*NANS CONDEMNS FEE INCREMENT IN EKSU, ISSUES 72 HOURS REVERSAL ULTIMATUM.*

The National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS), has condemned the management of Ekiti State University over its decision to increase tuition fees by over a N100,000.NANS, in a statement issued by its National Vice-President External Affairs, on Wednesday, March 29, called on the state Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, and all concerned stakeholders to as a matter of urgency, to look into this critical issue and reverse the tuition fees.
*NANS condemns fee increment in EKSU, issues 72 hours reversal ultimatum The union described the increment as a ”devilish and anti-student” policy and issued a 72 hours ultimatum for the fees to be rescinded else, the union would relocate and occupy the state.*
It added that the decision of the school management to increase the fees was not only Ill-timed but also inconsiderate, unjustifiable, heartless, and cruelty of its highest order considering the economic situation of the country.
