The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities- NCPWD, Nigeria (NCPWD) is strongly advising persons with disabilities to apply for the Chevening UK Government Scholarship Applications to study in the UK. The application was opened on the 2nd August and will close on the 1st November 2022, with applications to be submitted via www.chevening.org/apply
Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals from all backgrounds who can demonstrate that they have the skills and commitment required to create positive change, and can show how a UK master’s degree will help them achieve this.

The scholarship offers full financial support for successful applicants to study any subject at any UK university whilst also gaining access to a wide range of exclusive academic and professional experiences

The Albino Foundation (TAF) and other Organisations of Persons with disabilities (OPDs) went on Advocacy visit to We FM 106.3 Maitama, Abuja.
The visit was meant to intimate the entities of the concerned persons with disabilities, as well as the provisions of the disability act. The meeting provided the opportunity to discuss ways the entities can promote disability inclusion in Nigeria.
