Amongst other factors, this is definitely the worst that could’ve possibly happened and here, we have given a (not so detailed) breakdown of how it could’ve been managed. This is a classic example of CRISIS MANAGEMENT.
Truth be told, a campaign could go wrong even when least expected. Just when you thought every sensitive topics that could spring up regarding a campaign has been taken care of and controlled, a comment from a fraction of the audience could change the audience.

WE JUST COULDN’T USE DOGS 😔

Cultural climate does play a huge role in marketing a brand. Marketing is not one size fits all, what happened at Point A might not happen at point B just because they have divergent behaviors and stereotypes. Once there’s a change in one economic factor (place, people, time & price etc.) you have to tweak your strategy accordingly.

Just as in this case, We had a great idea but cultural limitation stood in our way.

Sometimes, it’s not about how amazing the idea is, it’s about gauging your audience.

“Ads do not work” That’s a big fat lie! 😂

Although, painkillers sell much more than Vitamins but there are significant disadvantages as well as advantages that come with both class of products.

Think about those times you needed to have burgers or any other category of food or anything really, what brand comes to your mind?

Whatever your answer is; You will agree with us that you have tried that brand a couple of times and derived the satisfaction you longed for so much that you don’t think as much about other brands within the same niche when you need that product (in this case; burger).
