IPOB PRESS RELEASE
28/12/2024

KUDOS TO ESN OPERATIVES FOR PROTECTING AND FOILING COUNTLESS TERRORIST ATTACKS AND KIDNAPPINGS-IPOB.

The Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) and the entire global family and movement wish to salute the gallant men and women of ESN for their efforts in curtailing the activities of Fulani terrorists and other criminal elements in Biafran Land. ESN remains the iron dome for Biafrans.

According to the kidnapping and ransom payment statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) for 2024. The records show that between 2023 and 2024, over 2.2 million Nigerians were kidnapped, and an amount of over 2.2 trillion Naira paid as ransom by the victims. This staggering figure of kidnapping cases and ransom paid has confirmed Nigeria to be a failed state. Nigeria is confirmed as the headquarters for terrorists and kidnappers in the world. There is no way the kidnapping for ransom syndicate will succeed without the connivance of the Nigerian government and her security agencies. Many Nigerian politicians and the top military and Police hierarchy are the supporters and beneficiaries of the kidnapping syndicates. Terrorism and kidnapping for ransom are the two most lucrative businesses in Nigeria. It is a million multi-dollar business between the criminals and some acclaimed State Actors.

Ndigbo are usually the main targets of the Nigerian Security Forces and the kidnappers. Ndigbo are seen as objects of exploitation by the State Actors. That's why Alaigbo is heavily militarized, yet the criminals and kidnappers are operating freely.
The South East would have been the hub of these kidnappers, if not for the prompt action of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB global family, of setting up ESN in 2020. Recall that the Biafra region (SE and SS) was under the Fulani terrorists occupation prior to the launch of the Eastern Security Network, ESN security outfit. These terrorists were deployed in large numbers to overrun Biafra land. When all hopes were lost and Biafrans were left at the mercy of the Fulani terrorists by the State and Federal Governments, IPOB and her leaders rose up and installed the Eastern Security Network, ESN. To the glory of God Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama, ESN successfully dislodged the terrorists and frustrated their agenda. Today, Ndigbo can sleep in peace and go to farms without being slaughtered by the barbaric terrorists claiming to be herdsmen. Biafrans do not understand the enormous sacrifices and losses that ESN operatives encounter daily in order to save our people from Fulani conquest.
The efforts of ESN Operatives made it possible for the Biafra regions to record the lowest kidnap and ransom payment according to the published
NBS report 2024. It was IPOB through ESN that made it possible that Ndigbo were not overrun by Fulani terrorists and kidnappers. IPOB has constantly called on Ndigbo to support ESN. Unfortunately, it is a handful of Biafrans and IPOB family members who are funding ESN.

Irrespective of the successes recorded by ESN Operatives, the Nigerian Government, through her murderous Security Forces and some compromised media, over reported insecurity in the South East region whereas the insecurity in other regions were at alarming rates? They did all that to de-market Alaigbo as the most insecure region in Nigeria, but the NBS report has proven them wrong. The plans of the Nigerian government and her murderous military to blackmail IPOB and ESN into abandoning our land are dead on arrival. IPOB calls on the Nigerian government and her murderous military to let Ndigbo breathe. ESN are not after the Nigerian Security Forces but against the sponsored Fulani terrorists. Murderous Nigerian Security Forces Should leave Ndigbo to enjoy the Christmas season by dismantling all their extortion checkpoints in the southeast.

Once again, the IPOB global family, the Directorate of State (DOS), and our Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu salute the courage of gallant men and women of ESN for their unquantifiable sacrifices. IPOB calls on Biafrans to support ESN to protect the land and not to look for ESN when they are already kidnapped.
IPOB and ESN have taken oath to defend Biafra Land and to restore Biafra sovereignty. That we must get by the grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama.

I used to run a kitchen in Yesufu Abiodun, Oniru, where I supplied food to banks and offices in Victoria Island, Lagos. My 15-year-old son often helped with deliveries, as he had just completed his WAEC exams in 2018. On one particular day, we had a delivery close to our house. Since it was nearby, he went without the driver, carrying the food and our POS machine.

Tragically, the Nigerian police abducted him, confiscated his phone, and took him to the anti-cultism unit in Gbagada. We searched everywhere in Victoria Island, unaware that he had been taken so far away. Eventually, they allowed him to call me, and his terrified voice broke me: “Mummy, are you on your way? I’m so scared.”

My husband and I, along with our lawyer, rushed to the station. At the gate, they took our phones, and then I saw my son—half-naked and sitting on the ground with over 100 others outside the station. I collapsed in tears. My husband, who is British, demanded to see the DPO and asked him directly: “What offense are you charging my son with?” The boy hadn’t been allowed to explain himself, yet the food and POS machine were right there at the station. The DPO’s response? “Because he dyed his hair.” That was it. Nothing more.

In the end, we were forced to pay for his release. This incident was a turning point for my husband, who decided that we couldn’t continue living in Nigeria.

What made this even more painful was the nature of our family. My children were homeschooled, had no social circles outside the family, and never went anywhere without us. They were raised in a closely-knit environment. At the time of this ordeal, I was seven months pregnant, and the trauma of the experience caused me to go into premature labor, resulting in an emergency C-section.

My son’s only “crime” was being a hardworking boy, helping with his parents’ legitimate business—a business that provided employment for Nigerians. For my husband, a white British man, to witness such injustice firsthand was a harrowing experience.

Many of us have bitter, painful stories about the Nigerian system. Yet when we speak out and tell the truth, we are accused of defamation or subjected to cyberbullying. It’s truly heartbreaking.
I personally say that Kemi should be left alone, she is saying exactly what she experienced and if I'm asked anywhere in the world the same question, I will narrate my ordeal, so will every member of my family!

Unprofessional Tendency: Why Would Ejimakor Go Into Contracts With The Prosecutor Of His Client?

When it comes to strange bedfellows, few can rival Aloy Ejimakor’s cozy relationship with the Nigeria government; the very same government prosecuting his high-profile client, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). While Aloy parades himself as a valiant defender of Biafran freedom fighter, his pocket seem to have found a sweet spot in the warm embrace of federal contracts. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a machete.

De Atlantic Investments Ltd, Ejimakor’s business baby has been feasting heartily at the government’s buffet table. Contracts worth over ₦355 million have flowed into its coffers for services ranging from supplying rice milling machines to constructing conference halls. And you would almost think the Nigeria government had mistaken Ejimakor for a trusted ally instead of a sworn adversary.

Without mincing words, this is a lawyer who claims to be waging war against tyranny and oppression, yet he is moonlighting as a contractor for the very oppressor. It is more like a firefighter moonlighting as an arsonist, or a preacher owning shares in a distillery hypocrisy of the highest order.

But wait, there is more. Not only is De Atlantic Investments Ltd pocketing millions, it is also allegedly evading taxes. Yes, the same taxes that fund the government Ejimakor claims to despise. How poetic! Nigerian law is clear: no tax compliance, no government contracts. Yet somehow, Ejimakor’s company keeps getting contracts like a cat with nine lives. Could it be that the government is rewarding him for his “loyal opposition”?

What is most galling is the impact this double-dealing has on Kanu. Here is a man sitting in detention, relying on his lawyer to fight his corner. Little does he know his lawyer is busy shaking hands with the same people tightening his shackles. How does Ejimakor reconcile these two worlds? Perhaps he considers it “balance” a lawyer by day, a contractor by night.

And what of the Nigeria government? By awarding contracts to Ejimakor’s company, they have managed to turn conflict of interest into an art form. Are they so short of contractors that they had to resort to hiring their own critic’s company? Or is this a cunning strategy to keep their enemies well-fed and off-balance? Either ways, it is a masterclass in absurdity.

The situation is a tragic comedy, with Kanu as the unwitting protagonist. His fight for Biafra emancipation is no laughing matter, but it is hard to ignore the circus surrounding his current legal representation. If Ejimakor truly believes in the cause he professes to champion, he must choose a side. He cannot serve Biafra with one hand while feeding from Nigeria’s trough with the other.

In the end, this saga leaves us with one burning question: is Ejimakor fighting for justice or just filling his pockets? Because right now, it looks like he’s doing both and poorly at that.

AGONISING: How Siblings of Iniquity Exerted A Double Agent Over Their Brother For A Lawyer

In the twisted world of betrayal and backstabbing, few tales are as excruciatingly tragic as the saga of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and the very siblings who should have been his strongest allies. Instead, they have proven to be nothing short of agents of iniquity, manipulating every opportunity to cash in on their brother's suffering and sell out their flesh and blood for personal gain.

If there ever was a textbook example of a "sibling betrayal," this is it. If Shakespeare were alive today, even he might look at this and say, “What a tragedy,” while shaking his head in disbelief. The Nigeria government’s relentless pursuit for Kanu has been brutal, but it seems the real treachery came not from the Nigeria state but from the people closest to the IPOB Leader, the ones who should have had his back.

One must wonder: Was it the Kanu siblings who planted the seed for his infamous kidnap in Kenya, where he was abducted and brought back to Nigeria in a scandalous move that raised eyebrows around the world? Or was it merely a case of unfortunate timing and poor judgment? The more one looks at their actions, the clearer the picture becomes. Perhaps the very hands that should have been helping Kanu were the ones tying the knots that would later tighten his chains.

The picture is clear: these siblings, who should have stood as his protectors, went ahead and sold their own brother down the river, lining their pockets while Kanu languishes in detention. It is as if they have been playing a deadly game of chess, all the while pretending to be innocent pawns, when in reality they have been playing their own hands, and all the while watching their brother suffer as a result.

To make matters worse, these same siblings have now been caught in a web of financial double-dealings, shortchanging Kanu’s lawyer to suit their personal agendas. Imagine this: a lawyer who was supposed to be working tirelessly to secure Kanu’s freedom instead, was manipulated into serving the interests of the very people who should have been working alongside him to secure their brother’s release.

Here is the most ironic part: while Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was incarcerated, his very siblings were orchestrating deals, cutting corners, and colluding with the system that oppresses him. They have become so embedded in their self-serving agenda that they have completely forgotten the purpose for which they should have fought for their brother’s freedom, and justice for the people of Biafra. But who needs principles when there is money to be made?

And let us not even get started on how these siblings have managed to manipulate every situation to their advantage. It is as though they have discovered the art of betrayal and deception, turning every opportunity into a way to weaken their brother’s legal standing while profiting from his misery. The betrayal has been so comprehensive, so cold-hearted that one can only conclude that their actions are a calculated effort to remain in the good books of those who oppress their brother, all the while enjoying the fruits of their cooperation.

We must ask, how did we get here? How did we go from a family that should have been united in the cause for justice and independence to one so fractured by selfishness and greed? Perhaps the most agonizing question of all is, did they betray him for money? Did they betray him for political gain? Did they betray him to gain favor with the same government that has persecuted him? One can only assume that Kanu’s siblings are ready to do anything, anything at all to remain in the good graces of the powerful, no matter the cost to their brother.

The sad truth is that these siblings have now become part of the very machine that oppresses Kanu, as they openly make deals, compromise the legal defense, and, like double agents, attempt turning the struggle for Biafra restoration into a matter of personal gain. Perhaps they even see their brother as nothing more than a pawn in their game a source of profit, rather than a family member worthy of loyalty and protection.

Can there be any greater betrayal than that? Imagine a brother whose entire life is dedicated to fighting for freedom, only to have those he once called family plot against him, manipulate his defense, and profit from his predicament. It is a sickening thought, but that is the reality Nnamdi Kanu faces today.

As Kanu languishes in detention, unable to freely pursue his quest for Biafra freedom, his siblings are not just distant, disconnected from the cause. They are very actively undermining it. They have traded in the ideals of freedom and justice for the cold hard currency of self-interest. They have shown their true colors: their loyalty lies not with the cause but with their own desires.

In a tragic twist of fate, these siblings have become the very agents of the system they once vowed to fight against. They have forgotten what it means to be family, to be a true ally in the fight for justice. Instead, they chose the path of compromise, deceit, and betrayal; selling out their brother, Nnamdi Kanu, for their own selfish ends.

This is the kind of tragedy that shakes the very foundation of familial bonds. And it leaves us asking, what kind of family would do this? What kind of siblings would turn on their own flesh and blood in such a cold, calculated manner? It is a betrayal that goes beyond words, one that will haunt them long after Kanu’s struggle is over.

One can only hope that one day, the truth will come out and these siblings will face the consequences of their actions, not just before the eyes of the world, but before the eyes of justice itself. Until then, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s battle continues, not just against the Nigeria government, but also against the treachery of those he should have been able to trust the most. And that, perhaps, is the greatest betrayal of all.

IPOB PRESS RELEASE,
25Th December 2024.

THE CLAIMS OF KILLING 13 IPOB MEMBERS BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY IS NOT ONLY FAKE BUT ALSO ILLUSIONARY-IPOB

The Directorate of State (DOS) of the noble family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) wish to debunk the falsehood and concocted propaganda peddled by the Nigeria Military in Enugu State of killing 13 IPOB members. The Nigerian Army is fear-mongering. They planned to use this fake news of killing 13 IPOB members to scare away Ndigbo from returning and enjoying their Christmas in their respective homes in the South East Region. These scare tactics by the Nigeria government and its compromised military will not work

IPOB understands Nigerian Government and its Nigerian military uses the name of the peaceful noble family of the IPOB movement and ESN to deceive the general public international community into believing that they are working on insecurity in our territory. The Nigerian Army in the South East are not curtailing insecurity. Instead, they are fueling the insecurity to justify the genocide they committed and have continued to commit against Ndigbo. We are happy that a reputable Civil Society Organization like INTERSOCIETY has compiled and published the murderous activities of the Nigerian Army in the South East. Nigerian Army has made uncountable efforts to destabilize, demonise, and criminalize IPOB and ESN before Ndigbo and the international community. The more they try, the more they fail because IPOB are not involved in the insurgency and insecurity, including criminal activities going on in the South East Region. The Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Police, and their murderous DSS are among the state actors destabilizing the South East in the name of fighting insecurity. These notorious Security Forces are the insecurity that the people experience themselves.

What is the beef of the Nigerian government and her murderous military against unarmed and non-violent movement like IPOB? The ethnic bigot government of Nigeria proscribed IPOB and labeled IPOB a terrorist organization in Nigeria but failed convinced international community to labeled IPOB a teror organisation, we all knew IPOB as the leader of a non-violent self-determination struggle to restore Biafra. The same self-determination is being pursued by the Oduduwa agitators and Hausa agitators respectively but, who are not considered as terrorists by the same Federal (Fulani) government of Nigeria. Since the 1945, Biafrans have always been considered enemies in Nigeria. Why then is the Nigerian State afraid of the Igbos *exiting* the unholy and unworkable union called Nigeria? Nigeria can't keep humiliating, intimidating, killing, and illegally abducting Ndigbo out of their ethnic hatred for Biafra citizenry and, at the same time, refuse to let them leave
from that bloody nation. Is Nigeria a witch?

The Nigerian government and her murderous military colluded with Fulani terrorists to overrun Biafra Land. That is why we allege that the Nigerian Army target is to destroy IPOB and ESN, who are the only formidable obstacle to their Fulanization agenda. IPOB formed ESN to curtail the terrorists activities of the Fulanis. On the other hand, the Nigerian government deployed the Nigerian Army under the Operation UDO-KA to attack Ndigbo and claimed it is ESN members who were up against Fulani terrorists in our bushes and farmlands. That is why we insist that the Nigerian Army is working together with the Fulani terrorists.

Recently, on international front, Niger Republic accused the Nigerian government and her Military of working together with the so-called new terrorist group "Lukuwana terrorists" to destabilize their country by sabotaging their oil pipeline in the Benin Republic. The Nigerian government and her murderous military have extended their destabilization activities to the neighboring countries. This ought to be a serious concern to the international community.

The Nigerian military spokesman must stop linking IPOB to their sponsored criminal activities going on in the South East Region with the unfounded media blackmail. The claims by the military spokesperson of killing 13 IPOB members are not only false but illusory. The military claimed to have killed 13 IPOB members but failed to substantiate their claims. The news headline is not only deceitful but unrelated to the main article. IPOB will equally use this opportunity to call on the Nigerian media to become circumspect and practice. investigative journalism in their reportage. The Nigerian Army's claim of killing 13 IPOB members should not be reported without proper investigation. Journalist The media reporting the claims of the killing of 13 unarmed IPOB civilians or ESN Operatives by the Nigeria soldiers (assuming that it is true) should not have reported it unceremoniously because the life of every IPOB person is precious. Unarmed IPOB members and ESN operatives are not terrorists or criminals who should be killed even though the Nigerian government decided to demonize us for defending our people.

Secondly, IPOB family members and ESN Operatives are all intact. There is no loss of IPOB family members or ESN operatives as claimed by the Nigerian Army. As long as IPOB and the international community are concerned, IPOB members are non-violent self- determination movement. On the other hand, ESN are armed disciplined Vigilantees that are mandated to dislodge Fulani terrorist and kidnappers masquerading as herdsmen in the South East Forests and bushes. IPOB will not retreat nor surrender on defending our people or in restoring our fatherland - Biafra Nation.
