Empathy is like a warm blanket on a chilly day—it wraps us in understanding, comfort, and connection, even in the midst of life's storms. In a world where differences often seem to overshadow our similarities, empathy emerges as a beacon of hope, guiding us toward greater understanding and unity.
When we embrace empathy, we embark on a journey of transformation—one that transcends barriers and builds bridges between hearts. It's a superpower that enables us to see beyond the surface and delve into the depths of another's experience, fostering a profound sense of kinship and belonging.
Moreover, empathy isn't just a passive bystander in the face of injustice or suffering—it's a powerful force for positive change. By empathizing with others' pain and struggles, we become advocates for justice, catalysts for healing, and champions of compassion. It's through empathy that we can dismantle the walls of division and build a more equitable and inclusive society for all.
Practicing empathy isn't always easy—it requires us to listen with an open heart, suspend our preconceptions, and hold space for the full range of human emotions. Yet, it's in these moments of vulnerability and connection that true empathy flourishes, fostering deep bonds of understanding and solidarity.
But empathy isn't just about understanding—it's about action. It compels us to extend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, and stand up for those who may not have a voice. It prompts us to perform random acts of kindness, to uplift one another, and to create ripple effects of positivity and love in our communities.
In essence, empathy is the heartbeat of humanity—a guiding light that illuminates our shared humanity and propels us toward a brighter, more compassionate future. So, let's embrace empathy as not just a sentiment, but a way of life—one that celebrates our differences, honours our shared experiences, and brings us closer together as fellow travellers on this journey called life.

Temptation plays on those who are already WOUNDED. If someone isn't getting his needs met at home, he is more likely to be played upon by the temptress. notice that the victim is reluctant to follow and if not diverted from her lead, temptation will lead a man to death. Obviously the " loose woman" could also be a "loose man". This message is for MEN, WOMEN, YOUNG, and OLD. No one is beyond temptation.

Marriage needs protection. It won't work to think, "Well, we are married so, that's it, he is stuck with me and I can act any way I want and look any way I want because he is committed to marriage."

If a wondering man whose needs have been ignored goes off to work, there will be somebody out there with that seductive spirit, who will try to mice him into a trap. So use wisdom. Don't let husband or wife be like Ox or Oxen led to slaughter. Hopefully, godly men will be smart enough to not let a loose woman steal their life, but some men need their wives to build up their defenses from such temptation. Likewise, wives need to be built up against this trap too.

Roberts.

Part 2
When he spoke, everyone listened. People came from different works of life just to hear him talk.

He was jovial and made everyone laugh with his jokes and messages.

He put others before himself and made sure they were happy even to his own detriment.

He carried so much grace that the more he gave the more he received.

He stayed at events till the end and came home late, not drunk or high, he just wanted to get home when she was asleep.

Her constant nagging was enough to wake up a dead man.

She shouted over everything. Accused him that his female fans were sleeping with him and that he doesn’t practice what he preaches all because he had a messy past.

You see, this wasn’t who he wanted to settle with, but when her rejection became inevitable, he had to bow down to pressure and marry someone who had no idea about his goals and career.

So when he drove out of the house out of anger, he didn’t see the trailer that had lost its brakes.

Gone in the twinkle of an eye.

Hmmmmm!!

You can make mistakes with who you date, you can even make mistakes with an investment but I repeat, let that mistake be far from who you marry.

Don’t bow to societal pressures and family wahala.

Marrying your spec is different from marrying your peace.

Your Spec is not what you need to live happily, peace is what you need.

Steve Harvey once said “Don’t marry a man for what he can give you, marry a man for what he can sacrifice for you”.

I am saying and I quote “Don’t just marry for er****on, marry for direction. Don’t just marry for six packs, your face might end up in an ice packs”.

Marry who loves you and is concerned about your personal growth.

May God help us all!!🏆

People fell under anointing whenever she sang. She carried fire in her tongue and her voice made the angel assemble in one accord.

So many people wanted to be like her. They admired her from a distance and some told her how great an inspiration she was to them.

She was the cynosure of all eyes and she walked with so much poise and Grace.

The microphone was her getaway moment and at that point nothing else mattered.

But when she was behind closed doors, away from the glaring eyes of fans and well-wishers, she soaked her pillow in tears, wiped off the makeup, and revealed her true nature.

She’s bruised, battered, and pained. He hits her whenever he feels like and she still talked about how wonderful he was outside and even advised other couples on how to keep their marriages.

A true worshipper gone, lost to the cold hands of death by the very man she called her husband. Beaten and battered to death all because she thought he was a Christian brother. Packaged in a suit and tie and always following the pastor anywhere he goes.

Boy what have you done??

This was me yelling at my son for smashing his kids tablet on the ground, owing to moment of transient tantrums that is characteristic of kids.

The tab's screen was completely damaged and blank.

Should I punish him or not??
I asked myself.

This is a tab that is barely 7 months old.
It was a gift I got for him when he turned a year old, earlier this year.

Why punish ( s***k) him when he doesn't know the Value of what he had just damaged.

I felt pained by the incident and quietly walked away, though murmuring to myself that he had just blew up his chances and I was not going to buy any other tab for him.

Moments later when perhaps the anger had tapered down, I reviewed my son's use of his tab over the past 7 months.

Indeed it's been a great learning tool for him. From watching cartoons to learning nursery rhymes as well as mastering the act of switching on his device and navigating through to his favourite cartoons.

Sincerely it does amazes me how tech savvy a child of 19 months could be.

For this particular reason, I have decided to get a new replacement for his damaged tab.

As rightfully put in the book of proverbs `Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it'
It is my sincere and utmost desire to watch my son grow into a tech Guru.

Internet (technology) is the new oil well.
Just recently social media users have celebrated a 16 year old Nigerian boy, John Oseni, on his appointment as a senior blockchain and web developer for an Italian firm Flywallet.

Seeing this news on social media, I was so excited and at the same time inspired to redirect my path and to tap into the great and amazing opportunities the internet has to offer.

The internet offers myriad opportunities such as E-learning, telemedicine, internet banking and even online business opportunities, to mention but a few .

People , especially the youths rake in millions of Naira daily just by doing online businesses .

The good thing is that the internet is large enough and rewarding to anyone who is looking for a legitimate way of making money online.

For newbies looking for guidance and even those that haven't been able to have a break through in the online space despite previous attempts.

"God forbid that I allow you enter my house with that thing you have in your stomach.Do you want members of the church to laugh at me? A whole deacon like me. See, its either you terminate that pregnancy or I disown you"

Those were the words of Sandra's father as he slammed the door on her.

She didn't think things were going to get this sour.

Silas was everything she had ever wanted and more. He loved her to bits or so she thought. Pampered her with gifts and affection. He gave her all the atention she could ever ask for and it kept her mind at ease.

There was this one time he got into a fight because of her and was badly wounded, it made her love him the more and nothing or anyone else mattered to Shola.

At age 19, Shola had very firm breast and a well rounded buttocks with a shape to die for.

She grew really fast so it was hard to determine her age.

She was intoxicated by the love shown to her by Silas and had already pictured their family.

Silas is 29 and he just finished his masters and will probably get married to her, those were her thoughts.

She stole food items at home and even money to give to silas, she just wanted to make sure he never had to look outside for anything.

Everyone in Silas's compound refered to as "iyawo" and it only made her head swell all the more.

Everyone actually liked her because she was kind, loving, respectful, and above all, she was a good cook.

There was this time when Silas had issues with her rent and she used her school fees to offset it and later lied to her father that she was robbed.

"See,its impossible to abort this pregnancy and any attempt to do that might make her lose her life,I will ask that no further mention of abortion is brought up again" Doctor Eric said.

Silas didn't say a word to Shola all the way to the house.

"Baby, what are we going to do now"

"It's like you are mad, will you take that baby nonsense out of your mouth"

She was thrown aback by his sudden outburst.

"Baby, what have I done now?

"You are so dumb,so you don't know what girls your age do when they notice they are preganant,I don't even know what I am doing with a kid like you"

Shola broke down in tears as Silas kept raining abuses and curses on her.

"But I thought you said you were going to marry me?"

Silas laughs hysterically, leaving Shola bemused.

"Me, marry a 19 year old child? are you mad or something? You and that bastard should get out of my house"

Shola didn't know what to do anymore as even her Dad had rejected her and she was at a crossroad.

She leaned on the railings of the lagoon as she contemplated on the next step. She had lost a lover and her family and with a child nobody wants, there was really no need to live. But just as she was about to jump,a still voice whispered to her.

"What if you are carrying the next president in your womb? what if he/she holds the cure to AIDS? What if this was not a mistake but a lesson?"

filled with renewed strength and vigor, she wiped her tears and with the little money she had saved up,she got a one room apartment for herself.

Everyone mocked her and even her friends disassociated themselves from her whenever she came to school with her big stomach.

She cried herself to sleep most nights but always faced the new day with zeal and determination.

Months later she gave birth to a very beautiful girl that looked exactly like her and she named her after herself "Shola".

=========================================================

Shola jnr is 6 years old now while her mum runs her private businesses as a caterer and also a fashion designer.

Shola Jnr is on scholarship for being the most brilliant kid in her school and even her grandfather had no choice but to plead to be forgiven as he cared more about his title back then than his child's well being.

Silas on the other hand could'nt hide his depression when he saw his 6 year old daughter on national Tv,doing great exploits.

let conditions make you lose focus

yourself up and be your own motivation.

you become an achiever, people will never recognize you.

are a gift from God,they deserve better.

all the single mothers out there, dont lose hope.....

Stop shaming people for not being married or for not having kids.
It's a cultural mindset and stereotype to think everyone must have kids and husband or wife.

Not having any of those is still a success, and it does not make you less or more

Stop letting the society put you under pressure for not being married. Do not give room for culture to dicatate your life. No one should force you into having kids when you are not ready.

Move at your own pace. You owe no one explanation for the way your life is going.

Remember, most of what we do is based on societal constructs and the come with pressure to fit in, stop trying to fit, stand out, be different.

A girl child needs to be mentored and taught the proper values that will improve her self worth. A girl child needs to be provided for, cared for, cherished and loved. A girl child needs to be affirmed repeatedly that she is priceless. Parents, care-givers, governments and the society at large owe her these 💯
