Some time last year, I came across a post of a woman who shared her testimony regarding her autistic son and his achievements so far.

So I dropped a comment on that post congratulating the woman and her son, then prayed that my testimony would be louder.

After a while, on that very post, I got a lot of reactions and replies from other women wishing me well and encouraging me.

Based on the same comment, a woman called me from Garbon.

She introduced herself to me and told me she saw my comments on Facebook and she went through my profile and got my number to call me.

We spoke at length...
I mean, over 2hours on WhatsApp call.

She was sharing her experience with me as a mother of an autistic daughter, her challenges, her battles and victory so far.

This is the continuation. ..

What you were told is not what you're actually seeing.

But....

If you had been told that there's profit in whatever business you're being introduced to but you will need to follow it with a step at a time

Learn as you go and master as you grow.

With this mindset, you're already prepared for the outcome and still learning how to make the growth faster, things to do to speed up that your business.

Imagine if someone had introduced this my waterproof bedcovers business to me, and had told me how I will sell out 100pcs in a day and make hundreds of thousands of profit within 2days, probably adding that it is something everybody needs in their homes and I just dived into it with the hope of making it as quick as it sounds...

By now, I would have left this business even long before now.

👉because there were times I would stay up to 5 to even 6months without making a single sale...

👉but with consistency.. I have grown to the point that almost all my sales come in bulk.

I can't remember when last I sold 1 or 2pcs.

It's mainly on supplies to resellers and they are returning again and again✌️

There's profit in every business, unless by mistake or ignorance that's when you will not make profit.

Understand that growth in business comes with time.

That person you see making headway in his/her business has had their fair share of profits and losses.

There's this misconception a lot of people are getting about business startups and profit making.

Someone will tell you to start up a business and begin to calculate how much profit you will make out of it.

They will tell you to buy or start a business and create that mindset that you will automatically sell massively and make huge profit immediately you start 🤣

Mumu you 🥴🥴will now dive into it with the hope of making millions immediately

You have bought the items and it's now close to forever yet, you have not sold half the items or made quarter the profit.

The truth is, there's no business that you will start and not make profit.

But...

There's a process to growth.

Which is consistency🏋🏋in that business that will grow you to that stage where you will start selling out in some reasonable numbers and start making profit in added digits.

Forget those lies they tell you.

As a starter in any business, there is a process that takes a period of time to bring you to a certain stage.

...continued from my last post

I went to the backyard to check and discovered that the whole fence had been cleared.

I was thinking maybe the owner of the space cultivated the ugu and gave to my neighbour and probably my neighbour plucked and dropped them near their corridor to dispose later.

On my way out that day, the man selling beside our gate called to ask me whether I've been around, I replied yes.

He started asking me whether I didn't see the bunch of ugu sticks packed in my compound.

I told him I saw it and was wondering 🤔

This man said that it was the owner of that space that dropped the bunch of ugu leaves in my compound.

That she came and was even ranting that why would anyone touch her ugu leaves 🍃 😡😡

As the man was still talking, I got so angry that I didn't wait for him to finish.

I matched to that compound to see whether I would see the woman and I was told she had left.

This increased my anger 😠 😡

I was shouting on top of my voice.

I mean, I wanted to cry because this woman had rhe mind to claim right for what she did.

I was really angry to the point that my head started aching.

I had a lot ro say to this woman but I was told she has left.

I pleaded with them to give me her number but no one wanted to.

I became more furious especially for the fact that I was inside the house and didn't know she came around and worst of all, she was shouting and cursing.

Yet, I didn't hear anything.

Just as seen in this photo, the owner of the space on the other side of our house planted vegetables on her space.

This woman literally channelled the ugu to grow ontop of fence with barbed wires.

These vegetables grew until it started coming to knock on my windows at my backyard close to the fence.

I became so worried because it was beginning to make that place look like a forest and snakes or scorpions could easily have access to our compound due to the fullness of those vegetables.

So, I decided to look for the owner of that compound.

Meanwhile, this said compound has only shops built in it and the woman doesn't stay or sell there.

She just came, planted stuffs and varnished.

After going to ask about the woman and see if I could get her contact to tell her that her farmland is encroaching my house, the people I met there claimed not to have the woman's number.

Then I decided to use a long stick to push up the ugu.

This was a very difficult thing to do due to the entanglement with the ugu and the barbed wires.

I tried as much until I was able to push some over to the other side of the fence.

After about a month later, the ugu grew again and my husband did the same thing.

Only for me to come out of the house one day to see bunch of ugu sticks in my compound.

A woman was asking me what were the signs I noticed after giving birth to my child.

I told her, the w0rst thing about autism is that, it doesn't show any sign at birth.

My child could speak at earlier age, he could say some things every child at his age then could say.

Things like...
Fine, bye bye, water, leave me alone, and the names of his siblings

But...

As he grew towards age 2,3, those words started varnishing and he could not even respond to his name anymore.

Took him to the hospital here in Aba, even the hospital didn't guess it was autism.

Not until I started seeing some posts related to the same thing I'm facing.

I don see people wey their pikin get autism but I still dey tell myself say, my case and their own no fit be the same thing.

They have accepted it as their fate but me, I dey battle this challenge with every ounce of faith in me.

I look at this boy every time and again to remind autism that na road e miss.
