Breaking: Gunmen Kill Three Policemen, Set Vehicle Ablaze in Delta.

Three Policemen attached to the Umutu police station in Ukwani local government area of Delta state have been killed by unknown gunmen.

The incident occurred at a checkpoint along the Obeti/Oliogo road where the late policemen stationed their Toyota Siena patrol bus which was set ablaze after they were gunned down.

When contacted, the Delta police spokesperson Edafe Bright confirmed the incident saying three Policemen died in the attack and efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing gunmen.

This is the second time in six months that Policemen will be attacked in Umutu, with the first being the setting ablaze of the police station and killing of an Assistant Superintendent of Police.

HUSHPUPPY: WE'VE BEEN CONTACTED BY FBI TO ARREST ABBA KYARI, ITS BEYOND OUR CAPACITY BUT FOR THE POLICE TO HANDLE - EFCC

Nigeria's anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, says it has been contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to arrest Nigeria’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, over his connection with a serial internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas (Hushpuppi).

A top source in the EFCC disclosed this to SaharaReporters on Thursday.

However, the source stated that the case was not within the capacity of the EFCC but for the police to handle.

"FBI has contacted EFCC, asking that we arrest Abba Kyari but we told them that it is a police matter," the source in the EFCC said.

But when SaharaReporters reached out to the Nigeria Police Force, it conspicuously kept mute over the allegation levelled against its ‘Super Cop' who has enjoyed praises for his service over the years.

Meanwhile, SaharaReporters had earlier reported that a United States' Court issued a warrant of arrest for Kyari.

Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation to track down Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai last June and he pleaded guilty to fraud in the US this week.

The FBI said Abbas and Kyari have been friends and were both involved in a conspiracy to launder money.

American prosecutors first sought a court warrant to arrest Kyari on February 12, 2021, according to court documents seen by People’s Gazette.

Another warrant was requested on April 29, 2021.

Judge Wright’s permission for the FBI to arrest Mr Kyari and hold him in US custody was unsealed on July 26.

SaharaReporters had earlier reported that Hushpuppi narrated how he bribed Kyari to have one of his rivals, Kelly Chibuzor Vincent arrested and jailed in Nigeria following a dispute over proceeds of fraud amounting to $1.1 million.

The money was dubiously taken from a Qatari businessperson.

Abbas pleaded guilty to a multi-million fraud earlier this month and faces up to 20 years in jail.

He will be sentenced in the coming weeks and will forfeit some of his assets and his rights to appeal, while also paying restitution to victims of his fraudulent activities.

Kyari, in a statement on Facebook, has, however, dismissed the allegations of bribe.

BREAKING: Nigerian Police Service Commission Suspends Abba Kyari

The Police Service Commission has suspended Abba Kyari, a Deputy Commissioner of Police and Head, Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigeria Police Force from the exercise of the Powers and functions of his office.

A statement by Ikechukwu Ani, Head Press and Public Relations said, “Abba Kyari’s suspension took effect from Saturday, July 31st 2021 and would subsist pending the outcome of the investigation in respect of his indictment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States.

“The Commission has also directed the Inspector General of Police to furnish it with information on further development on the matter for necessary further action.

“The Commission’s decision which was conveyed in a letter with reference, PSC/POL/D/153/vol/V/138 to the Inspector General of Police today, Sunday, August 1st, 2021, was signed by Hon. Justice Clara Bata Ogunbiyi, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court and Honourable Commissioner 1 in the Commission for the Commission’s Chairman, Alhaji Musiliu Smith, a retired Inspector General of Police who is currently on leave.

"My take on the ABBA KYARI Brouhaha, let me know what you think brother.

My people, This Abba Kyari Saga is quite interesting in so many ways. It pretty much exemplifies who we are and what we are. Subjects of Imperial dominance !!!!

First let me say that in no way do I support, excuse or condone the acts if the allegations are true, it once again gives us Nigerians a black eye around the world. But that's about it.

But Black eye or not, Let us look at this with keen eyes, understand the facts and ask the right questions.

Nigeria and Nigerians all over the world are in an uproar over this for no reason whatsoever, Embarrased? Yes but hey what's new in that department. I am still wondering how they were able to get an arrest warrant or indictment against him here in the USA.

From all of my readings so far including the conversations with Hushpuppy, no where do I read that he was part of the conspiracy to defraud anyone or companies here the USA, he was not even a tiny, Itty Bity part of his fraudulent outfit.

1. What is he being accused of, OK, he accepted a BRIBE in another country, to do the bidding of a criminal and a fraudster, which may or may not be obvious to him. When did it become a crime in the USA for anyone who accepted a bribe from someone else ( Not an American Company or Citizen O) but from a Nigerian in Nigeria. Haba, Ki lo de!!!

2. If true, the proper thing to do here is to hand the findings and discovery to Authorities in the country where the said crime was committed to prosecute if they deem necessary or if it rises to a level of what they want to pursue.

3. When the did the FBI become the investigative arm of the Nigerian police force and under what Authority or law are they issuing an arrest warrant for him in the USA.

4.That Mr. Kyari is a corrupt member/officer of the NPF is none of their business if you ask me and because America/FBI says so does not necessarily make it true.

Please before we start to subjugate ourselves as we always do to American/ British Authorities we need to ask these questions of them.

There's enough corruption and crime here in the USA to keep them busy than a mere bribe between two citizens of another country, Abi Iro ni?

Just facts not necessarily supporting Mr. Kyari. A voice of reason while we are all jumping up and down!!!."

⛔ The Culprit Has Been Arrested...

The Fire that gutted Prince Ebeano Supermarket last week in Lokogoma district of Abuja was an act of arson & pure wickedness which is obviously premeditated judging from the culprit's behavior from the CCTV camera inside the shopping mall..

To our utmost surprise & disbelief the culprit has been found, identified on camera!

It's rather pathetic & shocking to the bones to see such an innocent kid to have been polluted in the mind with such dastardly act.

The toddler has been arrested along side with her elder sister who might have spurn her into doing such Terrible act..

3) Abba Kyari provided an account number, not his, the account number belonged to a policeman in his IRT to Hushpuppi who wired money, the reason the money was sent was to mobilize the policemen that went to pick up Chibuzor for betraying the Instagram celebrity.

4)Immediately Chibzor was arrested and detained, Abba Kyari sent a message across to Hushpuppi via Whatsapp informing him that Chibzor had been arrested.

"He is now in my cell," he wrote on WhatsApp. He then sent the picture of the detained Chibuzor at the police cell to Hushpuppi to confirm whether he was the one that betrayed him.

Abbas known as Hushpuppi confirmed yes that the idiot is the one. Abbas requested Abba Kyari's account details, money was sent to him by Hush for doing a good solid job.

5) Chibuzor was detained for 1 month at the pleasure of Hushpuppi. All through the period, Chibuzor was detained, he was not charged to court rather Hushpupp was sending money to the police officer whose account was provided at the beginning for mobilization.

6) After One-month incarceration, God touched Hushpuppi's heart, he then sent a message to his police ally and friend that Chibuzor should be freed from police detention.

A request that was properly complied with by the IRT team headed by Abba Kyari.

7) Chibizor is today at large as nobody knows his whereabouts but the action Abbas took by reporting to the victim of their fraud in Qatar that they scammed him is one of the reasons that led to the fall of Hushpuppi's criminal empire.

8) The Qatari citizen who was scammed made a formal report to the FBI, the FBI team went to action immediately and uncovered the whole heist that implicated our beloved Abba Kyari.

9)FBI is looking for Abba Kyari for being an accomplice to fraud, nothing more than this.

FBI is not looking for him for running a Jumia delivery business in his police office as a side hustle.

They are not looking for him because Hushpuppi was his younger friend and ally.

He committed a crime when he used the instrument of his office to arrest Chibuzor knowing fully well that the crime he committed was singing like a bird to the victim scammed by Huspuppi and his gang.

10) In the end, it could be said that Hushpuppi's greed by not paying his friend Chibuzor the agreed sum and Abba Kyari's messianic complex with the mindset that he is untouchable because he came from the right part of the country were the hubris that led to the downfall of two beloved friends and historians will always remember this.
