The Page Author, Marty Eteng has gained wide exposure in all facets of mass media such as print/ electronic and is established as a professional in the industry since 2007. She did Industrial Attachment with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the private owned African Independent Television (AIT) in vigorous training respectively. She also served as a Reporter for the famous BISI OLATILO
SHOW during her brief employment with BISCON COMMUNICATIONS. The youth radio programme (UPWARD AND MOBILE), aired on Paradise Radio-CRBC, Cross River State Radio Broadcasting Corporation is also one of her productions. Her experience in print journalism includes Publishing and Editing one of the most vibrant and consistent magazines, known as “National Youth Magazine”, focusing on youth issues and circulated in most states of Nigeria for free. Her column, “Candid Scope”, in The Nigerian Chronicle Newspaper thrilled her devoted fans. Marty has in her archives documentary films already produced and other written scripts with more footages awaiting adaption. Her talent at interviewing personalities without firsthand preparations are legendry and often well sort after. She is Creative, fluent in English language with a flawless accent and can achieve any set objectives within the stipulated time frame. Marty is a strong advocate for Youth self actualization in Nigeria, and was nominated to represent Nigerian Youth at the 67th United States General Assembly deliberations in New York, held in 2007. She is widely travelled and the author of “FALSE START”, a novel adapted and used in the Literature Department of University of Calabar in Nigeria, “WHY ARE YOU STILL SINGLE?” and the “SNAIL HUNTERS” which is a requirement for secondary school literature in Cross River State. Other works in poetry and novels are awaiting publication. She Co-Founded a Media Company, SLASH MEDIA INT’L NIG LTD as Start-up in 2003, and is currently volunteering with YOUTHS WITH A MISSION, YWAM, in Hurlach, Germany as an African journalist concerned with the European Immigration crises.
