Aminu Saira is a Nigerian filmmaker, director, and story writer who has made a significant impact in the Kannywood movie industry. Born on April 20, 1979, in Gwammaja, Kano State, Nigeria, Saira has become a household name in the industry.¹
He is known for his exceptional directing skills, which have earned him several awards, including the Best Director of the Year award at the 2015 Kannywood Awards. Some of his notable works include *Jamila Da Jamilu* (2009), *Ga Duhu Ga Haske* (2010), and *Ashabul Kahfi* (2014).
Saira has also been credited with revolutionizing the Kannywood industry, introducing new production standards, and mentoring young directors.² He has worked with top actors in the industry, including Ali Nuhu and Ibrahim Maishunku, and has produced several high-grossing films, including *Dan Marayan Zaki* and *Baya Da Kura*.
