Now here's a story about J.K. Rowling, a renowned author who rose from grass to grace:

Joanne Kathleen Rowling, known to the world as J.K. Rowling, was a single mother living on welfare benefits in Edinburgh, Scotland. She struggled to make ends meet, often writing in local cafes while her daughter slept.

Today we celebrate International Literacy Day by calling for governments in Africa to make the budget for education exceed every other expense.

An African proverb says, "Children you don't educate will destroy infrastructure that you build" and this has been the experience with insecurity in Nigeria and other Sub Saharan countries.
