I call on Kogi and Bayelsa to please never forget that election is just a game that is not supposed to be characterised with violence, please let peace usher in and out the electoral process.

Moreover I call on all my friends across different political parties in both states to please stay safe even as the process gets interesting, dont be carried away as we collectively have a whole lot to offer our country even as we progress towards national development...

We are to hence note that, it is our exclusive right to take a particular struggle as our respective interest and the beauty of it however is that such who take such decisions should be respected with not quarrels...we are all in a movement that tends to place Nigeria in an enviable position of pride for all.

Finally, let us all know that we are brothers and sisters before any party coloration, so in view of this, let us allow peace to be the major actor in the process.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR AND WHAT LIES AHEAD

To my family members, all my leaders across the country, ranging from the Federal, States, local government, my Political Ward, my supporters across party lines and constituents of Idanre constituency, I want to use this historic window to appreciate you all for your support in all ramifications, especially in relation to my aspiration towards becoming the representative of my state constituency (Idanre) in Ondo State House of Assembly.

The journey so far, has been a fantastic one which gave myself and my team, the opportunity to make the world know, that we are made of special Political breed that is capable of making the difference, and ready to bring about the needed changes and of course development, that our society needs at crucial times like this.

However, it is evident that, political adventure is one which can not be journeyed alone, it rather demands collective participation of both the leaders and followers in a particular Political party for a successful advancement. This is why I, decided from the first day I took the bold step of participation in partisan politics, to always bring to bear, the major and most important steps and realities in politicking.

Meanwhile, our great party, the All Progressives Congress APC in Ondo State, is one which houses numerous progressive ideologically oriented individuals in which I am one. The party has however, taken some steps through its leadership to ensure that the process of getting the party candidate will be one which will be fair enough to bring about a candidate that will be accepted by all.

Furthermore, It is not contestable, that the party is supreme to all individuals under it, hence the mandatory obligation of all patriotic party loyalist to adhere to the directive and decision of the party in whatever matter or situation. In view of this, the leaders of our great party at some levels, had reached out to me and implored me to pause the advancement of my Political aspiration. Having thought about this, I went through series of serious consultations with my leaders, followers and major actors in the party in the last few days and decided to heed to the party's decision of taking a bow and aligning with the party's decision which will be made clear before the end of the month.

My decision of taking a bow is not because I nor my team is a coward, rather, to respect as usual, the party supremacy which is one of the obligations of a true party man to the party. Going forward however, we shall be engaging in activities and decisions that will profit our great party and most importantly our Constituency which will have positive impact on all of us.

I want to finally appeal expressly with due respect to my family, friends, Political associates, party leaders and members, our supporters, fans and most importantly the constituentes of Idanre constituency, to please remain calm as the next line of action will be unveiled in no distant time from now.

Thank you all for your support always, I really appreciate and promise to make it up to you in other capacities as we proceed with the Political journey. May God reward us all for our positive contributions.

BEING PARTISAN IS HARMLESS AND LEGITIMATE IN THE POLITICAL SPHERE ACROSS NIGERIA: a need to get involved.

Political activities can be linked with the origin of man through the decision of the Almighty God, when He decided to create the world in a particular pattern as against other options which were believed to be available then, to also deciding further to create man and woman in which their relationship and interactions can be regarded as political.

Furthermore, the historical belief, that Eve gave Adam a fruit was orchestrated by political principles of influence. However, every human are involved in politics from within (making personal decisions in one's mind) to social engagements which transcends all processes of human interactions.

Meanwhile, Partisanship came to bear as a result of a continuous improvement on processes and patterns of addressing social issues which is importantly inevitable for a peaceful coexistence of men on earth.

Although interests varies between actors due to different reasons, and these interests birthed the coming together of persons with similar interests and ways of having their interests protected.

Today, idea if being partisan, have taken over the political space, where struggling for state power remains the only way to protect the society or otherwise. In recent times, it bacame apparent that, one have to be partisan before having acces to State power. State power which is a product of social contract, on one hand dictates what will be or not in a particular geographical area. On the other hand, State power plays a huge role in the international arena, where international clout "dictates" most international affairs in the world, under the guise of "influence"

Nevertheless, Partisanship, is not harmful as most persons assumes. There is no lie in the fact that there were political violence in the past, but it has been drastically reduced and this is evident in recent Political engagements in Nigeria particularly.

However, Partisanship is the best way to get involved in State affairs aside exercising civic responsibility of going to cast a vote during elections. It gives every individual the opportunity to directly choose who becomes the party executive members which will by implication decide who leads the state if such party eventually wins an election.

There are several Political parties in Nigeria today and being a member of any is one of the ways you can help to position the country on a better path as activities of Political parties are pivotal in deciding weather a country progresses, remain stagnant or maybe returns to the stone age. It is however encouraging, how people with better consciences and mental capacities are getting involved in Politics recently. This will hasten up the Nigeria of our desire.

As noted in the paragraph above, there are several political parties in Nigeria today, despite this however, the principles, ideas, beliefs and plans of various Political parties varies. For example, the pattern of the People's Democratic Party PDP is said to be tilted towards conservatism, while the activities of the All Progressives Congress APC, are anchored on the ideals of progressivism.

I am not surprised with the way majority of Nigerians decided and are still making further decisions to join and continue with the All Progressives Congress APC due to the visible progressive ideals embedded in it's activities and formation.

In my opinion and experience, the All Progressives Congress APC is the finest of all parties available in Nigeria today. Being a member of this great party has been one of the best decisions I made in my political journey so far. If anyone will like to consider, it will be a nice idea and move, to join the All Progressives Congress which will be more profitable to all, as we progress to the future.

Conclusively, Partisanship is essential for Political advancement in Nigeria and there is no harm in association, as the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria laid the background for Political associations. Be partisan, but try to be progressive.

It is important that every citizen has to exercise their franchise in a setting where there is law and everyone tends to obey it in an orderly manner.

However, in a contest there is no winner nor loser, it is purely a test of courage which everybody is entitled to, hence in this regard one might come higher than the other, it doesn't imply that the other is weak but that his/her push isn't totally accepted by majority. This and many other reasons are what should give courage to whoever couldn't come out higher in the contest... There are several other chances to push harder and come out victorious in subsequent elections.

Meanwhile, the Kogi and Bayelsa Elections are clear indications that the system is becoming stable, reasons being that: INEC fixed the date and delivered as expected, voting started as at when they were expected to start, the turn out was encouraging across the two states despite the tensions and violence is reduced as against what was expected. These and other reasons gives some of us the courage to belief in the system. Though might not be as we Nigerian hoped but it is sure that we shall get there as we don't stop nor revert back to the old system.

More importantly, whosoever that will be declared winner of today's election, such should take the Victory as victory for all because all political actors are in the system for a Paramount reason which is the development of the country in general. In view of this, the other parties that their best won't be enough to give them victory should be carried along in the process of governance to enhance a all-inclusive government. And to those who might not be too lucky to be favoured with the outcome of the election, the spirit of sportsmanship should be made the driver of your emotions as the future holds something bigger.

Conclusively, all the top actors especially the candidates and the party leaders across board should please control their supporter so as to prevent post electoral violence which I think the Federal Government will not tolerate. Together we can make Nigeria a better nation by most importantly allowing peace. Let us remember that a peaceful Nation is a healthy Nation and a healthy Nation is a wealthy Nation.
