Now you can no longer use keke to insult anyone.
Keke is now 1.8m excluding papers. Some states are even selling at a higher price.
Now, higher purchase is 2.4m or 2.5m, depending on the individual, with remittance of 20k or 25k weekly.
An average keke man who knows what he or she is doing makes at least 50k to 60k weekly. Even if things are bad, they can still make 40k weekly.
I once drove a keke in this town, and I can tell you for sure, as a young guy, that driving a keke will put food on your table for as long as you choose to drive it. That's also if you know what you are doing.
If you have looked for a job and couldn't find one, you can opt for a keke higher purchase and give yourself two years, and you will thank me. I have seen ladies who drive this for a living, but due to security reasons, it's preferably for a guy. But that doesn't mean ladies can't do this.
So I urge you, young lads, this is another form of employment. You can be self-employed as a young lad doing this, and you will never lack food or any life necessity. I know someone who built a house just by driving a keke. In Enugu state, the transportation business is booming alongside the food business. Transportation business contributes more to the state IGR as each day keke pays 350 naira daily to the state government. Now imagine how many keke is in Enugu state. And the percentage of keke is higher than buses. You can verify.
I know about 10 guys I encouraged to get into this during my time, and now most of them own not one or two kekes but many. Some have left it, like I did, and built a greater business for themselves. It’s a good start.
Don't allow anyone to discourage you. After those two years, the keke becomes yours, and you can choose to sell it or continue driving it. Just give yourself a target. Trust me; it's worth it.
