*Tourism Volunteers Initiative for Sustainable Development* *(TOVISD)* a newly established non governmental organization based in Gwarimpa, Abuja is seeking reputable individuals for engagement.
*1*. *Administrative Officer*
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and other Directors. His or her duties include organizing records, overseeing department budgets and maintaining inventory of office supplies among other duties that will be assigned.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field
- Experience as an administrative officer or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: Reviewd on probation with increment after 3months.
*2.* *Volunteer Web and Social Media Officer*
The Volunteer Web and Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing and updating the organization's website and social media platforms. His or her duties include creating and posting engaging content, monitoring online activity and feedback, and implementing digital marketing strategies to increase awareness and support.
Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in web design, digital marketing or a related field
- Experience in web development, social media management or a similar role
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and other web tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Creative, innovative and enthusiastic personality
*3.* *Volunteer Training Officer*
The Volunteer Training Officer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs for the organization's volunteers. Their duties include assessing training needs, developing learning objectives and materials, facilitating training sessions and evaluating outcomes.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, human resources or a related field
- Experience in training, coaching or mentoring
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and methods
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others
*4.Volunteer Grants and Aid Officer*
The Volunteer Grants and Aid Officer will be responsible for researching and applying for grants and other funding opportunities for the organization. His or her duties include identifying potential donors, writing grant proposals, managing grant contracts and reporting on progress and impact.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising or a similar role
- Knowledge of grant sources, requirements and procedures
- Excellent writing, research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Note: all volunteers engaged by TOVISD will work a maximum of four days a week and shall receive a monthly allowance to cover for their transportation and feeding. A high performance will receive the right of refusal for similar opportunities within the organization or with partners.
