The Page Author, Marty Eteng has gained wide exposure in all facets of mass media such as print/ electronic and is established as a professional in the industry since 2007. She did Industrial Attachment with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the private owned African Independent Television (AIT) in vigorous training respectively. She also served as a Reporter for the famous BISI OLATILO

SHOW during her brief employment with BISCON COMMUNICATIONS. The youth radio programme (UPWARD AND MOBILE), aired on Paradise Radio-CRBC, Cross River State Radio Broadcasting Corporation is also one of her productions. Her experience in print journalism includes Publishing and Editing one of the most vibrant and consistent magazines, known as “National Youth Magazine”, focusing on youth issues and circulated in most states of Nigeria for free. Her column, “Candid Scope”, in The Nigerian Chronicle Newspaper thrilled her devoted fans. Marty has in her archives documentary films already produced and other written scripts with more footages awaiting adaption. Her talent at interviewing personalities without firsthand preparations are legendry and often well sort after. She is Creative, fluent in English language with a flawless accent and can achieve any set objectives within the stipulated time frame. Marty is a strong advocate for Youth self actualization in Nigeria, and was nominated to represent Nigerian Youth at the 67th United States General Assembly deliberations in New York, held in 2007. She is widely travelled and the author of “FALSE START”, a novel adapted and used in the Literature Department of University of Calabar in Nigeria, “WHY ARE YOU STILL SINGLE?” and the “SNAIL HUNTERS” which is a requirement for secondary school literature in Cross River State. Other works in poetry and novels are awaiting publication. She Co-Founded a Media Company, SLASH MEDIA INT’L NIG LTD as Start-up in 2003, and is currently volunteering with YOUTHS WITH A MISSION, YWAM, in Hurlach, Germany as an African journalist concerned with the European Immigration crises. Dr. Raymond Dokpesi, Founder Of DAAR Communications, Is Dead!

His son, Raymond Dokpesi (JNR), unbehalf of the entire family made the announcement the passing of his father, in a statement on Monday.

The very amiable gentleman, announced these words to the public. “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of High Chief Raymond Aleogho Anthony Dokpesi (Ezomo of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom) who passed away on May 29th, 2023,” the statement reads.

“High Chief Dokpesi was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

“High Chief Dokpesi was also a respected and accomplished businessman, a pioneer in the media industry, and a philanthropist who dedicated his life to the service of his country and his community. His legacy will live on through the impact he made on the lives of many.

“The Dokpesi family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our patriarch. We also ask for privacy during this time as we grieve together as a family.”

He has already informed the public that more details on the burial arrangements will be released in due time.

TINA TURNER - END OF AN ERA

Everything that has life must at some point, die. So, has it come to the great Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Tina Turner.
The legend passed on today, and if you were one of her fans, her life was one of the most difficult but she follow through to pursue her passion.

According to her Wikipedia page, Tina Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock; November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023).

She changed her American citizenship and naturalized as Swiss when remarried a man from Switzerland.

She is known as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll", she rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner R***e, her first husband, before launching a successful career as a solo performer.

In her career life, it was the fire she mounted the stage that her fans loved.

It's in the news that he opened his 5-star luxury Guest House in Cameroon known as “Farleyvette Guest House” located in Simbock Yaoundé!

If you can't manage the shambles here, do not come and dump your hard earned investments just in a bid to impress your kinsmen, that you have arrived. You succeed here mostly when you know people in government.

He did well to take it to a functioning country, Ghana 👍.

This is quite encouraging, and other stars should emulate the step, so that they don't retire broke or fall sick and be begging the public for alms, while they were living large.

The Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards is an annual award show organized by MultiChoice to recognize outstanding achievement in television and film.

The inaugural Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ceremony was held in Lagos, Lagos State in Nigeria on 9 March 2013, and was broadcast live in more than 50 countries- Wikipage.

This year's was the ninth edition of the Africa Movie Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) and was held on Saturday at Eko Hotels, Lagos State.

LP SUPPORTERS DISGRACES APAPA IN COURT

This crying old man here, is Lamidi Apapa at the presidential election petition court, on Wednesday.

Upon his arrival at the court, he started disrupting things and was confronted by Akin Osuntokun, director-general of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council, over the sitting arrangement.

Recall that the APC heavily paid and are using him to bring all the fake fights going on in Labour Party so as to weaken the Party's chance at standing up in as one in court. He has crowned himself, the factional National Chairman of Labour Party, while they still have their standing National leadership intact. And was in court to withdraw Labour Party's election petition against APC.

This is how old men are trying to finish what they have started. But...

Obidients started shouting chanting “ole”, which translates as “thief” in Yoruba, and Apapa was dragged and pushed out of the court. At some point, someone in the crowd removed his cap and fled.

He had to be taken under protective custody by police officers around the court premises, when the mobbing by party supporters became intolerable.

The property here, is Saint Obi's own in his hometown, Ogwa town in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo state.

He has done over a hundred movies in Nollywood, during his era.
He might have had crisis in his personal life, how many people doesn't?
Like I said, his obituary was very poorly managed.
I know Nigerians might prepare for a huge burial for him, but that fresh information, when the News was hot and would have hit the world, has been denied him.
