*The Story of Samuel Okwaraji*

Samuel Okwaraji was a talented Nigerian footballer who made a lasting impact on the sport. Born on May 19, 1964, in Orlu, Imo State, Nigeria, he grew up in Lagos and went on to play professional football in several countries, including Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Italy.

Okwaraji's athleticism and hardworking nature on the pitch made him a force to be reckoned with. He made his international debut for Nigeria in 1988, playing in a World Cup qualifier against Angola. Unfortunately, his promising career was cut short in a tragic turn of events during the 1989 World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Angola at the National Stadium in Lagos.

In the 71st minute of the match, Referee Hounnake Kouassi gave Okwaraji his last yellow card, and just six minutes later, he collapsed on the pitch and passed away from heart failure. The loss of such a talented athlete was felt deeply by both the Nigerian football community and the world at large.

To honor his contributions to the sport, an annual football tournament is held in Okwaraji's hometown of Orlu. His legacy serves as a reminder of the impact that one person can make, both on and off the field.

*The story of King Jaja of Opobo*

King Jaja of Opobo was a prominent figure in West African history. Born in 1821, he was a member of the Ijo tribe and became a powerful merchant and leader in the oil palm trade. Jaja's leadership skills and business acumen earned him great wealth and respect among his people.

In the late 1800s, the British colonial government sought to gain control of the lucrative oil palm trade in the Niger Delta region. They attempted to impose taxes and regulations on the local merchants, including Jaja. However, Jaja refused to comply with the British demands and instead established his own independent trading empire.

This defiance led to a series of conflicts between Jaja and the British authorities. In 1884, Jaja was arrested and exiled to the West Indies. However, he managed to escape and returned to Nigeria in 1887, where he continued to resist British rule.

Jaja's resistance ultimately led to his downfall. In 1891, he was captured by the British and exiled to the island of St. Vincent. He died there in 1891, but his legacy lived on as a symbol of resistance against colonial rule.

Today, Jaja is remembered as a hero and a symbol of Nigerian independence. His story serves as a reminder of the struggles faced by African leaders in the face of European colonialism and the importance of standing up to oppression and injustice.

24 years old Rwanda lady, Liliane Mugabekzi risks spending 2 years in jail for what has been considered by the Rwanda authorities as "Shameful dressing", as attached below
The 24 years old who was on the 7th of August was arrested and detained for her choice of dressing attended Tayc's concert show, who happens to be a popular French musician.

It's no news that nu dity, public indecency and serving alcohol to underage children is an offence punishable by law in Rwanda.
