just before the invasion of Normandy, France, where gathered the largest military operation in the history of warfare, a famous letter was read to the "soldiers, sailors, and airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Forces," issued by General Eisenhower, saying: "Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely." Here, the General wanted his troops to understand the grim reality of the battle that awaited them because failure to do so would only lead to greater casualties.
Ponder on that scene and you will catch a clue of how terribly fierce our daily spiritual warfare has been since the Fall and redemption of Man. The enemy said, 'I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.' You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in

Information for Kaduna
Emergency Meeting held at Department of State Security (DSS) today, 2nd April, 2022
1 The Kaduna State, Director of State Security, Idris Koya called for an emergency
security meeting with the stake-holders of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and
Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) in the Department of State Security (DSS) Headquarter.
2 The Meeting started at about 2:18pm with all the different blocks from both CAN
and JNI respectively, fully represented.
3 Mr Idris Koya welcomed and praised the quick response of the stake-holders of
CAN and JNI to the meeting, in spite of the short notice. He said; the rising insecurity
in the state, which has taken another critical dimension in the past few days,
necessitated the urgency for him to call for an emergency meeting and chair it in
person.
4 He revealed to the spiritual leaders that the terrorists have resumed the use of
Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) to continue their attack on innocent citizens in
the State.
5 He stated that between 31st March and 1St April, 2022; eight (8) IEDs were planted
in Rigasa (two) and Maraban Jos (Six). But thanks to Anti-Bomb Squad, who received
the alarm, went and removed them safely before they were detonated.
6 He further instructed that with urgency, serious vigilance should resume in all our
places of worship. He stressed on the following strategies;
- set up security checks at the entrances of our places of worship
- people should be advised to stop bringing bags into places of worship
- Cars should be checked with security devices
-
Any suspected items seen or found littered around our
place of

TOPIC:
SEEK WISDOM

Read 1 Kings 3:1-15
1 Now Solomon made a treaty with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and married Pharaoh’s daughter; then he brought her to the City of David until he had finished building his own house, and the house of the LORD, and the wall all around Jerusalem.
2 Meanwhile the people sacrificed at the high places, because there was no house built for the name of the LORD until those days.
3 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.
4 Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
6 And Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
7 Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.
8 And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted.
9 Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” 10 The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11 Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understandi
